I have been a patient with the gals from the Lancaster Skin Center for years and I have nothing but praise for al of them. I have known Kathy personally for a long time and you won't find a better person. I have gotten to know Karen and all the other friendly faces up front and they are all wonderful to deal. And since I am not the sharpest person in the drawer when it comes to tech things, they always help me through. And, of course, Chantelle, my doctor. I trust her completely and she has never let me down. And to top it off, she is one of the nicest people I know. So, to sum it up, I would never think of ever going to another office. Not when I have the best with the Lancaster Skin Center.

1) Greeted by desk personnel in a friendly manner- 5 stars. 2) Taken to exam room & interviewed re reason for appt. - BP taken - not treated rudely but attitude of “nurse” was perfunctory at best. 3) Saw Chantal next - while not unpleasant communicated an “all business” attitude. Told me that in the future I needed to specify wanting a full body scan appt. when scheduling an appt. - info I’d never known previously. This was puzzling since the waiting area for patients was not occupied when I left & had few (2 others) waiting when I arrived. In general patient “Pleasantries” and “experience” were most evident upon arrival & departure. Services performed by professionals were certainly satisfactory but lacked a professional/pleasant patient experience. - 3 Stars

I feel like he was very rushed for time- I was a new patient and he wasnt in the room more than 15-20 minutes. The room was very small. The office was very run down. I had reports sent to them- nothing was prepared- office staff should have called to get results of previous pathology.

Diane and Jessica said they were pleased with their visit and would rate it five star. I visited on March 6 and rated my visit five star also but did not receive your survey. However, I wrote a email to you yesterday concerning my experience with your staff after I helped Diane and Jessica into the examination room. Attached is a copy of that memo: Dear Dr Anderson, I drove Jessica and Diane today for their annual exam. I wheeled Jessica into the exam room, and Diane also was there for her own exam. On the way out I mentioned to your Receptionist that I had a procedure last week and the opening was still painful. I stated I would like you to take a one second look at it to make sure it wasn’t getting infected. She said no, and that you were booked up and I would have to make an appointment. I gave her an old New York answer: Forget about it! I’ve been a patient of yours for over 30 years. I know you would not be so cold and rude. I’ll take my chances rather than have to drive another fifty miles for a One second exam. Hope the Mets and Giants make it this year! No discussion about skin tags and how to remove them. These are really bothersome in my arm pits. I wish I knew how to properly remove the skin tags. I have a keratosas patch near my ear that itches yet no willingness to remove it. Exam was fast and fortunately not anything cancerous.

I did not check name tags but assume that is who I saw. She addressed my questions and supplied treatments, one during appointment and the other was something I could pick up at the drug store. I left reassured.

From my initial entry to the Lancaster Skin Center, I was treated professionally with courtesy, knowledge and care. As a new patient, the checking procedure was quick and easy. On schedule I was taken to the examination room where I explained to both the nurse and to the CRNP Molly Casey why I was referred here for a 2nd opinion and a potential biopsy of the problem area. After a thorough examination of the skin rash she took a picture of the rash area. After returning from a consult with Dr Andersen, she did a punch biopsy of the area in question. An appointment for suture removal for next week was set up along with an explanation of how I would be notified about the biopsy results. Therefore, I believe my appointment and services provided by the Lancaster Skin Center rates FIVE STARS!

The providers at your institution have always been very kind, and the receptionists have been stellar! However, I was very disappointed in the number of prescription medication advertisements I had to endure throughout my experience. On the E-check-in, I was bombarded by a scrolling ad as well as a video for plaque psoriasis. I was asked to take a survey about whether or not I would be interested in this medication (even though I do not have psoriasis). When I came to the office, the waiting room was plastered with advertisements for other treatments and medications. Even my receipt had an ad printed on the bottom that looked like a coupon. However, I noticed that in a smaller font beneath, it read "a paid advertisement". Finally, I was coming for an appointment to discuss acne, but towards the end of my visit, the provider mentioned offhand that I might have psoriasis? This comment was confusing and disturbing after all of the psoriasis ads I had to watch on my E-check in. I am a registered nurse, and the organization I work for has taken a stand against these paid ads/drug reps because they can easily interfere with honest care. I am unsure of the legality of your practice's actions, but it is certainly a slippery slope, and I believe it should be delicately navigated. Please contact me if you would like to discuss this further.

