I hate dentists. I hate dentists so much I didn't see one for 10 years. I told Dr Kurian right from the beginning that I didn't like her. It's not that I'm scared; I am confident that I have had unnecessary fillings from crooked dentists in the past. And I have TMJ, so even a check up can be painful. Well, as much as I've tried not to like Dr. Kurian, it's impossible. She has the best energy! The whole staff there is awesome. They're kind and caring, and don't give you a hard time. I can tell that Dr. Kurian and her staff are in the preventative care business. They aren't out to make money on unnecessary dental work. I promise you won't find a better dentist, dental staff, or dental office than this one. Highly recommended, from a woman who hates dentists.

As someone who has always been afraid of the dentist, I have never felt so safe and comfortable in an office before. I haven’t been to the dentist since 2020 (whoops!) and honestly, I was putting off going back to the dentist because I knew it wasn’t going to be good news. Don’t get me wrong, my teeth definitely need plenty of work, but at no point in time did I feel shamed or condescended to about my subpar dental hygiene. I felt like she was on my side, incredibly supportive, and judgement free. It was an incredibly refreshing experience, and I will absolutely be staying with this office.

My visit was amazing!! I have had such bad experiences in the past that has stopped me from seeing to dentist on a regular basis. Yes this is bad and yes my visit was related to an issue that would not have been an issue if I visited the dentist regularly. I can honestly say that this visit was so pleasant and not scary. I would recommend this office highly to anyone who needs/asks for a dentist.

The receptionist greeted me promptly and pleasantly and managed bill payment seamlessly. Dr Kurian was very attentive and gave a very complete and thorough exam. The hygienist was sweet and pleasant, and offered helpful tips on teeth whitening without my having to ask. She also did my cleaning which was painless and thorough. Both Dr Kurian and the hygienist were positive and reassuring about my dental situation. I'm so glad I found this practice.

I generally hate dentists, because despite having overall healthy teeth, I feel like I'm in a sales pitch for all sorts of things I don't need. The reason I reverse-commute from NYC to visit Dr. Kurian is that she's the exact opposite of that. She's very direct/transparent and is a great communicator. She very clearly explains what her observations are, her corresponding recommendations, and why she's making those recommendations. On top of that, the whole staff who I've had the pleasure of interacting with (Monique/Justine) are great. As a bonus, a common thread across the whole team is a great sense of humor, which contributes to each visit being an overall positive experience.

Absolutely perfect experience from beginning to end. From front desk, to checking in, to confirming coverage, to the hygienist, to the doc herself. Lovely, skillful people who are on top of everything and are clearly as efficient as they come. Dr. Kurian and her staff are excellent. Dr. K is knowledgable and conversative in her approach, and truly cares about each patient. She does no unnecessary dental work. I have never had any pain with any work she's done. She did an implant for me, and it's the best tooth have! She may make suggestions, but there is never any pressure to have the work done. She will recommend other specialists when needed. The dental hygienists are very good. Excellent cleaning. Dr. K is very thorough, as are the hygienists. The entire staff is kind, personable, and knowledgable. You feel like a member of their family!

Thank-you dr. Kurian! After not coming for a checkup in 3 years, my crown falling out caused me to come in. That was a blessing in disguise. After recementing my crown, i got a full set of exrays and a checkup. 3 days later i was back to have 6 cavities filled. I appreciated dr. Kurian also cleaning bad stains off my top front teeth. I feel i can smile alot more now! The extra expense of the oral b electric toothbrush was well worth it. I feel a big difference in how clean my teeth feel now. I'm back on the righf track!

Dr. Kurian is wonderful. She listens to her patients, is always available for them, and is the most knowledgeable dentist I've ever seen. Her patient's comfort is of primary concern to Dr. Kurian. She is conservative in her treatment and in her evaluation explains to the patient any primary or future treatments that are visible. If any treatment is of a timely necessity, she will inform the patient, but there is never any pressure. The patient always makes the final decision as to treatment. I required an implant, and Dr. Kurian made a perfect fit. The process was easy from the beginning. My mother travels over 40 mi. one way to see her. Mom's former dentist told her she needed to replace all her front crowns. Turns out she didn't. She is very grateful to Dr. Kurian. When the Dr. and her staff treat you like family, you look forward to those check-ups. Hamburg Dental Group is the best hidden treasure in Sussex County. Oh, and she has a great sense of humor!

I'm always pleased with my visits. I learn something every time. I'm trying to understand the changes occurring to my gums especially and what 1) may be the cause, 2) what can I do to be proactive to slow the progression of gum recession.. Am I doing too much? Am I causing the problem. Maybe I'm unusual that I ask so many questions. But health and fitness is part of my life and this is a big part of that.

Love my visits to see Dr. K and the team!! Everyone has a smile on their face and it is easy to see they enjoy their work and work environment. The care is paramount. I feel I am given all the attention I need while I am there, my history is at the forefront of their minds and so is the future of my dental needs. Every detail is paid attention too without ever feeling like anything is EVER missed. I would also point out Dr K has never pushed any dental work or extras on me that were unnecessary.

My daughter is 4 years old and autistic. She was quite nervous and scared to go to the dentist. But from the time she walked in until we left the staff was amazing with her. Very kind and gentle with their conversations with her. The hygienist took her time to show my daughter each instrument she was going to use and allows my daughter to touch and experience each one prior to the exam. Dr. K was the same with her and everyone made the experience for her a great one. She is no longer nervous or scared of the dentist and was very proud of her accomplishment of having her teeth checked and clean.

I love Hamburg Family & Cosmetic Dental Group. It is so well run. For such a busy practice I've never waited when I arrive for my appointment. Dr. Kurian is so compassionate & cares about the comfort of the patient first. She thoroughly explains her findings & suggestions. The dental hygienist, Tina, is so helpful giving tips on ways to keep my teeth healthy. Office manager Justine, always takes care of insurance questions so that I never have to do a thing. This was a very pleasant experience. Visiting the dentist is not usually pleasant but Dr. Kurian and her staff made the visit less stressful by being upbeat and friendly. They took the time to explain each step of what they were doing and even took the time to ask if there were any questions they needed to address. Also the front desk was very helpful in discussing the insurance benefits and the out of pocket expenses. Very enjoyable experience overall.
