Excellent practice where you are in good hands. I came to Paolucci Family Dentists because I was new to town and had a dental issue -- I saw both Dr. Kaufman and Dr. Paolucci and both took my issue seriously, took time to talk to me about what was going on, and made me feel like they genuinely wanted to make sure that everything was resolved.

The things/ people I love about the office is dental hygienist Denise Delricci best ever never feel pain she pays attention to my squinting eyes. Then there is Dr Hali Kaufman she is always pleasant. I notice how professional she is extremely polite to the techs and always willing to teach them. Both have great chair side manner. As a patient it is so they listen, give me time to explain myself and always willing to accommodate my quirks. Love them both and have my entire family coming there. I do recommend to friends also

I have been a patient of Dr. Anthony Paolucci and his colleagues for maybe 25 years. Although the practice is not geographically convenient to where I live, I would never leave this practice. There is always someone on call. One time I had an abscess and Dr. Paolucci contacted a surgeon on off hours and I was promptly treated. I see Dr. Kaufman on a regular basis and she is amazing. The dental hygienists are great, the office staff are pleasant and efficient. Marie has everything running like a fine tuned clock!

It was an AWESOME Experience! I found this Dental Practice when i searched Google for the Best Dentists in RI and Paolucci kept coming up so i chose the. The person who cleaned my teeth was great and went into detail about what my x-rays said and explained the process of what she was going to do. I went in for a filling replacement and the dentist accidentally stabbed my muscle while putting the Novocain in. Naturally, I jumped, making the dentist jump and they stabbed themselves with the needle. Everyone was a little tense for the whole procedure after that.

Dr. Steven Brown referred me to Dr. Kauffman due to jaw & lower teeth being removed due to a jaw tumor. My first impression of the staff and Dr. Kauffman caught me off guard! I was nervous, forgot to take my antibiotic, and I immediately went into anxiety!. Dr. Kauffman assured me they would reschedule the cleaning for next week, everything was ok, and she would complete her evaluation today. This is the first stress-free appointment with a dentist I have ever experience. Thank you to Dr. Kauffman and staff. :-) Pam Ware

Went for my cleaning and was told there was a charge of $20, never paid for a cleaning before, I was told I am out of network, My wife and 2 daughters go to another dentist and did not have to pay the additional $20. Was not told when I recieved the call to confirm my appt, that there was a rate increase and I would be responsible for the cost not covered, After 15 years of being a patient I will be going to another dentist in the future.

I've been a patient at this office for a little over a year. I have had nothing but positive experiences with this practice. The staff are all friendly and have done a great job of putting me at ease and making sure I'm comfortable. The front office staff even took it upon themselves to do some research on my insurance coverage and discovered that I can in fact have a much-needed implant covered, and referred me to Dr. Livson (part of their practice in a different office), who is excellent and will be providing the implant early next year. The hygenists are fantastic... thorough, personable, and not TOO aggressive. Dr. Kaufman is kind an inspires great confidence. I also very much appreciate that they offer appointments late in the afternoon, as this means I don't have to take time off from work. After a number of very negative experiences with other Rhode Island dentists, I am so thankful that I found Paolucci Family Dentistry!

I was told that I needed some work on my crown. I was given an appointment. I was called to change the appointment, I did. Then I was called again to change the appointment, I did. I took time off work to go to the appointment and when I got there the dentist who looked at my tooth said, its fine. So the jerking around with appointment times was not bad enough. The scheduling and rescheduling of taking of time off work after getting jerked around was not enough. Then your office had the BALLS to charge me over $60 for telling me that there was nothing wrong. Yes I'm Pissed ! And very seriously thinking about changing dental professionals. A refund for such convoluted service would be the least that is expected.

I was very upset. This is the second appointment in a row where the wait was not acceptable.Alexis had a 310 appt at 350 she was still in waiting room. The appt before that one was even worse. When we got there we were told doctor was running late and the wait would be more than 1 hour. Both times I got her out of school early. For nothing! Plus it takes us 45 minutes to get there! But one time we were late because of an accident on the freeway and I called on our way that we would be late. Well when we got there we were 15 minutes late and they would not take her! I guess my time is not valueable!