After explaining the procedure we agreed on, the doctor proceeded and did a masterful job of getting me taken care of. I couldn’t be happier with the staff and the doctor here. I have a follow up from a surgery 11/23 and will work on coordinating schedules to have two more basal cell carcinomas removed. This melanoma is obviously a priority and would rather have that scheduled vs moving dates and times around.

Previous to my last appointment, I experienced an infected cyst. This occurred prior to my scheduled stem cell transplant. I called for an appointment to have this taken care of prior to my transplant as the healing needed to take place. The individual that answered the phone stated that they had no appointments available. They never said they would put me on a waiting list or even offered to try to do something. Extremely disappointing.

My doctor was fantastic. I've been to several dermatologists in the area and this is by far the best one. My questions were answered well, my concerns were cared about, and the level of care was the best I've had where dermatology is concerned. My only concern was that during my visit a male doctor walked in without knocking and left the door wide open while I had my shirt lifted to have an area examined. I highly recommend Chantelle. She handled the situation extremely well.

I was seen promptly, had ample time to discuss my issues and concerns with the doctor’s assistant who was knowledgeable and answered a lot of my questions. Dr. Anderson subsequently came in, listened to me carefully and actually seemed interested. I did not feel like I had to hurry or like I was wasting anyone’s time. He examined the area and discussed treatment options and a plan that made sense to me. Since Dr. Anderson is also aboard certified in pathology he is able to review specimens and has more insight and this gives me added confidence in the care I am receiving.

We were very pleased with our visit to PA Chantelle Gastinger yesterday. We had lots of questions and she answered them very professionally and didn’t make us free dumb that we ask . She was speedy but felt confidently she knows the right answers.

Simply put I was nothing short of absolutely impressed with Chantel Gastinger And Danielle. They did an amazing job checking my moles and hearing my concerns I went in there with anxiety I may have another spot of concerned that need to be removed and potentially be cancerous as is common in my genetics and family history. After a thorough examination and a thoughtful conversation that was very efficient despite my being tardy to my appointment which I am very sorry about Kathy and Kim at the front desk for also very very accommodating and firm but fair and also friendly which is important as well I was able to get in and get out very quickly but not feel rushed so thank you to everybody from the bottom of my heart. I also had a concern about a condition on my hands that has bothered me severely for the past 20 years that I potentially now have hope for I will need bloodwork and follow up appointments with a specialist but that’s why there are specialists and that’s why it takes amazing doctors like those at Lancaster skin Center to refer to those specialists and some doctors are not humble enough nor self-aware enough to refer to those specialists and that can frustrate me with those professionals in the medical field. So thank you again I would highly recommend Lancaster skin Center to anyone out there!

I was recommended to Dr. Andersen by my family doctor and by my best friend. Even though I moved to Delaware I still travel to the Lancaster Skin Center for my annual skin check. Everybody at this practice is professional and personable and help you to feel comfortable. That's important to me because I get anxiety when I go to any doctor. Dr. Andersen has a terrific "bedside manner" and comments while he examines me which I find very reassuring. During the pandemic they did everything possible to keep their patients safe. Lancaster Skin Center has earned my highest rating.

As soon as I called to make a New Patient appointment at the Lancaster Skin Center I was warmly greeted by Kathy. She made the process of schedule seamless and walked me through what to expect at my first appointment. She was friendly, welcoming, and a great first impression of the practice. When I was able to meet Molly Casey, she came in with a smile (yes, you can tell even when she had a mask on) which eased my anxiety right off the bat. She listened to my concerns and would reflect back on them as we talked through my plan of care. Molly was sensitive to my needs and answered all my questions. I’m looking forward to my next appointment, and while my skin has been a frustrating journey, I feel as if I’m on the right path with Molly and everyone at the Lancaster Skin Center.
