I was sent from Peoria office regarding my glasses and I got regular glasses, they charged me for progressive glasses. I will never more back to Prime Eye Care offices, or someone form my family. When I was first time I was satisfied with your services and I recommended Prime Eye Care office to my son and my husband. After my last visit I want to tell you by from me and by from my son and husband we will never more back in Prime Eye Care offices.

I submitted the glassware request two weeks after it I got them while trying at the store I noticed it does not have correct lenses power , so we resubmitted it for a fix . After one more week when I followed up I.e. after three weeks waiting for glasses for my daughter someone on phone is saying we cannot expedite if you want you can take your refund .. not expecting this from you guys .

Quality Care and Service, our visit was very well and caring. We were given great care from our receiving physician and from the doctor. I also appreciated that, when the doctor mistook the kiddos name and pronouns and we corrected him, that he was very kind and respectful and addressed him by his name thereafter. That quality of of care and respect for persons is incredibly important, incredibly kind, and we were both grateful for that experience. We were also given all of options and how/why those options weee helpful to us. For example, the kiddo has been having headaches that were not initially brought up, and the doctor thought to ask which led to finding out he needed glasses more than we had previously been made aware of. That asking about life/body things outside of “can you read these letters” is really going to make a difference for this kiddo’s overall health and well-being, and that kind of intersectional/whole-person healthcare is extremely important to quality of life and quality of care. Thanks, and please keep up the good work.

From the moment I made the appointment through the examination, the entire staff was professional, approachable, and friendly. Dr. Baier was very nice and thorough. I waited almost two months after my exam for my RGP to come in. When I went to pick them up I tried them on and I could not see out of them. The doctor checked my vision with the new lenses in and she was unapologetic and rude. It didn't make any sense when I asked her to explain what happened. They will have to order a new prescription and I was told I would be waiting another 4-6 weeks for the new lenses. I asked the staff why it took so long since I have never waited this long in the past. I was asked where I had gotten my lenses from and I told them it was the same office (Clarendon) with Dr. Smith. The staff didn't apologize or seem to care about the situation and didn't offer any other solutions- perhaps put a rush on the order for the new lenses or use a different manufacturer.

I would rated 3 because the wait time in the room to see the doctor was to long. They need to work on the time. I waited over 20 mins before she came in. After I saw the doctor I had to wait again over 15 minutes for the assistant to do a test on my eyes. This was too long to sit in a room. Need to work on improving when a patient is in the back room to be tested.

Everything in-office was great. I was referred with a condition that needed immediate evaluation, which it was quickly diagnosed, and, to my surprise, treated with a laser procedure that very morning. Fingers crossed, my visit to your office saved me from the experience of retinal detachment. The staff and Dr. Kayser were kind and professional. Once the laser treatment was done; however, patient care ended abruptly. That aspect of the practice should be improved. I did not go in thinking I'd be undergoing a laser procedure, and consequently, did not have good questions in mind, as I was shown the door. After leaving, it occurred to me that I did not receive any post-treatment instructions to take home with me, which struck me as unusual. Could I use eye drops, was it OK to take NSAID? No guidance. My impression from Dr. Kayser was that I my eyes would appear red and puffy for up to 2 weeks, but not to worry, that was normal. I also had the impression that I would not experience any post treatment pain. After trying to rest a couple of hours, I was troubled by both pain and the appearance of my treatment site. The right side of my face ached, and my right eye felt bruised and sore, with an odd sensation of pressure. The bottom right portion of my eye looked like melting gelatin. I called the office and a desk clerk told me that everything sounded normal. I felt my concerns were being dismissed rather than addressed. So, I asked if I could send a picture via email. Reluctantly, she gave me the email of a tech named Tyler. I sent him some photos and my concerns at 2:00 yesterday. Coming up on 24 hours later, I have received no reply. Sending this survey to me is NO substitute for follow-up care. I suggest, as a matter of course, you should adopt a policy that a PA or nurse contact patients within 24 hours of any significant treatment. But at a minimum, someone should respond directly to patient concerns. Follow up is part of the job

My glasses broke and a replacement pair was ordered. I had to wait a week to come in for a 5 minute appointment because you don't allow walk-ins under any circumstances and there were no appointments until that time. It's really ridiculous I had to have non-functional glasses a week later than was necessary (they had come in) because of such a dumb policy (management decision). Last time I was in to get my vision checked I waited an hour to be seen (with an appointment I arrived on time for). Clear to me this location doesn't value the customer experience and other people would be happy to take my business.

Staff is very efficient and thorough. Dr. Smith does a first rate exam and refraction(staff preps, but he does the refraction) and exam, including examination of the retina at the margins, peripheral vision, and ocular pressure to detect glaucoma. Couldn't be more pleased.

