This was a terrible appointment. I was taken 20 min late for a cleaning. My husband was taken on time. Was my hygienist late for work? The sonic cleaning tool she used spewed too much water into my mouth that I was coughing and had to get suctioned a lot. I asked her if she could control the water and got the answer of there has to be water so the machine doesn’t overheat. This never happened to me previously. No one told me Dr Bob was gone. Should have been given the news so I could reschedule with the yet to be working new dentist, not a sub. As a result, we have left your practice. I am tempted to put this on Pebble Creek egroup but word will get out on its own.

I really appreciated Dr. Bob getting right to the problem of my chipped tooth. He gave me a new looking tooth in short order and took the time to answer my question concerning another tooth.. I left there feeling like a new woman with a good smile. Thank you to Suncoast Dental for giving me a short notice appointment. The staff was courteous and helpful.

This office is amazing ! I have been a challenge for them this past year with my insurance company ( aetna) deciding halfway through my procedure not to cover anything. They assured me I would be taken care of and we would finish my implants. They are patient and understanding and very kind. This is why I continue to come back and refer friends and family.❤️

I went for my every 6 month cleaning. The hygienist was very thorough. I had alot of plague and she had to work hard to get it off. She asked me several times if I was OK. I was, but appreciated her caring. The staff are always kind and welcoming. Dr. Bob wasn't there that day, but he's always very kind and knowledgeble.

All of the staff at Suncoast dental are very nice and all so accommodating . The hygienist is very thorough with explaining the procedures of what she is doing, how your teeth are looking what needs to be done and gentle with teeth cleaning. Dr Bob is always very friendly and also goes through any issues and explains them. Very comfortable going to the Suncoast dental and everything is always quick and painless. My appt with Isabella went very well. She was kind and professional and did a great job. However, when I made my appointment, I made it with Liz who is always my first choice for a hygienist. Someone on your staff decided to move me which I find highly irritating!! I have never had that happen in 30 years of being with a dentist in our previous state. Who decides they can just do that? I don’t like it at all. This also happened when Nicole was still there. I thought it just have been a mistake on my part, but now I see it is a pattern. When I make an appointment with someone, I expect to see that person. Very unprofessional in my opinion.

No, I was not satisfied with my office visit August 15th. My visit was for a 6-month checkup and cleaning. The hygienist seemed to be very inexperienced, took an hour to clean my teeth (no x-rays) and didn't fully clean my teeth. Dr. Balcar came in to examine next and he QUICKLY recleaned the upper and lower front teeth. Overall, the staff is not professional or pleasant. I will not be returning for future dental care.

ZERO STARS> My wife Christi and myself were scheduled for our six month cleaning and exam at 8 am. At 6:50 AM dental office phoned and asked if my wife and I could arrive earlier to which we agreed. Arrived office at 7:15 am, my wife Christi was taken back for cleaning. I waited until 8 am - then questioned staff why I was asked to arrive so early to have to wait 40 minutes? - no answer, just an excuse. I then waited until 8:25 am (original appt. at 8 am) my wife was finished so we both left the office. I will not return to this office for dental care.

Kimberly(?) the hygienist did an excellent job and took her time with me. Dr. Balcar, I felt, was a bit rushed and abrupt, especially for me being a new patient. However, he did come back in the room before my polishing and asked how I was and why I came to Suncoast Dental. After I explained that two different dentists in one prior practice told me different things as far as what I needed done, Dr. Balcar explained his motto of “If it’s not broke, don’t fix it”. Yes, I may need some crowns in the future, but for now, all was ok and he sent me on my merry way. I appreciate his honesty and forthrightness.

Dentist found an issue and did a good job of explaining next steps and the front desk folks reviewed the financial situation with a breakdown of what would be covered by insurance and the out of pocket cost of the crown that was needed. My new hygienist was not as competent as the hygienists' have been in the past. At best, I would give her 2 * because she clearly needs additional training. I had water repeatedly sprayed all over my face and down my neck, as well as other issues. Her technique needs more training. I will not allow her to work on me again, and at this point may not return to Suncoast Dental for future work. My husband and I have been going there for over 9 years and have been extremely pleased! Also, after raising your fees, you are now charging us 3 1/2% for using a credit card. I will definitely pursue other dental offices.

The quality of care and service here is fantastic. When we relocated to Arizona to California three years ago, we had to quickly pick a new dentist. We are so happy we chose Suncoast in Goodyear. The entire staff is knowledgeable, professional and always welcoming. And my teeth have never been in such great condition. Plus, they give awesome tips on how to maintain excellent dental hygiene. Honestly, going to the dentist is my least favorite thing to do. However, Nicole makes it an ALMOST pleasant experience. I rated four stars only because it is so hard to get an appointment. Since I have my teeth cleaned every four months it's sometimes impossible to get an appointment when needed. The staff is great and does all they can, but appointments are always months out in my experience.

They don't add things to your treatment to pad their bill as other dental offices in the area do in my opinion. Althena did a fantastic job cleaning my teeth yesterday. Of course, she always does. The lovey women who work in the front office are so welcoming and friendly. In the past, Dr. Belcar put two crowns in and he listened to my fears and instantly made me feel comfortable. They turned out perfect. He smoothed out other crowns I had from another dentist who did a terrible job as my bite was off. Took me 30 years to find a dentist like Dr. B. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend.

Today's visit was not quite what I've become used to at Suncoast Dental, First, the receptionist spoke to me from behind a walled partition at the front desk. I could barely see her and found it quite offputting and rude. Next comes my cleaning with a hygienist I have never seen before. No ultrasound and water were used, unlike my last three visits. Just hacking and scraping under my gums which was quite unpleasant. Lastly, the dentist comes in does a cursory look in my mouth, and announces one of my teeth has more filing than enamel and should be replace with a $1200. crown. Just great. I waited for the crown estimate from the billing clerk as she proceed to complain about her old slow computer. A very different and disappointing visit.
