I had floaters in my left eye and was very concerned. Dr. Biondo fit me to see me on the same day. So professional and thorough with his examination. It was nothing to worry about, but he did want me to follow up with him in 2 weeks. When I went in for that appointment he confirmed all was okay.

Dr. Biondo, Lauren and Ariel are all wonderful. However, had a problem with Carrie at the front desk. She kept interrupting me speaking with other desk person; told me I was wrong about my insurance company(had my insurance card in my hand); said Dr. Biondo was my PCP(that's not correct).

It is always a pleasure to visit Dr. Biondo and his staff. Dr. Biondo is very welcoming and listens to all of my concerns. He is professional in his manner and has always been able to give me an accurate and quick diagnosis on any problem I've had with my eyes, including my annual check-up. His staff are polite and helpful also. I never have had to wait long for an appointment, and when I had a pressing issue with one of my eyes, he was able to see me the same day. One of my friends recommended him to me and I recommend him to anyone I know who needs an eye doctor. He is an excellent doctor!

Everything is first-rate. Dr. Biondo took the time to fully listen and then explain things to me. I like the fact that it's the doctor that does the final testing of my vision and decides what my eyeglass prescription is. Also, I have special problems with getting glasses to work both visually and with sensitivity behind my ears, and Ariel is terrific at being patient and working with me to make sure the glasses work for me. I say double her salary!

After many years of visiting many different eye doctors, I've finally found a place where I feel understood! As a long time sufferer of dry eye, I felt like I had tried every product on the market desperately searching for relief. Dr. Biondo offered a new perspective and treatment options I had never explored before with scleral lenses. I feel like I've finally found something to make a huge difference and give me some relief. He is a kind doctor with great bedside manner. The office is beautiful, clean and well appointed. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. I look forward to continuing my care with this office.

Kirkwood Eye Associates is the perfect combination of personalized service and professionalism. In my recent visit to the office, I was warmly greeted by the team and helped to walk through the initial visit paperwork. My initial visit provided many options for my experience to be personalized. My favorite was working with the specialist Aerial (I don't usually include names in my reviews but need to in this instance). I am very picky on selecting glasses and my extra-large noggin makes it difficult to find a style that hip enough to look like I'm from this century. She personally helped me try on, no less than, 85 pairs of glasses (they have over 1000 in store). She also gave me good advice on ones once we narrowed down the selection. - Thank you to the whole team!!!

Every single time I come in, you guys try and charge me rather than running my insurance. I’ve never had a “free” eye exam as I’m supposed to get from my insurance. Yesterday you ran my medical insurance rather than my eye-med insurance and tried to charge me a $50 co-pay. You said you did this because the doctor wanted a certain test on me. I had to argue my way out of the co-pay because it was just a scam. This is tantamount to insurance fraud. I should not be forking over so much money for my “free” eye exam. The doctor is actually nice as is the staff, but every single time I have to argue my way out of bogus charges. It’s tiring.

This was my first visit with Kirkwood Eye Associates. Everyone was kind and helpful. Doctor Biondo was thorough and thoughtful. I was convinced that I needed new glasses and he could easily have sold them to me, but he didn't. He explained that my prescription was fine. Who does that??? Loved the experience and I would highly recommend him!

I was mowing my lawn on a Friday at the height of our Corona lockdown and something was thrown from under the mower deck, ricocheted off of a tree under my safety glasses and hit my eye. I reared back and covered my eye and when I looked at my hand I saw blood. After a few scary moments, I contact Kirkwood Eye Associates, where the office staff called Dr Biondo and let him know what happened. He came from home on his day off to see me. After over three years I am now having trouble with the macula and he is working with a referral to a retina. I am confident in the information he is providing to the specialist. Also, Lauren Bond is very helpful and quite reliable, and I thank her for attention to detail.

