Every contact with Dr. Pockl or any member of his staff is flawless! I did not answer the question about scheduling an emergency appointment because, thankfully, I have never needed to do that. I have no doubt that they would be responsive to my needs, but I can't honestly rate them on this particular question. I am very grateful for the excellent care I receive!

Staff is very friendly. They recently redid their waiting area and there isn't really a dedicated waiting area. No place to hang a coat and the receptionist has to wave her hand to let patients know which window to go to.

I think it is terrible that you switched labs for your lenses. You have made it difficult for patient whose frames are perfectly good to just get new lenses. If you can't put new lenses in your frames and have to send the whole glasses away to fix them. What if they are the only pair of glasses you have and can't do without your glasses. Itp doesn't seem right that you would have to buy another frame if your old frames are good. Very upset.

The whole staff is very friendly and always welcoming. They explain what you are having done before they do it so that you feel comfortable. I've never waited more than 10 mins. And they got me in for an apt when I had an emergency with my eye. I highly recommend them to everyone!

It is without hesitation that I highly recommend the Eyecare Center of Wheeling. I have going to them for years. During that time, I have had the opportunity to personally interact with both eye doctors and many of the staff ascthey worked. They are always consummate professionals who are knowledgeable, courteous, and thorough. The entire staff ensure that you receive the care that you need. My family member had a rare childhood eye condition. The doctor easily recognized the problem and took all the measures to fix the problem. In addition, he put both the mother and daughter at ease. I recommend the Eyecare Center of Wheeling so highly that no only have recommended it to friends, I have driven friends there who lacked the transportation.

I love both Dr. Happy and Dr. Dormis. They both are wonderful at their jobs and with their patients. However this last time I was not happy with the selection of glasses available for youth. I had to take my son’s prescription and go elsewhere which I have never had to do before. This usually isn’t the type of experience we have and it was disappointing. One of the reasons I come to this clinic is Because of the staff and ease of everything being a one stop shop. Hopefully they have a better selection for next year or I might have to seek out other places.

I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the cost for all services, including new glasses, was much lower than I expected. I would highly recommend The Eyecare Center of Wheeling!

I have used the Eyecare Center of Wheeling for almost 10 years. They have always been efficient, caring, friendly and outstanding quality. My eye doctor remembers me from year to year and recalls things we have talked about. He is very careful and even double checks details of my eye health. The staff is friendly and caring. When I pick out glasses frames, they are very patient with me, and have even ordered frames in smaller sizes when they didn't have a shape I liked in the size I need.

They do the same with covered charges and charges that will not be covered. The physician was thorough and took the time to answer all my questions. If there is one Doctor and one office I wish every person could go to, it is Dr. Dormas at the Wheeling Eye Care Center. Every person there is friendly and professional. I appreciate the new, updated testing available and left knowing the accurate health of my eyes. Dr. Dormas is easy to relate to and has a wonderful sense of humor. Amanda was great help in choosing new frames and type of lenses. I look forward to seeing her again. Everyone I came in contact with in that office, lifted my spirits! My first impression when I walked in the door was wow this is it really a beautiful place! The staff greeted me and were extremely nice and professional. I had the honor of being Dr. Dormus’s patient whom I thought was actually tops in his profession. I never once felt rushed or like I was just a number or a dollar sign. He answered every single question that I had and he gave professional advice! I would highly recommend this office and staff to anyone. I am extremely impressed!

Dr. Pockl is great! I've been seeing him for years, and I'm very happy. They have a new machine to take photos of your eyes, so they don't need to dilate them. I would say that a larger selection of womens frames would be nice, but I'm lucky I've been able to choose something from what they have.

I was very pleased with the services at Wheeling Eye Care Center. The staff was helpful and friendly, and the Doctor's were kind and helpful when explaining what was going on with my vision and what my options were as to glasses. they also had a very nice selection of glasses to choose from. I was very happy to see that they were looking out for the safety of their patients with new check in procedures. They had an array of stylus's set up to check in on the ipad and a collection cup set up for the ones that had already been used so that each patient could tell which ones had been sanitized for their protection. Thank you for looking out for us! I will definitely recommend Wheeling Eye Care Center to all my friends.

Everything about this office is excellent! I was able to submit my new patient paperwork online which is a huge time saver. My appointment started on time without me having to wait extra in the waiting room like is common for other offices. All staff were friendly and professional. Dr. Dormas was personable and took the time to get to know me and patiently explain his answers to any of my questions. I never felt like he was in a hurry to move on to the next patient. The selection of frames in the lobby is wide and high quality. The techs there were also helpful in narrowing down the selection and informing me of other color options as well. They even mentioned that if I don’t end up liking the color of frames I ordered that they could replace them with the color I tried on free of charge. Such a seamless and stress free experience. I couldn’t be happier with Wheeling Eyecare Center!

We were extremely pleased with everyone in the office. We had 3 appointments that day. Myself and 2 of my children. Dr. Happe was thorough and patient with all of us, he engaged with my younger son that was with me. When it came time to pick out glasses Amanda was very helpful as the 3 of us were trying on glasses and she made sure the kids stayed within my budget. I was very impressed with the staff and Dr. Dormus at Eye Care Center of Wheeling. They were so great with my 7 year old son! Very thorough and friendly. I highly recommend them! And I am switching to them for myself, as well!
