Dr. Phillips is very professional and personable. He asks if you have any questions and takes time to listen to any of your concerns. He explains what he finds relative to the eye exam. All testing on your eyes is quick and comfortable. His staff is also very professional and helpful when you need to choose new eyeglasses and frames.

My original appointment was scheduled for April, but when I called in with my considered. Dr Phillips was able to move me up a couple months! This helped tremendously! I was treated wonderfully. All was explained to me as the tests were taken and I think I passed, even without my glasses on. Then, I was treated to a tour of the frames available (sorry, just couldn't choose those orange ones) and with a little help, picked out a style that will surely enhance the erotica of a 73 year old face :>) My only problem was finding Insight. It was pouring rain and I wandered aimlessly up and down Middlebrook Pike til I saw the sign. Of course, I parked out front, couldn't get in and had the wherewithall to wander around back and found my destination.. Now I know where to go and will never have that problem again, hopefully. :>)

My visit to Doctor Hal Phillips and his staff was as pleasant as any similar visit I have ever had. The entire Insight Eyecare staff was kind, courteous, thoughtful, professional, well-organized, and well-practiced at their work. Prices were in keeping with industry standards and their office is modern, clean, and a pleasure to visit. Dr. Hal was friendly and made us feel like we had known him for years even though this was our first visit to his office. He took sufficient time to explain everything and show us pictures of my eyes and explain what the images meant and what our path forward could be. I can't imagine what else they could have done to make our visit any better.

I had an excellent experience at Insight Eyecare. Dr. Philips and his staff were curteous, knowledgeable, and professional. The receptionists were friendly and efficient. The assistant who did the routine testing explained everything that was being done and made my comfort a priority. I was able to avoid having my eyes dialated by choosing the Optomap imaging instead. Dr. Philips answered all my questions in a way that was easy to understand. I feel confident that my prescription is correct. The opticians were patient and helpful as I picked out frames. I would recommend this office to anyone, especially those who are hesitant about having an eye exam or don't like having their eyes dialated.

They were out of trial contacts in the brand that I like so they gave me a different brant to try, and they are waiting for my regular brand to send trials so I can try them out before I buy one. Dr. Phillips is great at what he does - very knowledgeable and kind. I have extreme eye allergies and he has helped me so much. This is also the first Optometrist that has gotten my prescription perfect on the first try - no headaches! 2021 is the 3rd year I have gotten my eyes checked at Insight and I have told everyone I know that Insight Eyecare is the best. My experience with Insight Eyecare is always wonderful. This year, I had to reschedule my annual exam (twice!) and felt terrible about it, however, the reception was so kind and helpful through the process. There is typically almost no waiting time to start the exam process and all staff members are very polite and easy to converse with before and during the exam. Dr. Phillips is truly always so welcoming, personable and laid-back. You almost forget you're there for an exam because you feel like you're just catching up with a friend. The staff immediately gets your next appt scheduled in their system and will send you reminders in advance (which is super helpful!). All in all, the entire process is very easy. I would recommend Insight Eyecare to anyone looking for a great experience and a friendly doctor.

As stated, I was a new patient. I was needing too see have an eye exam quickly. I called on the afternoon that the office was closed and left a message. Doctor Phillips called me back within an hour and said if it was an emergency, he could come into the office and see me in a couple of hours. I asked if he could see me the next day. He worked me in at 8:00 am the next morning. I see why all of the ratings are 5 stars.
