I always feel extremely well taken care of during my visits, Dr. Lyons listens to my questions or concerns she makes sure she addresses everything before the appointment is over. Everyone in the office is extremely friendly and patient, you really feel welcome from the checkin all the way through when you leave. Dr. Lyon gave me the bad news as good news: I could have an operation and fix my cataract or just get stronger glasses each year. My choice. She listed pros both for waiting and operating now. Absolutely no pressure, but answers for all my questions. She listened well and also explained well.

Great service in the time of Covid! Needed a new pair of glasses. Lyons Optometry had repaired my last pair at a reasonable cost, so I made an appointment to have them provide a new pair. Went in on a Friday, going through the normal Covid screening. They were very concientious about cleaning their work area. They have a large selection of frames and I was able to select the pair that I wanted in just a few minutes. Great staff, great customer service.

Dr. Lyons has been my optometrist for a few years now. I have seen her for annual check ups, new glasses, and an eye infection. The service is always excellent and everyone is friendly. The glasses I have obtained from her have been the best I've ever had. I have confidence in Dr. Lyons. This last visit was different due to the pandemic and I felt quite comfortable with the protocols they have in place to keep staff and patients safe.

The office staff is absolutely amazing!! I got my fist pair of computer lenses. Omg! I can see!! I can wear these around the house to and from my computer and see perfectly . Best option and solution to my vision struggles. I had never heard of this lense and was so happy that they suggested per my troubles and concerns with previous lenses. I went from 3 pairs of glasses to one! One and done! I love how clean and professional the office was. Especially during Covid! I had seen some sun glasses on my way out. Was interested so they sent me a few quotes on those too. Everyone is so nice and I felt comfortable asking questions regarding my insurance coverage and my options. How many can say Dr. Lyons literally saved their life? Ii can. I recently contracted diabetes, and it affected my vision. I had no idea at the time. Dr. Lyons did an extensive evaluation and recognized the symptoms, sent me immediately to my doctor, who diagnosed me with an extremely hi g.i. number an began treatment. I'm forever grateful.

I found Dr. Kimberly Lyons out of frustration with my former Dr.s. I have Kaiser & therefore saw a different Dr each time I went. I started having trouble with dry eyes shortly before being diagnosed with Sjogren's syndrome. Over time during my eye exams I asked each Dr. what can I do about my dry eyes. When pressed there was the shrug & I was told to try an eye drop. It felt like I didn't matter. They where just looking at my eye glass prescription & not my eye health. I then turned to Dr. Kimberly Lyons & WOW, what a difference! After an examination we talked about my options & from there came up with a plan. From punctal plugs to prescription eye drops, nighttime eye ointment, sleep goggles, supplements, life style changes etc. Our aim is for healthier eyes, not just mask a symptom. I'm going on 8 months now with Dr. Lyons & I'll stay with her forever! It doesn't matter if you live next door or 100 miles away, Dr. Lyons is worth the drive. The amazing staff & great eye wear selection is the icing on the cake!

Just had my first visit to Dr. Lyons as a new patient. I'm very impressed and looking forward to her taking care of my optometry needs in the future. She is knowledgeable, friendly and very hands-on around the office. As I was checking in and providing my insurance information the front desk told me they did not accept my insurance. I looked into this before making the appointment and started to express my disappointment over this development. Within just a few minutes, Dr. Lyons appeared, introduced herself to me with a smile, and instructed the receptionist about a couple of places to check on the insurance. They found what they needed and we were good to go. Dr. Lyons personally handled every aspect of my vision check and explained everything I needed to know about each. As of now, she has referred me for cataract surgery and postponed prescribing and fitting new glasses. I will be back after the surgery to complete the process.

My experience at Dr. Lyons office was everything you could want from an eye doctor. From the moment I called I knew I was in good hands. I had just moved to Santa Rosa and realized that not only was I out of contacts, but that my prescription was expired. They were able to squeeze me in the very same week. When I arrived, the lady who checked me in was very polite and the doctor was up to see me within a few minutes. The entire check up was thorough but also quick, which I appreciated. The doctor was definitely only seeing me which was a nice change from feeling like you're being juggled by previous providers. Dr. Lyons answered all my questions and was really warm and welcoming. She seems to genuinely to care about her patients and their wellbeing. I didn't have time to look at glasses that day, but her front office staff explained my insurance information to me in terms of what is covered and what was a better deal with savings (contacts vs glasses). I purchased my contacts that day and will be back to order glasses. A seamless experience all in all. I feel so lucky that I found Dr. Lyons and her amazing staff.

I came in for a consultation for lasik eye surgery. I was early so the young lady who checked me in cleaned & tightened my glasses while I waited. That's a service I have not seen in years. During my exam Dr. Lyons explained in detail what to expect from lasik eye surgery, what make a good candidate & answered all of my questions. When Dr. Lyons told me my eyes were very dry I thought that was it but she had many options available to me to improve my eye's health. We went over eye drops, medication, supplements, punctal plugs, etc. By the end of my appointment we had a plan already put into action. Now almost 2 weeks later I'm seeing & feeling the results & I love it. Whether I have the lasik procedure in the future or not Dr. Lyons now has another loyal lifelong patient.

From the moment I dropped in to inquire about an appointment Dr. Lyons front desk staff was warm and welcoming, professional and polite. And they all have such fun loving senses of humor. They checked out my insurance information and scheduled a convenient appointment. Meeting Dr. Lyons was just as pleasant. She immediately made me feel at ease and as though I were a long time patient even though it was only my first appointment with her. My eye exam and trial fitting for contact lenses was easy and efficient. So happy to have finally found my long term eye doctor!

I always enjoy going to Lyons Optometry because the service is top notch and the people are so wonderful. Every charge is explained and the purpose behind each part of the exam is always given. Every effort is made to insure my glasses fit properly and that my contacts are comfortable. As for frames, they have a great selection and if you have a firm price range (as I did) they respect that and only show you frames within the range. I don't live in Northern California anymore, but I visit a few times a year and save my eye visit for when I'm back just so I can go to Lyons Optometry.

After visiting another eye clinic in the Santa Rosa area that was somewhere between a meat market and a slow emergency waiting room, with a 25 person/40 minute waiting list - even with an appointment - Dr Lyons' office was paradise. Very comfortable, efficient, organized office and personable staff, modern equipment, a pleasant experience from start too finish. I was seen immediately. Dr. Lyons was very efficient and personable as well. Rather than turning me over to an assistant, she conducted my examination herself. She gave me the full details regarding the condition of my eyes. After my exam I spoke with her lab tech about pricing for glasses and lenses and was provided with the full spectrum of possibilities from inexpensive to high tech. I was very pleased with the experience.

Please don't change a thing! Having an excellent optometrist and optometry office is very important to me, particularly since I suffered some trauma to my eyes in an industrial accident. I'll be forever grateful to my friend who referred Lyons Optometry to me!

I came to your office because my insurance changed. I had gone to my former eye doctor for probably 10 years. I was bummed that I had to change doctors. However, after my visit/appointment my view totally changed. I realized change is good! I had the best experience EVER! The office was beautiful, the staff greeted me like they already knew me and I enjoyed the doctor and her knowledge. Was super excited about the tinted glasses option for my computer job. My eyeglass(s)shopping experience was over the top. I am still thinking about my visit today and how excited I am about my new glasses and the thoughts of how my days/nights are going to change due to these glasses. Thank you to everyone involved!!
