Dr. was friendly and knowledgeable. Technology used in exam seemed to be up to date. Office staff and techs need training in how to behave professionally in front areas. No welcome greeting when i arrived, couldn’t see the receptionist behind her monitor, when I found her she was eating her lunch. (10+ staff, all female talking loudly about personal stuff behind the various counters could hardly concentrate on filling out the paperwork, would have preferred to sit outside away from it but no chairs. Tech didn’t introduce herself, no eye contact until I moved my chair sideways to look at her behind the monitor. Had to ask her name and who she was and what we’d be doing. Gal who was supposed to help me with glasses didn’t seem to know what I was asking for in a frame, kept showing me styles the opposite of what I asked to see. At the end she could not give me a copy of line by line what I was paying for even though payment in full was required. She said she would send an email with breakdown of charges, never came. I might go back because the Dr provided a good experience, but wow…. practice needs a good office manager who will ensure a pleasant, professional, knowledgeable experience.

I didnt want to have my eyes dilated questioned if I would be ok to see and drive after was assured would be no problem. When I left as soon as I got to top of stairs the sunlight blinded me I could not see and fell on my butt on top stair. My Dr sent me for xrays fortunately nothing broken but my back was very sore. A friend happened to be at bottom of stairs and helped me down and to my car.I drove home but didnt feel remotely safe. Very bad experience should never have been told my eyes would be just fine after dilation!

The doctor and staff were great, very knowledgeable and friendly. However, the prices for glasses- ridiculous. 642$ for the lenses alone? If I had an extra 700$ I still wouldn’t buy them, I would go to the grocery and get food for my family. Especially knowing that I can pay 150$ or less online. But of course, my online pair won’t be perfect because doctors refuse to provide people with all of the measurements needed to order accurately. So that part of it, a big scam.

Dr Landsaw’s office personnel got us in quickly after my husband lost partial sight in one eye. He was very thorough and sent us directly to Miami. He called ahead and set up that appointment. There it was discovered that he’d had a stroke in the eye. His fast reaction to what he saw in the eye may well have saved my husbands life. You can’t get better than that. Highly recommend Dr Landsaw and his staff.

I was very satisfied with my eye exam. I was seen exactly at the scheduled time, very friendly staff explained each test before starting formed. He explains the results and answers any questions you may have. Staff very helpful with picking out the different options with lens and frames. I highly suggest the extra eye test , small additional cost helps catch issues and brings peace of mind everything is ok.

First time patient. I lost my last pair of prescription glasses and was calling around for an appointment as I am relatively new to the area. Claire was wonderful as she set me up for a future appointment but then called me with a cancellation and I was able to be seen the same day. From right over the phone while making my daughters appointment they were very helpful .Once we arrived to the appointment it was so clean and we received a nice welcome as we walked though the door right away I notice they had a great variety of glasses to choose from . I was very pleased with the service and care provided. I was also very pleased with the cost of my glasses and exam. About five years ago, I spent double at another office in Miami. I went into your office thinking that I was going to pay about the same amount, but it wasn't the case. The entire staff was professional and kind. The office/exam rooms were clean. The glasses only took three working days to arrive which was impressive, especially these day!

When I made my first appointment, instructions were very through, everything I needed was emailed to me by request so when I got to the office I didn't have to waste time completing forms. When you arrive, however, there is a note posted on the door to call to be allowed entrance. (This too was explained in advance). You are given a mask to wear the entire time you are there, which I completely agree with. Once in the office you check in and are asked to go to your first examination room. The attendant takes pictures of the eye and prepares them for the doctor's review. They you are asked to relocate to another examination room, where the doctor will see you. I met Dr. Landsaw for the first time there. He was very friendly and through. He explained everything as he was doing it, which made me feel at ease. If you need a prescription, it is sent to your pharmacy, where you can pick it up on the way home. A follow-up visit was set before I left the office. Note: Dr. Landsaw was recommended to me by Dr. Trattler out of Miami, to make it more convenient for me since I'm located in the upper keys. They work well together, all my reports were all forwarded to Dr. Landsaw before my visit, saving me money on duplications. I was very happy with the service I received...so I'm happy to recommend Dr. Landsaw to others.

