Dr. Martin was very nice as usual. The lady who helped me to pick glasses and lenses were not really nice. I brought my own frame and I felt that she didn't like that. She was showing me different kinds of frames, but I didn't find the one I like. So sorry, but I didn't. She was short with me . I paid for the exams and lenses.

Excellent overall experience. First time visit. I was in search of a new OD. Dr Martin was extremely thorough and listened to my needs. Outer office staff were friendly and really helped me find a good pair of glasses. Positive feeling so far, will probably stay with this OD.

The doctor and staff are very friendly so I’d recommend them for that. A couple issues, they scheduled a follow up for me, but forgot to put it in their system so when I showed up they said I had no appointment. The gal who scheduled it was there said she forgot to enter it and told me to come back the next day. That was fine, but I said I could only do that day if the appointment was 30 minutes like this one would have been and they said it would be. I came back the next day and sat in the waiting room alone for 30 minutes and had to rush through my eye exam. Other than the scheduling issues, this was a fine place to go for an annual exam.

Dr.Martin answered all my questions and even shared information about my vision that no other optometrist had taken the time to do so in my past. Staff are pleasant and welcoming. Each person explained their task or procedure so that I understood the processes. Dr. Martin was especially helpful in explaining which type of eyewear is best for which circumstances. He understood my description of my work needs and set my prescription accordingly.

I've been seeing Dr. Martin for about 5 years now, very nice and knowledgeable. He has always been a little long-winded but recently it's really affected my wait time. First visit I waited over 50mins from my scheduled appointment time. Follow up visit, I called first to see if he was on time, was told to be there at my appointment time. As soon as I got there I was told he was way behind and I was best to come back in 30 mins. So I came back 30 mins later and still had to wait another 20 mins. As someone who tries very hard to be at least 10 mins early for anything this is very frustrating, especially when I leave work early only to wait around.

I appreciate the overall time and attention Dr. Martin and staff give me each visit. I see an optometrist only once a year so I want as thorough an exam as possible. Dr. Martin took well over an hour with me. He documented and explained each aspect of the exam and provided excellent feedback. The “eyeglass” portion of the office was very well stocked and the attendant optician was very efficient and knowledgeable. A very clean, professional and efficient operation from the receptionist/assistant at the door through Dr. Martin’s exam.Vision Health Optometry definitely has my recommendation.

Great Eyewear Selection! Drew was super helpful and attentive when I needed assistance selecting the best glasses and sunglasses. I wear glasses every day so I’m really picky. Lots of frames to choose from. Got the Maui Jim sun glasses as well this time with RX lenses. So cute.

I like going to Vision Health because their whole team is always friendly. During the pandemic I had to take my young child with me and they were kind to him and took the time to talk to him; Dr Martin even answered his many questions about the machines and posters in the room withoutthe least bit of annoyance. Dr. Martin and staff were excellent. Very pleasant office atmosphere and Covid protocols respected. My first visit to Vision Health and Dr. Martin was very thorough. Did not feel rushed (as is the usual case elsewhere). During examination Dr. Martin discovered an indication of early glaucoma in one eye and made an immediate reference to my doctor at Kaiser. They called today and my appointment is next week. Wow, how cool is that? I very much appreciate this kind of efficiency and thoughtfulness. Early detection is everything! I look forward to returning next week to pick out frames from their extensive collection. Thank you Dr. Martin and staff!

Over the last 2 days I have called to request a copy of my prescription. I asked on the day of my appointment, but Dr. had stepped out. I have called twice to request a copy and I have yet to recieve an answer or some kind of communication. You were quick to book my appointment and take my money, but no service after the sale is problematic for me. I may be looking elsewhere for my eye care in the future.

Really enjoyed my first visit to this office. Super thorough exam! I feel like Dr. Martin genuinely cares about my eye health and took the time to answer all my questions. I’ve been wearing toric contacts for astigmatism for years and he is the first optometrist to tell me it’s so mild that I could probably wear regular contacts. Gave me some trial lenses and I can see great! Looking forward to saving money on the cheaper lenses from now on. Office staff was also super friendly.

Dr. Martin and his staff are courteous, effective, and efficient. After I realized I needed something other than what we had decided on the day before, I asked for a new glasses prescription order. They redid the prescription efficiently and in a positive manner within hours, canceling the previous order. Their technology is the latest and greatest. They are following the recommended protocols to stay safe from COVID-19. I'm very happy with Vision Health Optometry.

I've been going to Dr Martin for about 6 or 7 years now, and about 2 years ago, convinced my husband to go to Dr Martin for his eye exams too. Everyone in the office is very friendly and the office is clean and inviting. Dr Martin is very friendly, personable and has a good sense of humor. Phenomenal place! I went there for the first time after utilizing the vision center inside of Walmart for many years. Now that I have a different insurance I decided to come here. I’ve never had such a thorough exam before and I appreciated that Dr. Martin explained everything along the way. I was a bit nervous especially during a pandemic but they took my temperature and asked me the typical questions to ensure everyone’s safety. Everyone was very efficient and super friendly. I appreciated the transparency in regards to the cost as well.

I have been a regular paitient at this site for a couple of decades and it seems that the appointment time of duration really varies. One checkup with Dr. Martin was 10 min.s and another was 45 minutes. I am only referring to the time I spend with the doctor. The mechanical instrument tests and the eyeglass fitting is generally consistant in time duration. I like the thoroughness of the longer check up but felt rushed and somewhat put off the 2 times I was rushed through. In one case I was 5 min.s late and in the other case, the patient after me came in early and was a high maintenance type. This is more of an observation than a criticsm. My only real gripe is when the longer term eyeglass technician told me they could cut my ear off and put it back on leve with the other when trying on glasses. This was not appreciated as a youth I had my ear cut with a straight razor during a hair cut and I thought the humor was inappropriate for a professional office.

I appreciate customer service, being interested in what's going on with a client. When I realized that it was Ron Martin, talking with a client in the next room about their dislikes regarding television shows and he's 25 minutes behind schedule, I find it disrespectful. When I walked into the office No One even acknowledged that I was there. It was not all that welcoming of an experience and I highly doubt that I will be back. The appointment ran so late that I was out of time, and the assistant was going to send me over a quote for the two frames and lens that I was interested in, and I've still not received the quote (two days later). The last part of the eye exam I thought was thorough, which I appreciated. And it may have been an off day for the office. But this was my initial experience, and not something that I desire to replicate.

Dr. Ron is a professional. He explains questions I ask with answers even I can understand. Sometimes I've waited over my appt. time. It's no big deal. Some patients take longer than others. My business is customer related, so I understand. Lastly I like his sense of humor... Mike
