Unfortunately my insurance lapsed and they wouldn't work with me on the amount I needed to pay out of pocket. Even though I've been coming to them for about 7 years. I drive 45 minuets to go here, as I moved north of Boston 2 years ago. I really enjoyed the dental experience with Dr V. So I walked out. Disappointed that they weren't able to help me out.

Lisa always let me know what I did good and what can be improved in next 6 months. I have very crowded teeth. Lisa pointed out that I have brushed my teeth on the right side better than the left side and I need to spend more time and brush my right side with better angle. I have benefited a great deal from her advice and have kept my teeth cleaner from plaque and tartar every 6 months.

My daughter is only 4 years old and she has been a patient of Dr Soncini for the last year and a half. She absolutely loves her Dentist. It is one of her most favorite places to visit. She is terrified to go to the regular Doctors office but if you mention the dentist, her eyes light up. Often times she will ask, why can’t Doctor Soncini come to our house to play. Dr. Soncini is an amazing pediatric dentist. She has great bedside manners and is always friendly and knowledgable. She treats you like you are her only patient. My daughter loves her. We love the level of service and care provided by Dr. Soncini. We have been seeing her for about 7 years give or take and she's been great with my daughter. She helped my daughter relax and feel comfortable getting dental care prior to that my daughter hated dental appointments.

10/10, I've never had a bad time or an unpleasant hygienist in my 22 years of being a patient at SSDG. I typically stick with the same person until they retire or leave, I had a new person this time and she was very nice, friendly, conversational, and funny.

This is the first (of many historically) root canal I have ever had that was painless during the procedure and after. Dr. Melito explained the procedure and answered my questions clearly. I felt comfortable with the experienced assistant also, who reassured me. I appreciated the print of stones in front of me. It helped me do focused breathing to reduce anxiety. Overall, excellent experience.

I made the appointment because I had a cavity that I could see with my own eyes. I arrived at the appointment to discover that the Dentist that I had been seeing for years had retired, and a new dentist was assigned to me. The new dentist looked at the tooth for perhaps 2 minutes, told me that I had a cavity, but he didn’t have time to do anything that day. I had to make another appointment on another day. He had his technician take one x-ray of the tooth…the entire appointment was perhaps 15 minutes for which I was charged $180 (minus a Senior Discount). I left with the same untreated cavity and the need to come back for further treatment and additional costs!

Doctor Vezyropoulos είναι ο καλύτερος των γιατρών. Kelly and me have been there for so many decades she actually knows more about Dr. Altman than I do. She has read his book, I haven't and don't know where to get one. Kelly introduced us to the iO series. We have iO 5s. Moderately priced with incomparable results. For a large sum of money you can buy the iO 10 Limited, which measures your heart rate, white, platelet and red blood cell count, hemotocrit, O2sat and an EKG while you brush. Instead of the red light you get an electrical shock if you press too hard. The learning process is almost instant. The long drive up from the South Shore is very refreshing. My wife drives and goes over upcoming appointments and events while I take a nap. An excellent driver, she never takes her eyes off the road.

Not acceptable. 3 appts for one tooth issue? I would like the 8/22 visit to be long enough for whatever work must be done on the tooth same day. I cannot take off 3 days for one tooth issue. After years of neglecting my teeth, and feeling anxious and ashamed to see a dentist, I found my way to Emily and Dr. Najjar. I was so worried about getting my teeth cleaned because I haven’t been to the dentist in 3 or 4 years. Emily was so kind and understanding. She put me at ease so that she could do her job. She did a fantastic job. I also was very worried about my front caps falling out. 2 of them had fallen out months after they were put in. She checked them out before she started. She put. Me at ease so I was okay with her continuing. She was correct. The caps were good.

My husband and I have been going to South Shore Dental for many years and have always been very satisfied with everything there. VERY clean (gleaming). They take extreme protective measures during COVID. Even now when mask bans have been lifted they require masks for all staff and patients until we are in an exam room. Staff is professional, courteous and friendly. We like that there are multiple specialties in the same practice. We've never encountered a problem with billing or insurance claims.