I am very pleased with my visit and the examination I received. You meticulously pay attention to detail from making an appointment to opening the door as you leave. The examination equipment is state of the art which makes you just feel good that one is getting the best of care. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. Sabrina was super helpful & patient as I selected frames. She ran through all the options more than once to help me make the right choice for me. I’ve been a patient here for years. The glasses are “expensive” compared to chains like America’s Best. But Landsaw must use different labs to make the lenses — they are far superior to the bargain chains. 1st class Operation, by people who really care! What a refreshing Experience at Landsaw Eyecare! My son makes his living fishing offshore in Islamorada, and simply CANNOT adjust to Contact lenses. For an early Birthday gift this year, I decided to treat him to an Eye exam, new Prescription glasses, as well as New Maui Jim Offshore Prescription Sunglasses. Landsaw Eyecare has a very loyal local following, and it is very hard to get an eye exam in a short period of time almost anywhere in the Keys, yet Deanne Major pulled some strings, and was able to fit us in doe the appointment. The attention to detail, thoroughness, and friendliness by Dr. Landsaw was not lost on myself or my son. You can tell that he loves his job, and really cares about each client!!! Lastly, Deanne Major was AMAZING!! So patient with us, and she knows her stuff in terms of what looks good, and what doesn’t. She is a true gem of a person, and a valuable addition to the Landsaw Eyecare staff. Highest of Accolades!!!

Very unsatisfactory experience given my wife Lisa Lund who spent 2K on glasses at your facility recommended you as did other folks in my community, Silver Shores. I called a couple of weeks ago and asked if you provided field of vision tests which I need to determine whether I qualify for insurance coverage for eyelid and brow surgery. I was told by your staff person on the phone that you did and she took down all my information. I had already seen a surgeon who does the procedure and her staff told me I needed to get the test. I wanted to do the test in Key Largo to avoid the drive to Miami where the surgeon is located. I came to your office on June 2, the day I had noted for the test. I was told the appointment was actually on June 7. I was surprised but chalked it down to a misunderstanding. I arrived on the 7th to be informed that your staff needed my ‘records’ to do the test specifically my eyeglass prescription. I was able to pull that up to show your staffer but then she left and came back to inform me I would need to submit to a complete eye exam to get the test. I viewed this as a ‘bait and ‘switch’ and left your office furious given the waste of my time. If you required all the pre-tests I should have been informed of that when I first called. I already have an optometrist and I did not need an eye exam. You’ve wasted three weeks of my time and you can be certain I will be informing my friends early and often if this thoroughly frustrating experience. I’ve asked my wife to do the same and have no further dealings with your office. Good riddance!

This is the first office I have ever gone to that I can actually see out of my glasses. Dr Landsaw is great. After picking out frames the tech has you put on frames and there is a machine involved. I had high expectations when I first arrived at Landsaw Eyecare. The office was very modern with lots of fancy machines. The staff was friendly. My glasses came very quick, 4 days to be exact. I was so excited to get them as I have been waiting since last year when I saw a different eye doctor & he told me my vision was better than 85% of the population. The distance was better but the reading was blurry with my new RX. I emailed that night to let Dr.Landsaw know & called Mon am after not hearing back. I was told I didn’t need an appointment & to just come in when I could & I had them next day off & I called in the am before I went there & was told they were busy & they couldn’t get me in today. I don’t have another day off until next Thursday so now I have to wait over another week. I also picked some frames that I thought I liked & then when I put them on without my mask I didn’t like them, they were way too big for my thin long face. I haven’t worn glasses for at 12 years & feel bad the way it turned out but they are all wrong.

For many years I have been a patient of Dr. Landsaw and a visit to the office has always been a pleasure. With glaucoma in my family's history I make an appointment every six months. This year I kept putting it off because of CoVid... yesterday, when I did go reluctantly for an exam I felt totally safe. I was checked at the door before being allowed to enter, I was provided with a new mask (I was not allowed to use my own). I was requested to wash my hands before the examination, and before I left. Amazing visit at Dr Landsaws office ! Everyone was so friendly and very Efficient in each one’s position . Very cautious to keep everyone safe - the patient and staff and disinfected carefully every step after every procedure ! The quality of care and equipment , along with the attention to making the patient feel comfortable and taken care of is amazing . Appreciated each one ! Great team Dr Landsaw !

at my age 74😬 it’s not just an eye exam...it could reveal life/eye threatening problems...so to say we’re netvous is an understatement ...i felt very at ease as the people are very kind and efficient...didn’t wait too long so that was nice...tests done very carefully so you can trust the results, and the doctor puts you/me immediately at ease with his professional yet comfortable manner of testing and advising of pros and cons of your/my particular condition Left informed and grateful for the kind/carin/and professional attention i got from the “whole” staff😘

Amazing service, amazing people!!! I have been having some serious eye issues this past month and Dr. Landsaw and his associates took the time to acknowledge my concerns and worked to provide solutions. Would highly recommend to anyone in the Upper Keys!!!
