Excellent! Very friendly & helpful office in every level. High tech eye exam using machines followed by doctor verification. Willing to work with you on your specific vision needs, rather than just making sure you have 20/20 distance. For me, I need to be able to read daily & frequently for my job, (I’m a certain age lol) so we came up with a solution tailored to me. Perfect! They also remind you when it’s time to come in, but don’t hound you. They coordinate insurance benefits with zero stress to you. It’s a hidden little gem of an office.

My only negative is that I make an appointment with a particular specialist, and then for at least the last few times I have not been seen by that person. I have no problem with either of the young dr's I have seen and would be glad see either of them again, but I would prefer when i make an appointment to actually see the person with whom I am promised an appointment.

My family and I have been going to Today's Vision Bellaire for almost 10 years. They always work me in for an problem visit. You are seen the same or next day for an annual visit. The doctors and staff are awesome. It feels like visiting family. Their selection of frames are vast and the staff will help you pick out the right pair. They also never push products that are not needed. I have total trust in Today's Vision.

As always I received fast, efficient service. My appointment starts right on time. Dr. Nguyen took the time to explain all my different eye wear options and which he recommended the most for me. I went with his recommendation and I am very pleased I took his suggestion for one pair of glasses with progressive lenses

Dr. Nguyen is very attentive and gives you options on your vision plan. It had been a long time since my last eye exam and my eyes had changed a lot. My first eyeglass prescription he gave was giving me headaches on the right side and I came back in for an adjustment. They were able to cut a new lense for my glasses right there in only 30 min. My new prescription is much better and no headaches!

Friendly team. Clean, comfortable, quiet, environment. Latest instruments and techniques. Doctor was easy to talk to, took plenty of time to explain the condition of my eyes clearly. They take my vision insurance. Large selection of name brand glasses available, priced accordingly. I usually do not buy glasses there, as my membership warehouse store is able to meet my needs much more economically.

I woke up with a swollen, red, and painful eyelid and called to see if I could walk in. They were very accommodating and fit me in that same day just a couple of hours later. The receptionist and Dr. Vu Nguyen were very friendly and professional. Dr. Nguyen prescribed oral antibiotics and gave me home care instructions. He gave me a follow up appointment for the following week, but said if my eye got worse to come in. The following day my eyelid was worse and I was, again, able to schedule an appointment the same day. Overall, I’m impressed by the thorough and friendly care I’ve received.

I have been coming here for the last 3-4 years for my eye care needs. I love Dr. Nguyen because he’s very informative and totally cool. They have a great selection of eyeglass frames. Price wise they are super reasonable. For the first 2 years I did not have insurance so I had to pay out of pocket. Their prices were very reasonable for a basic eye exam.

Pros: Dr. Nguyen is a great eye doctor. He is attentive and thorough. Cons: I find the office manager condescending. She isn't good with client communication. I've emailed the office manager a number of times and never received a response even though one was requested. For example, they send out reminders of your appointment and I replied to that email asking to reschedule since I was out of the country and couldn't call. Didn't get a response. So I showed up and the office manager proceeds to tell me the doctor has left for the day because I cancelled. My email was specifically in the form of a question asking if I could cancel and because she didn't respond, I took time off of work (after several days of pto already) to go for no reason. Mind you, the attitude was it was my fault for canceling rather than their inability to communicate effectively. Ironically, when it came time for payment, the office manager was all over the communication to call me for my credit card number. Interesting how that is. I'm spoiled for choice in the area for eye doctors. Will be exploring my options.

I've never gone to a vision place such as this so I was apprehensive. I've always gone to the ophthalmologist. I have to say-I'm a fan. They had more technological diagnostics than the ophthalmologist did. I didn't have to wait long the service was quick and very thorough and both doctors listened and worked with me to find the best solution for me. I am 51 and not wanting to except the inevitable vision changes-we work together to find a functional solution that I'm very happy with! I would recommend this facility to anyone .

I've been wearing glasses or contacts for over 50 years. I've been to many different optometrists but I have found that Today's Vision Bellaire is the best. The office staff is extremely knowledgeable. Dr. Nguyen, although a professonal, jokes and laughs. I have found it to be a more casual and fun office but professional.

Dr. Nguyen always takes the extra time to make sure I understand everything and reviews all options with me. He goes the extra mile to show how different lenses could effect my vision if they are changed out. He does not push you to make a new purchase if it's not absolutely necessary.

Dr. Nguyen was very thorough and took his time to answer my questions. The staff was great and I was highly satisfied with the treatment I received. The only problem is before my appointments (and after) I received close to 10 emails asking me to confirm my appointment (some of which came even after I confirmed) or thanking me for coming. This was a bit annoying.

He investigated my issue thoroughly and told me what he believed the problem was. I even had a phone interview take place during my appointment and they let me sit in a quiet room for it. Since the first time I walked in your location I was not only greeted but assisted by Jisela and she is a wonderful, experienced and very knowledgeable lady who answered and helped me make a decision on my prescription glasses. Dr. Nguyen is incredibly receptive and attentive to a patients concerns, questions and curiosities regarding eye care prevention. I truly and highly recommend everybody to visit Today's Vision. I was extremely pleased with my appointment. When I walked in I was intsantly greeted with a smile by the front desk staff. They were very polite and helpful. The eye doctor was also very kind and I could tell he takes pride in his practice. I would highly recommend coming here!

Dr. Nguyen and his staff have been very helpful when I decided to wear contacts again after a 10 year break. I tried several different types till I liked the soft bifocal contact. They also worked me in on MY lunch break for an urgent problem.