Visit was awesome! It was my first time, and I think I love it already. I was helped in a timely manner and I had time to address all my concerns. The cool thing is that I will have an appointment just with the actual dentist to address my concerns. I thought that was acutually cool. What I am use to is the hygenist doing the cleaning and dentist coming in for 2 mins, and dismiss you asap. Overall, I am looking forward to my 1 hr visit with the dentist. Thank you!

Dr. “V” is just the best! It always impresses me how he really takes the time to explain everything going on with my teeth and never rushes through when I ask him questions. He’s even drawn sketches for me before to help explain things. On my recent visit he brought me into the conference room and went through all my images in detail. They seem to have all the latest tech at the practice. I also love how he is straightforward about any problems but does not worry you about them either - I know he would never suggest I do any procedures that weren’t absolutely necessary. I know there’s plenty of dentists that are closer to where I live, but I’ll keep going there indefinitely!

Best dental office ever! I’ve referred many friends. My original hygienist Kathy moved away years ago, but her replacements are just as great. Many specialist in one office which makes life easier. I had a procedure one time and the specialist called in the evening to check up on me which was so unexpected. The front desk employees are so great and organized. I’ve only had great experiences here. I’ve moved about an hour away, but so worth it to stay at this office.

Julyana was very inappropriate with her communication. She belittled me three separate times during my visit for not having insurance, not wanting x-rays taken while pregnant and because it had been a year since being seen in office (which was due to my appointment being canceled on your end three times). It was so disappointing to be talked down to by someone who should be professional. She is a great hygienist but could use a huge lesson on communication. It honestly was so bad during my appointment I was starting to debate finding a new dentist.

I've been a patient at South Shore Dental for almost 10 years and have always had a pleasant experience. Even after moving out of Braintree, I have still continued to drive 45 mins in morning traffic to continue my care here. However, my last visit was awful. I received an email from the practice a few weeks prior stating my hygienist was going to be on vacation but that Michelle would be doing my cleaning. I was completely fine with that, as I've seen a few hygienists there over the years and all have been fantastic. I have never bled like that during a cleaning like that before. I tasted blood in my mouth the entire time and each time I rinsed the amount of blood was a bit shocking. The cleaning itself was painful and I'm still having tenderness in my gums four days later from Michelle hacking up my gums in two particular places. I've also never had a cleaning where the hygenist didn't floss my teeth at the end, but maybe they no longer do that there? What also really grossed me out was at the end when Michelle finished my cleaning, I sat up while Michelle typed up her notes and called the dentist into the room to examine my teeth. On the tray, there were several splotches of my blood on the white paper, as well as a piece of my blood covered skin still stuck to one of her tools! I'm not one for confrontation or awkward conversations so I let her re-book my next appt but as soon as I got home, I called the office and requested that I be switched to a different hygienist. Michelle mentioned that she had only been working there for three weeks, so perhaps she could use a little extra training and pay closer attention to her patient's comfort.

South Shore Dental is the best dentist office. My husband and I have been with them for at least 15 years. We even decide to stay with them when our dental insurance changed to out of network. They have several specialists and all of the staff is well-trained, experienced and super friendly. Their new office, opened shortly before Covid started, is modern, gorgeous and gleaming clean. We have no concerns going there as they practice better than any protocols for safety. We love Dr. Segura.

This was my first visit to South Shore Dental Group. I had selected Dr. Vessiropolous to be my primary dentist based on a referral and met with him. I had a cleaning, exam, complete x-rays, etc. My overall impression is 'what a pro shop!' Everyone that provided care today was very knowledgable and professional. The level of understanding that Dr. Vessiropolous was able to communicate to me regarding my overall situation and one specific area of need was at a level I am unfamiliar with. In other words, it was outstanding. I am very pleased with my selection of South Shore Dental Group.

We’ve been with Dr. Segura and the team for many years and stayed with SSD even after my dental insurance plan changed to one they don’t accept. It’s now out of network so it costs us a little more out of pocket. We wouldn’t think of changing dentists. The team is friendly and professional. Dr, Segura is awesome, gentle, and explains things thoroughly. We like that SSD is full service, with most specialties available there. And their new office is gorgeous, super clean and high-tech.

