I had a micro dermabrasion. I’ve had many in the past, I didn’t feel she did very much with the wand ( guess you call it). I told her to crank it up jokingly meaning let me feel like I got my moneys worth. She only did alittle here and there. She was nice I just didn’t feel like I got a treatment

I absolutely recommend Dr Malik and her staff. I’ve been coming here for years and am always impressed and satisfied. Not only do you receive a professional experience in any procedure you are having done, you also feel pampered. I love the waiting room too, featuring items and products for home pampering and gift giving as well. The essential oils smells amazing. Receiving a warm calming essential oil towel prior to my service was definitely beneficial. Another thing…important to add…I absolutely love that they have found a way to make the expense of services so easy. So much less expensive than anyone nearby and now with their clubs to make it even more affordable. So grateful to have this in our area.

The staff & Dr Pooja were very professional and respectful. I also loved my little unexpected gift they gave me when I checked in. I thought this was a sweet gesture. I loved that there were Toys for Tots collection boxes in the office. This is an excellent charity program. Dr Poojah works quickly and does a great job. Discounts are applied and I don't have to ask. The office ambience had a good feel; not noisy or too crowded & had soft neutral colors. All of this makes for a very postive visit.

I have been to the practice for botox and extremely happy with Dr. Malik and her approach and placement of botox. However, I am pregnant and called to see what treatments I can do during pregnancy and was told only hyrdafacial. I scheduled my much needed appointment on a stressful day only to arrive and be told I can’t get the hydra facial while pregnant. I have had them at other practices while pregnant so I was very disappointed I was given wrong info and unable to receive any treatment. I did call to get a refund on my deposit which they did right away.

The whole experience was positive! I walked in feeling self conscious about my skin (went there to talk about chemical peels to help reduce the appearance of dark spots and discoloration due to acne) and I left feeling understood and more confident. I’m not sure the job title of Kayla, who did my consultation, but she was very knowledgeable about the different kinds of chemical peels and took the time to really know me and my skin. Overall, I’m excited to begin this journey and know that Malik Medical Asthetics will always provide a positive environment.

Woman at front desk was friendly. Woman who did the consultation wasn’t rude, but was abrupt. She didn’t even look at my face/skin, so I’m not even sure why I needed to do an in-person consultation. The whole thing was only a few minutes. At the end, she didn’t walk me toward the lobby or point me in the right direction. She just went into a room where other staff were hanging out. The initial visit plus the high cost left me uninterested in returning.

The outside of the building looks fine. The inside smelled very good but needs a lot of work. The first thing I noticed were large totes everywhere that looked as if they needed to be unpacked. The next thing I noticed was there were no people of color working in the office. While it seems as though the doctor is a minority; none are working in the office or at least while I was there. I checked in and was told to have a seat. Once my name was called, I immediately went in a room and what appeared to be a tech told me to have a seat. She never introduced herself, weighed me, or took vitals. She was very quick to tell me that the program was $3,000. I explained that I did not want b12 shots or vitamins as I already take supplements. I also explained that I only wanted the medical shot and that my own doctor charges $800 per month. I wanted to get their pricing. The tech explained the program was all or nothing. I chose nothing. I would think that some money would be better then no money. I left never having met a doctor. The whole thing was just strange. I felt as though actual medical care and safety was not a concern.

I realize this wasn't a surgical center, but I did expect a certain level of cleanliness. To my left as I was checking in was an overflowing trashcan. "Overflowing" is not an exaggeration. Trash was literally overflowing. The waiting room was crowded with black and yellow storage tubs. The chairs were wedged between these tubs. I felt like I was waiting in a storage closet. The whole place had a unclean, haphazard vibe. It made me very uncomfortable. No thanks. I try to find a cleaner establishment to get my treatments.

This was my first visit to Malik Medical Aesthetics and although it’s too soon to see the results of my Botox treatment as I write this review less than 24 hours later , I have a lot of confidence in Dr. Malik. I had concerns which were discussed initially with Tina and I felt heard. I think that’s very important when going to any doctor’s office. Those concerns were also covered again, in detail , with solutions and options with Dr. Malik. I will be back for future treatments for sure!

They explained things to me, comforted me during the process (nurse rubbing my shoulder 😁) and had squeeze balls for the tougher moments. Wow! I’ve been coming to Malik Medical since 2018 and can honestly say the practice has only gotten better over time. I don’t trust anyone else with my face and will continue traveling from the DMV area to receive this top tier service. My lips are sensitive and I expressed this to Tina, the tech, and Dr Malik. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure I was completely numb and the injections were painless. It feels to good to be heard in a doctors office and when it can eliminate pain, it means the world! Not to mention, everyone was just so kind and had great energy. Dr. Malik and her staff are fantastic. Director Tina is a gem and Dr. Malik is so lucky to have her. She can suggest services without making you feel like you need them better than anyone I've ever met and they never try to sell you on products. You get just what you asked for! Dominique is the most gracious, wonderful person I've had during my visits in the practice. She makes you comfortable just by her inviting and engaging personality. I tell everyone I know about Malik MA and I know I've sent in at least six new patients who love it there now too. I have been a patient of Dr. Malik's since 2014. I can honestly say that I have never had a bad experience. From the office staff to Dr. Malik everyone is friendly and knowledgeable. My experience with Dr. Malik as a skin care provider has always been amazing. My face fillers and Botox always look natural and when she tells you what you need- just listen. Over the years I have always been pleased with my results. I often go in when I need a refresh thinking I need to get one area done but she will suggest a different area. When the swelling and bruising go away I can see why she did the area she said needed it. I have learned and now I just ask her what she thinks I need. She is an artist that knows how to balance your features. My newest experience with Dr. Malik is hormone therapy. I had my first visit yesterday. Talk about thorough. She goes over all you bloodwork and tailors a plan specifically to your needs. She explained how my levels that were either too high or too low impacted my cognitive functions, mood, sleep and energy. Everything she went over I was experiencing. I have taken some of the supplements and already feel more energetic and clear headed. I am waiting for my prescriptions to be filled and eager to start them. I would highly recommend Dr. Malik to anyone.

I had my very first experience with Botox and filler with Dr. Malik and I am so very happy with everything! Having recently turning 50 and loosing a little over 100 lbs I felt I needed a little pick me up. Her staff is amazing. I felt welcome and had every question answered with great skill. Malik is up to date in all areas! The staff are ready and willing to help and answer any questions. Their Covid protocol is current. And the rooms are clean. I came in to have liquid nose filler, I felt really comfortable while waiting for Dr. Malik. She was quick and thorough but I just wish she would’ve explained the procedure to me a little bit more before starting, it seemed like she didn’t care what i had to say but only cared to get pictures and videos for her instagram. I will return because In the end she did a great job and I am happy with the results.

Everyone was pleasant except for the woman who found my file and took my payment. She did not have a friendly tone when I was asking her questions about my account and procedure. I have never had anyone less than pleasant before so I was a bit taken back by her. Dr. Malik did a wonderful job again on my Botox.

This was my 1st at Malik Medical Aesthetic. And my 1st time having anything done to my face. The team was very welcoming from the moment I walked in the door. I had my consult with Alexandra (Allie). She was great. She explained everything to me. And made me feel comfortable. Dr Pooja Malik was great as well. I was very satisfied with my services and the friendly office staff/ assistants. I think I found my new addiction. I will definitely be back.
