The dental associates and front counter staff are always so kind and welcoming. Everyone there is very personable and professional. They do an amazing job cleaning my teeth. They also did an amazing job back when I had braces for 3 years, and also fixing a chip in my front tooth (color matching and shaping was done way better than the dentist I got the chip filling done at first, a long time ago). Most people hate going to the dentist, but if you’re going to JN dental associates, you’re put at ease.

I have been going to JN Dental Associates since we moved here from GA 7+ years ago. Dr. Vanderveen has always taken great care of me and my family. Our neighbors gave a high recommendation and we gave never gone to anyone else. My son moved to Sterling Heights and was unsatisfied with the dentist in his area so he continues to see Dr. Vanderveen and Dr. Jaddou, who joined the team over a year ago. I have been seeing Dr. Jaddou since he has started the team and he is an excellent fit!! He's very nice and also has a genuine concern for me and my family. My dental hygenist, Bonnie, whom I've seen for 7+ years, is AMAZING!! I highly recommend JN Dental Associates for family dentistry!!😊

Yesterday my quarterly periodontal cleaning along with measurements of any gum problems was completed. To my amazement all numbers had improved. My daily dental hygiene routine is paying off. 24 hours later my teeth still feel very, very clean.

i was very pleased with the hygienist. Debbie was personable and cleaned my teeth very well without poking my gums as sometimes happens with other people in her job. I originally changed from another dentist to Dr. Vanderveen, because the other guy seemed to do a lot more fillings than were actually needed. In contrast Dr Vanderveen always took the time to review the x-rays with me and explained why a procedure was required. When a dentist asks the hygienist about teeth they are "watching" and then tells you that tooth needs a new filling without new x-rays and without explaining his reasoning, this makes me suspicious.

Having recently moved here, I was looking for a new dentist. At the end of my teeth cleaning in Dec of 2022 I was informed there was a small cavity. A neighbor recommended you and I couldn’t be happier with your service and attention to detail. I appreciated that he took the time to take another X-ray, free of charge, to make sure there was no cavity.

Always, always, always friendly, professional and accommodating. Had some sensitivity in a tooth that quickly became severe. The Practice got me in quickly, diagnosed the problem (required an emergency root canal) and found me a local oral surgeon that same day.

Team VanderVeen uses modern technology to diagnose and treat my issues, with minimal discomfort. The administrative staff is polite and helpful scheduling appointments and working with my insurance carriers. The true measure of my satisfaction is a referral and I would highly recommend and have referred the VanderVeen team.

I'm very fortunate and blessed to have Dr. VanderVeen provide my dental care over 30 years. He and his staff, especially Becky who has been our hygienist for most of that time, have always provided excellent care. In emergency cases, which have been rare, they are available to alleviate any issues. I always enjoy returning to the office and the warm friendly staff knowing I'm in very good hands.

For the past 40 years My experience with my dentist was a great one. I started with Dr. Carl Bolten some 40 years ago then after he retired his son Richard took over the practice. In 2021 Dr. Richard Bolten retired. When first walking into Dr. Vanderveen’s dental office I immediately felt comfortable. The waiting area is very comfortable. The staff in the reception area are very friendly and helpful. They made me fell very welcomed and I immediately felt like I was back in my old dental office of 40 years. The dental hygienist was wonderful we immediately started talking and again I felt right at home and comfortable and then the dentist came in to examine my teeth and to introduce himself. Again I felt very comfortable. I am so thrilled to know I made the right decision for myself in choosing Dr. Vanderveen’s dental office it the right fit for me and I’m so excited! I would highly recommend this dental practice to my friends and family. So Happy!

I moved to this practice about a year and 1/2 ago at the suggestion of a friend. My previous dentist indicated I needed all kinds of work and was upset that I did not care about my teeth enough to take care of them. I did not care for my previous Dentists attitude nor the suggestion I was not not concerned more about my teeth then the dentist. With Scott VanderVeen I did not get the run around and surprise, I did not need any of the work my previous Dentist said I needed.