As a first time customer I am overall impressed! Although I happened to show up very early for my appointment, like most places, I was expecting a wait past my scheduled appointment time. Instead, to my surprise, I was checked in as soon as I arrived and was able to see the eye doctor shortly there after. All the staff was very nice and the doctor was very through and answered all my questions. Absolutely, a place I would highly recommend to family and friends! They had a good selection of glasses frames to choose from, but I wish there were even more options to choose from. This would be my only "not so positive" observation. Otherwise, A++ all across the board!

I had a pretty good pre-appointment experience. Booking the appointment was pleasant and so was a subsequent follow up call. The day of the appointment I was running late and called the office to let them know. Whomever answered the phone was a little rude and seemed put out by the call. I was hold they had a ten minute grace period. I rushed to make it. When I got there half of the staff was in the hall socializing and there was one other person in the area. Didn’t seem busy at all. The check in process was pleasant and the clinician that did my vitals and intake was lovely. The doctor was fine. I had to schedule a follow up visit and wasn’t asked when would be convenient for me. I was just told when to return. Overall the experience was average.

Doctors and staff are amazing. But I continue having a problem with the glasses that I purchased here last year. Between insurance and my payment they cost me almost $400.00. When I went to pick them up they were not right, I was told to just get used to them. I came back once again saying I could not see using them and again told you will get use to them. Well that never happened, I did not come back again as Covid had shut down the office and time just went by and those glasses just sat in their case. They are bifocals and they have been totally useless. In March and April of 2021 on my two visits to the office I again mentioned this issue and the way it sounded is that they would address the issue, but nothing further was done. This year again I was given another prescription but right now I really don't want to go thru this again ordering them from you, plus my insurance only covers glasses every other year.

The front staff is so friendly and welcoming. They call me to let me know of any cancellations and are always prepared with what I need for my visit. The office is clean and organized. They are helpful, they assisted a friend of mine getting replacements contacts while here on vacation and lost his contacts. Usually have a great experience but after buying two new pair of glasses and having to bring them back 3 times because the lenses were made incorrectly no real effort was made to remedy the situation and trying a 4th time seemed futile so I asked for a return, which they did. They are nice but I will probably find a new optometrist since after the return, and I did make it perfectly clear I’d be happy to purchase the frames again if they can get the issue resolved), I’ve not heard from anyone regarding offering any options or an apology. To me that’s bad business.

All the time Doc check up and following order the frame in one service but if there in a chance in process the it should have been told to us. I made an appointment at Prime Eye Care because I have been having trouble seeing clearly. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They are very cautious for keeping us safe from Co Vid/Corona Virus. The doctor I saw did a thorough examination of my eyes and wrote me a prescription. I am not someone that has ever wore glasses so I was a bit insecure about if the would look good on me too. The optician was very patient with me and helped me find the right pair of frames that actually made me look good. I went with the Joseph Aboud frames. They have so many good brands there I plan on getting a pair of Ray Bans prescription sunglasses for when I am out and about hiking etc. Once I selected the right pair I waited about 10 days before they were ready. Daniel from Prime Eye Care called and set up the appointment for the glasses to be fitted. Once again he took the time to make sure they were fitted and adjusted correctly. I am doing really good with them and they are really helping with my health and vision. I really appreciate the very good experience I received at Prime Eye Care. Thank you!

The front office staff and technician was wonderful and helpful. The doctor I say was unfortunately not. He was short to give explanation for his actions, physically moved my head without permission, dilated my eyes without permission and held my head to the chair and tried to take out my contact lens with his bear hands. I felt unsafe, uncomfortable and will never see him again.

When my insurance prohibited me from seeing my previous optometrist, I dreaded the search for a replacement. Somehow, throughnword of mouth, I got lucky and stumbled onto Prime Eye Care and Dr Smith at the Clarendon facility. I knew immediately I was in good hands. I’ve tried the “big box, big name” stores with much less than stellar reviews. At these places, I’ve been given the wrong prescription, not even close. I don’t want anyone fooling around with my eyes. I am very happy with the care I am receiving with Dr Smith.

I have given this place several attempts because I understand how things happen. My last visit was more of the same I arrived on time for my appointment where I proceeded to wait 30 min past my appointment time. Working in the customer service industry if I was late for my clients I wouldn't have any. They have lost my. Business and like I said I have given them several opportunities and the same happens. I have also attempted to purchase frames from there as well and each time I was not able to see the person in charge. The first time she was not in the 2nd she was busy (understandable) 3rd time I called and they assured me she was in and when I got there she was not there. I don't keep my clients waiting and expect to be treated with respect to my time as well.