The service was very good at my appointment for the cleaning and exam. I would like a better idea of the crown procedure and out-of-pocket costs to me. After much deliberation, and a follow-up phone call, I was told a pre-treatment estimate would be submitted. This is very important as this could be a significant cost for me and I may have to consider other options.

I have been attended by this practice for nearly 30 years. The office staff is amazing. Dr. Paolucci made sure I was treated on weekend. He spent his entire Saturday lining up a surgeon to see me for an for a terrible infection. Dr. Kaufman is terrific and an "artist" whether it's fixing a broken tooth or making a new crown. I would never go anywhere else!

I had an amazing experience with Stacia, my hygienist. My standards are very high, as a patient coming from one of the country's best and the most clinically advanced and prestigious dental practice in Boston. Stacia was thorough, conscientious and obsessed with making sure she got my teeth 100% clean. Everyone was devoted, fun, friendly and accommodating. I have no dentist experience yet with Dr. P yet, but I was recommended to this practice by a family that has multiple members and three generations of experience with the practice and have great teeth. The practice also came recommended from some folks in the general area who can pretty much go wherever they want for services. I read up on the dentists. I like the Tufts Dental School fiber of the practice, and that is what led me there to evaluate it in the first place. I am a dental nut. I was very impressed with the history of the practice, the profiles of the dental staff, my experience and the setting itself.

The appointment reminders sometimes are overwhelming. Most times I get several text messages, an e-mail, and a phone call from staff, even after confirming. This was my first root canal, and being a biologist, I would have enjoyed Dr. Marucki explaining each step of what he was doing. I'm sure some folks would HATE that and prefer utter silence (neither Dr. Marucki or the assistant said a word during the whole hour). The assistant answered all my questions afterwards (what was he doing with this, what was he doing when this was happening, etc.) Probably for most folks, "Silence is Golden" however....

Dr Mirucki is an excellent endodontist. During the procedure, I felt totally taken care of, and could tell that he was a true craftsman. He was great at explaining everything to me as he worked on my root canal, and saying things to keep me relaxed. After the procedure, he went over everything and patiently answered all my questions. My only feedback is that I was so nervous about the shot that I would have preferred a more calm environment in the room (no rock music on the radio). Also, Dr Mirucki was at first very high energy when he introduced himself, so that made me more nervous. But he was great at listening and we got through it fine. In spite of this, I would definitely go back to Dr Mirucki. He knows his profession and did an excellent job! I'd also like to add that Evelyn was my hero as well. She held my hand while I got the shots and was very comforting. I know she was there to assist Dr Mirucki, but she helped me keep it together too.

As it turns out the young dentist, who saw me for the most recent post-cleaning check-up and said I needed to come in to see Dr. K to have a filling re-done, was wrong. So I ended up scheduling time off of work for no good reason (other than to have a nice chat with Dr. K. So, not a TOTAL loss). Still, that was weird and a waste of my afternoon but...I hope my insurance isn't charged for the visit.

Marie is very helpful in explaining my insurance coverage and payments. She does her best to accommodate my schedule, when I make appointments. Dr Kaufman takes the time to answer all my questions respectfully and patiently. I do get frustrated with the frequency of cavities in my mouth; especially since I take good care of my teeth and since I haven't experienced any discomfort, but Dr Kaufman had me look at the x-ray and explained that we can wait to fill the cavity, but it's better to fill it when it's small, before it has a chance to spread to the root. She is a great dentist! Her assistant on 2/3/2016 was considerate and took the time to explain what was to take place on that visit, which I really liked.

When I first came the this practice, what was really appealing to me was that home feel and face to face one on one. Now for something reason something shifted, I do enjoy the text message reminders of my appointments but I used to actually like when someone called me, the easy of maybe switching my appointment right there was more convenient. I also see that the practice has a Facebook page which it didn't before and this I think separated human interaction even more. I see that you are trying to stay up in technology and such, but at what cost?
