Have always had a great experience until yesterday. The new provider I was assigned had zero social skills and implied there was no need for testing my rheumatologist orders every year because I am “NOT petite”. Also could not communicate with office staff with out stumbling over words . Seemed knowledgeable about the actual eye-, but assume he is “ on the spectrum or neurodivergent” . It was uncomfortable. Will ask to see a different provider next year or go to a different clinic.

I wonder into this clinic 15 years ago, I had something blow into my eye and was far from home, they took me right in, it was complete relief. My doctor helped to put a contact over the injured eye and healed overnight. My trust for everyone in this clinic helped me to decide that I would drive 45 mins to receive the same care, they have never failed me. Thank you.

My appointment was prompt and thorough. All my questions were answered and there was no pressure to buy new glasses. (although I did because my old ones were worn out.) Help picking out frames was available, but not annoying. When I decided on frames, all the options for lenses was explained without pressure to get features I did not want. Over all a good experience.

The clinic needs to discuss with the patient their plans for being driven home after dilation. I am 70 years old and drove from Northfield. I was so blinded by the light, even with sunglasses, that I barely made it home. My eyes burned and sight was compromised all the way until after 5 p.m.

Dr Gustafson and staff have made every effort to work with me to get me fitted with the correct frames and lenses. My wife and I have used a number of Richie Eye Clinic services, including cataract and also day-outpatient surgeries, in recent years. The entire staff is knowledgeable, cordial, and supportive. The facilities are excellent; modern, and spotless. Appointment times are as accurate and prompt as can be expected in a fluid time setting. Procedures are explained in a professional and thorough manner in lay persons language. The comfort level as a client here is wonderful. We have been recommending this clinic for 3-4 years.

My lasik experience was amazing! Dr. Richie is so genuine and makes all the fears go away. I was most afraid of the actual procedure. They had a nurse in the room that her sole job was to focus on me, remind me to breath, and held my hand. The surgery was quick and painless. Richie Eye Clinic had such a clean process and procedures that I felt at ease the entire time I was there. They spent quality time answering all my questions and did not rush me through the process. I have had ,except for last year, regular eye check ups when I have my annual physical. So information was not available for you to have information. I was very surprised when an apptointment.for a year from now was made. I was not given a copy of my prescription. I was not asked if I wanted to pick out new glasses, but was assumed. I spent my time there and everyone was polite. In my past experience I have felt very comfortable with procedures that were going to happen.

I was asked to create a profile for the online portal, but the information that I most wanted, my prescription, was unavailable. I find this to be extremely odd. I will not create a profile because of this. The woman who started out my visit was very good and friendly. She explained things very well. The Doctor, Dr. Malmanger spoke very quickly, seemed to be upset with me for asking questions, didn't practice active listening, and in the end, I left feeling as though I didn't get my questions answered, and do not feel comfortable that my prescription is even correct. Very frustrating. I will not come back to this clinic.

The staff and the doctors at Richie eye clinic are helpful and friendly. They answer my questions, explain the difference tests I need to have done and always make sure I understand the results. Always a great visit. Everyone is professional and kind. Picking out new glasses was painless, the support of the team made this daunting task fun. Thank you for always taking care of me. It was kind of funny how I found this clinic, while working in the area I scratched my eye. Desperate to find relief, Crossroads was not for from the job site. In less then 10 mins I was no longer in pain. I have continued to drive 40 mins to be seen at this clinic.

I can't say enough about Richie Eye Clinic, the staff and Drs. are all so wonderful and take time with every patient walking in. I looked around and listened when I came into the clinic and the people checking patients in to the people helping with glasses was a very calming atmosphere. Thank You to Dr. Misti who wanted to get another Dr. for a 2nd opinion, I am always comfortable walking into this office. I have recommended this eye clinic to many people. Thank You Dr. Richie for the visit today and his professionalism and knowledge of eyes that gave me comfort knowing I was in good hands. Thank You everyone!

Dr. Ritchie was awesome. I am very disappointed with Dr. Purferrest. We spoke with her on the weekend, and by her input we did not go in until Monday morning, this was Saturday at 1100am. My son had a detached retina. My husband said my son mentioned a yellow color in the field of his vision. She noted that this was probably his lens passing in the way. When Dr. Ritchie noted on Moday that this was the viterius leaking. So the ophthalmologist is great, concerned about on call service. I know there is always the emergency room here, but I have reservations about the care in the ER.