My appointment was at 3pm. I came in at 2:50 and checked in. I was asked to wait in my car until I was called which I did. At 3:20 I was still waiting in my car so I called to ask what's the hold up and was simply told that I will be called in shortly. When I got in, no apologies were offered for the lateness and when I asked I was told that she was waiting for the doctors so it's not her fault. The worst about it is that there was no communication, I was left outside waiting as if this is normal. I can guarantee that if I was 30 minutes late I would not be serviced. Why is their time more valuable than mine?

He’s is also the best!! He did my invisilines, and made my teeth perfectly straight!! I also see him for my TMJ jaw issues and he has helped correct that for me as well! My appointment happened the way I expected. Thanks to this disease I just missed my last important appointment in March. That appointment was to place my new crown on my prepared back tooth. Because of all the time lost the new crown didn't fit the tooth. My gums grew back covering the tooth. I have to start over again! My next appointment is for mid July because the disease is still affecting your staff. Also my next cleaning appointed slated in 2 weeks might be cancelled because no hygienists are coming back. I don't blame the South Shore office. I blame this disease and a lot of bad luck and timing!

I was having a cleaning w/Carol. She does a great job and has many years of experience. She discovered something and took x-rays that determined a crack in a tooth which was verified by Dr. Segura. After explaining my options, I decided to get a dental implant on that tooth. They were able to schedule my extraction with Dr. Pelham who comes in on Friday's. He is also outstanding, (root canals). Always a great dental and caring experience at south shore dental.

South Shore Dental Group is always timely and professional. They called me ahead of time to let me know that my regular hygienist was out, and asked if I would be willing to see someone else. They focus on creating a trusting relationship with their patients and are always transparent with dental options and interventions moving forward. I have seen two different hygenists that are both personable and friendly, and do a great job! I would (and have) highly recommended to all friends and family that live in the South Shore. They are also easily accessible, right off of the highway. 10/10 would recommend!

This is where I really needed SS Dental. I broke a tooth and needed to be seen on an emergency basis. I called Monday morning and was asked "How soon can you get in?" - now, that's responsive! Even though my own dentist (Dr Segura) was not in I was seen by Dr Joseph and his assistant (sorry, forgot the name) very quickly. He did a temporary repair, took photos, and said he would debrief to Dr Segura who I will see 3 days later. I am so pleased with the response from the SS Dental team. Thank you.

I think my Dentist is fantastic, she cares, she explains everything to me in detail which I greatly appreciate. She seems to be very good at what she does. The only issue I'm not a fan of is being told by admin that I have an outstanding balance, when I receive a bill, it is immediately paid, I understand that may be part of her role but I would assume if she looks at a patient's payment history she would see that every other bill was paid In full. I was told I had an outstanding balance on my last visit & that bill was paid more than 2 weeks before that visit, so not sure why your system is not calculating this information. Then when I was finished with my visit this past Monday, My dentist then read a note that admin placed on my file & asked me about my insurance? 1 thing I do not enjoy, is feeling that it is all about "the money" or imply anything to that that manner. I pay my bills in full not a problem, but just an fyi, my prior dentist gave me the cost of the crown "ahead of time", asked me if I wanted to make 3 or 4 partial payments if that made is easier for me, which I thought was superb client service, I did not need to make partial payments but at least I was asked & they cared enough.

Any time someone mentions needing to find a dentist I recommend you guys. My favorite thing about Dr. V is that he makes sure you completely understand everything that's going on with your care. He will draw a picture if needed - he truly wants the patient to be 100% informed. Amy is smart, quick, and obviously very good at her job. When she answers the phone I know my concerns are going to be addressed quickly and accurately, and if she says she's going to call me back I know that she actually will.

Dr. gave me an illustrative drawing to explain my issues were (very easy to understand!), her staff gave me a detailed estimation of cost, and the hygienist was very kind. I loved my first time experience there - such a different experience from my previous dentist visits.

My trip to SSDG was just as I like it, short, sweet, and yet, thorough. Steve did a great job on my teeth and was kind to my toddler who found her way to his office.

As always, South Shore Dental (Dr. Najjar) was fastidious towards my recent appointment for a double crown on right lower teeth. The appointment went over the scheduled time as she would not let me leave until the work was perfect and the temporary crown met my approval for comfort.

I have been happy with South Shore Dental Group since I started going there a couple of years ago. The dentists I have dealt with, their assistants and hygienists have been skillful, professional, courteous and friendly. The front desk people have been courteous and acommodating as well.