This was my first visit to Dr VanderVeen’s office. He was highly recommended to me by my husband who has gone there for the past 4 years. I had an attitude about dentists due to past experiences but made a much needed appointment. I am so glad I did!! I walked into a clean and cheerful office and was greeted promptly . It Took a few moments to fill out the paperwork and then my hygienist, Laura, came out introduced herself and brought me to her station, which was private. She was Professional, Upbeat, Friendly, Informative and Fun! She asked me if I had any concerns or issues with my teeth and explained what her process would be and she was willing to work within my time constraints. After my cleaning Dr VanderVeen came in and introduced himself. He was also very professional, knowledgeable, upbeat and friendly. We made a plan for my future dental work and Laura walked me to front desk for scheduling. Again friendly professional people. I walked out of the office, confident with my choice and smiling!

This is a great office for the whole family. Of all the dental offices I've been to in my life, this is by far the best. To give some backstory... Previous dental offices I've visited tried to push procedures and products on me and my husband which were drastic, expensive and unnecessary. My husband would have such bad experiences with cleanings and botched procedures that he actually started skipping semi-annual checkups. As our kids were approaching the age for dental visits we decided we needed a to find a practice where we could all feel comfortable and where we could be certain that we and our children would receive the best possible care. Thank goodness we found Dr. Vanderveen's office! The staff is very friendly and they make me and my family very comfortable from the moment we walk in the door. They are great with kids too. In fact, my kids actually look forward to their visits. My husband also feels comfortable visiting the dentist again. Dr. Vanderveen and the hygienists do a great job explaining what's going on with our dental health and they are very conservative and reasonable in their recommendations for procedures and products. So when they do recommend a procedure or product, I feel confident that it is both necessary and for the well being of myself or my family. There is no other practice I would trust with my family more than Dr. Vanderveen's office and I would recommend them to anyone.

I really appreciate that I can come in, get my teeth cleaned and not have anyone trying to "upsell" things. With all the things that come up in life (college expenses, car repairs, unexpected medical bills, a death in the family.....) teeth are pretty low on the list of importance. I just want to keep them healthy and not worry about problems that aren't there. Many dentists push more services that may not be crucial to the basic care that people can afford. Thank you again. I chipped a tooth but it wasn't an emergency so I scheduled my appointment for a week later. The staff was very pleasant and helpful in getting me scheduled as quickly as possible. I got put on the list for last minute cancellations and was called a couple of times during the week but couldn't coordinate it with work so had to keep my original appointment time. I had to have a crown done and was very nervous since it was my first one. The entire staff was very pleasant and compassionate during the entire procedure. Dr. V was awesome and made me comfortable by explaining everything from beginning to end. Kudos to everyone!! I think Dr. Vanderveen and his staff is the best dental office around from top to bottom.

My wife and I have been going to Dr. Vanderveen for close to 25 years, since he started his practice. The care we have received and that of our two sons has been nothing short of outstanding. When emergencies arise, his office works you into their schedule immediately. I am extremely happy with the dental care provided by Dr. VanderVeen and his staff. I greatly appreciate his conservative approach, only recommending procedures when absolutely necessary. I left my previous dentist because the practice was purchased by one of the local chains, and the new young dentists there constantly tried to push expensive procedures which were not required. Laura, my hygienist, is extremely friendly and thorough in her cleaning and inspection of my teeth and gums. All the office staff are also top notch. I heartily recommend Dr. VanderVeen and his team.

Wouldn't change a thing. Staff is cordial, Dr. VanderVeen is very relaxed, does a fine job on making you comfortable, takes the time to explain your options and does excellent dental work. Fortunately, I was referred to him on an emergency first visit; I was so impressed and pleased to have finally found a professional caring Dentist. Dr. does a good job, especially on serious dental issuse I rate this Doctor a 10.

The receptionists are always so friendly when I enter the office. They make sure to greet to me and check me in promptly. The dental assistants call your name with a smile when it is your turn. They are always kind and personal with me. When I have been at the office for extended times for longer procedures they always make sure that I have what I need. Dr. Vanderveen is personable and takes time with me every time I am in. He makes sure that all of my questions are answered and that I know the next step in dental care. The office is very flexible with appointment times and changing appointments. Someone even came in early one day to fit me in.
