Easy to schedule, quick to get me in and out of the office, and fixed my eye issue! I had a minor corneal abrasion that was extremely uncomfortable and keeping me awake at night. Dr. Patel gave me the right drops to fix them problem immediately. Such a relief!

I couldn't be any more pleased with the service! My daughter was getting contacts for the first time and Dr Patel was so patient with her. He explained and showed me why I couldn't see with my old prescription instead of just getting me a new prescription. He gave me a few days to decide if I wanted to go with progressive lenses and explained my options in case I completely hated them. They were very friendly and genuine as oppose to rushing me as if I was just another costumer. A definitely customer for life!

If you're like me and are in the #aintnobodygottimeforthat group, then Dr. Patel and his staff is for you. I loved that I received professional care very efficiently. So easy to schedule and change appointments and I got a text when my contacts were ready for pickup. Quick doesn't mean less than thorough. I was given a recommendation on changing contacts after Dr. Patel asked lots of questions and was given a couple of pairs to try. I will definitely be back.

We were able to schedule my sons appointment via text message! This is great for me since I am always on teleconferences! The staff member even confirmed my insurance via text. So convenient. Dr. Patel is efficient, friendly and very knowledgeable. The best part of it all, so fast! We were in/out with eye exam and appointment in under an hour! So awesome! Great selection of eyeglasses that he prepares for you right then and there, can leave with your new glasses. Best eye place ever!

Great exam. Of all the ones I've had over the years I'd say this was the quickest I've had. I say that because I feel Dr. Patel clearly knows what the patient script was and what he feels it should be based on his machines.

Everyone at Today's Vision is so friendly and helpful! Unlike some of their competitors, Today's Vision has a generous selection of unlocked frames that a person may look at and try on unassisted, in addition to a beautiful collection of higher end designer frames. They were very understanding about my trying on virtually every pair of glasses in stock before finally deciding on "the one." Choosing eyeglass frames is very difficult for me, so I greatly appreciate their patience. The ladies were also kind enough to keep their opinions about how the various frame styles looked on me until I asked them for their feedback, which they supported with good reasons, and which helped me immensely. I also have great confidence in Dr. Patel as my optometrist. He is very knowledgeable and pleasant, and I feel safe in his care. I also musn't forget to mention how grateful I am for the availability of Saturday appointments and the fact that they are open late enough that I can visit their office after work. They are a truly wonderful group in every way!

Dr. Patel & his team are amazing. I went in on Friday as a new patient and I was checked in promptly and was in and out in less than an hour withan eye exam and glasses. He answered all of my questions, was very pleasant. He & his team helped me pick out glasses that looked good on me which were on sale. Def found my new optometrist and team! ❤️

Wait time was almost nonexistent. I noticed his staff was able to balance quite a few appointments and I was in and out for a new patient contact fitting within about 30 minutes. I've struggled to find contacts that are comfortable. Not only did Dr. Patel adjust my prescription to what was appropriate (from a past doc) he recommended a great pair, with price in mind, on our first try. I'm extremely happy I found Dr. Patel's practice and highly recommend.

Dr. Patel is ...efficient! So many times doctors run late, run slow, but not Dr. Patel. Very thorough, very knowledgeable, and respectful of my time. Couldn't be a better combination for me and my kids :) We've found our home for our vision care.

Horrible experience! I took my kids there to get exams and glasses and they had a hard time pulling up there insurance. Now, for whatever reason, I was asked if I was trying to use Medicaid?! What?! Why would you ask me that? Surely, not because we're African American?!? PLUS, they tried to charge me $298 for upgrades I DID NOT ask for! Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere!

Sorry you felt that way, but the plan you have has a medicaid version, that just to make sure, we wanted to see if that was the one. We did have a hard time finding your plan and usually patients and patrons know their exact plan/ID number and trying to fish around and try to find it out of all the plans out there was a daunting task. Asking if it were medicaid plan should not have been insulting!! And DO NOT throw the race card out there!!!!! As for the "upgrades"....This is what your insurance dictates for the prices for frame and lens. We put children in polycarbonate lenses which are impact resistant for safety. This is standard in our office and in most reputable offices for safety for children under 18. Regardless, We gladly gave you their prescriptions to go where it was more affordable for you.

Office staff and Dr. Patel was great. Office staff was courteous and very helpful. I have had exams in the past last for up to 2 hours because I am hard to fit for contacts. Dr. Patel took me through the evaluation and exam and fit me with new contacts all in less than 35 minutes. It was really a great experience.

Like the Dr and staff very much but did not like that I was not told about the fee for the prints of my eye that I didn't even need nor ask for. The Dr finished my exam and told me I could go back out in the lobby to wait for the images of my eye to print so I was under the impression this was a complementary service until they handed me the pictures and charged me $30 for them. I would have had no problem if I had simply been asked in the first place. Just felt that was a sneaky way to upsell the customer and/or be able to file an additional claim on insurance.

I'm sorry Ana that we didn't get 5 stars from you. On the back of the form YOU had checked that you consented for the retinal photos. The price, description, and consent are bold and highlighted so they are not overlooked. By the way We don't try to do anything sneaky. Here is exact text on the back side of form: 1) Digital Retinal/ Fundus Photography ($30 Introductory Price ): Our office offers digital retinal imaging, which uses a computer-integrated digital imaging system to record a detailed view of the retina. Since nothing touches the eye, photo-documentation is painless. This digital image provides an excellent reference point for future comparisons. Retinal photography assists in the detection and management of problems such as diabetic changes, hypertensive retinopathy, macular degeneration, optic nerve disease, and retinal holes or thinning. Retinal images can be taken on dilated and un-dilated eyes. Photo documentation of the retina is strongly recommended for patients with retinal conditions but are optional for patients when performed as preventative care. ** The doctor strongly recommends your eyes to be dilated or get Retinal Photos taken for a thorough eye exam, especially if it is your first eye exam.** Therefore, the doctor can evaluate the inside health of your eyeball. Dilation drops last on average about 2 to 4 hours. It temporarily impairs near vision, increases light sensitivity, and in most cases, not greatly decreases distance vision, but you may need to pay extra attention if you drive afterwards. Been coming to Today's Vision Frisco for a couple years now. Great Customer Service when you get there and Dr. Patel explains everything to you in detail. Only takes a day or two to get your contacts in and being opened on Saturdays is great for us M-F, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM working class folks!

Dr. Patel is efficient yet thorough, and offers comprehensive testing at reasonable prices. Also, the availability of Saturday and after 5:00 p.m. appointments relieves the stress of having to ask one's employer to take off work for one's eye care needs.