Excellent customer service! I went in looking for better fitting glasses (without an appointment) and after talking with Ariel, we felt it was best to make sure my prescription was accurate and she was able to fit me in to see Dr. Biondo the same day. She is extremely knowledgeable and personable. I felt complete confidence in her abilities to put me in the right frame especially after informing me of the importance of ‘temple’ length which has never been considered for me at other eye shops. I’ve worn glasses for over 30 years and it’s the first time that I’ve felt the person fitting me really knew what they were doing. Excellent selection of frames too. And Dr. Biondo gave me the same confidence in his ability to give me the best prescription for my needs. He’s extremely knowledgeable about all things for vision correction including finding a contact lens that I will actually be able to see out of. It was a great experience all around. This was my first visit to Kirkwood Eye Associates. I had been struggling with my glasses and unable to wear my contacts over the last 6 months. I was not sure if I could wear contacts again. Dr Biondo was able to fit me with contacts very quickly and so far I am very happy. My whole experience from the time I walked in was A+.

When we realized my daughter was going to need glasses we took her to one of the "discount" places and the standard statement of "you get what you pay for stands true". The doctor listens to your concerns and helps come up with the best plan for you and your family. There's no pressure to buy the more expensive frames and help you stay within your budget. I just had my first appointment and was very very impressed. The staff was super friendly and the doctor was the best I have ever been to. He took lots of time to explain things to me and answered all my questions. The two ladies in the front were so personable and easy to talk to. I ended my appointment picking out glasses and the lady that helped me was very helpful and supportive but not overwhelming. I was able to browse on my own but she still assisted me in finding the perfect pair. I can't wait to go pick up my new glasses and Kirkwood Eye Associates will be my forever eye doctor now.

I recently began to search for a new eye care clinician in the St. Louis area. Part of my search included the availability of newer practices and instrument such as the digital retinal imaging within the eye examination. In my search, I happened upon Kirkwood Eye Associates' web site. Before scheduling an appointment, I contacted the office via e-mail with a few questions on the types of tests included in a standard eye exam. I received a quick response with detailed information, including that they utilized the digital retinal imaging. Upon receiving this response, I decided to schedule an appointment. The office was able to schedule an appointment for me within a few days. The overall experience greatly impressed me. The staff members were fantastic. I greatly appreciated Dr. Biondo's approach - taking the time to explain both the tests that were part of the exam and the results. After my eye exam, I looked for a new pair of glasses. Again, the staff members were fantastic. They took their time to help me identify the style I wanted, suggested pairs, and answered the questions I had. I highly recommend Kirkwood Eye Associates.

The office atmosphere is really professional and efficient. The eye exams went well and good concise advice was given for further care. The equipment used for testing and display of the results is current technology and displays what the patient needs to understand about their vision. Very Effective.

This office has style, warm staff, and a hands on DO that creates a great experience during a normally annoying experience at the local eye care chain. This place is state of the art - they even have a machine that replaces Dilation drops so I could drive myself home afterwards! I was pleased with their large selection of glasses, the time and care they took to find me the perfect affordable pair. Already scheduling an appointment for my partner!

Dr. Biondo is knowledgeable, listens to you, and has an awesome chair side manor. He does not rush you or your eyes. He is patiently willing to suggest and try different contact brands and solutions without hesitation. Dr. Biondo is approachable and I can communicate to him my financial situation and he has solutions to keep my eyesight affordable! I followed him to his new practice and would recommend him to newcomers in the area (as I was) and anyone looking for a new optometrist! Extremely friendly staff as well!!!

I have not had an eye exam since 2006 so I was nervous to make an appointment. Dr. Biundo made me so comfortable and walked me through each step of the exam. I was very impressed by the new technology & equipment that they have invested in. The appointment was quick, painless and thorough! I was lucky enough that I didn't need any glasses but I will share that they have an awesome assortment of designer & locally made frames! I will be sure to make this an annual appointment!!!

The Ladies at the front desk very pleasant and eager to help. I felt very comfortable with them. Dr. Biondo excellent with my health and eye care. Made sure all questions were answered and I had an understanding of what was being said. The follow up care is impeccable. I would highly recommend them to any person needing the best eye care.
