I would like to commend the two staffers, (Brendun and Dee-Dee) who looked after me on my visit on 2/19/24. I have been a patient of Dr. Goldstein for quite a while and this was the first visit where each staffer took the time to explain each step of the visit. This has never happened before. I was telling Dee-Dee how I freak out each year when I have to do the visual range test because I feel that I see the flickers of light and maybe they are not really there. I was told if I got agitated how I could pause the process, blink my eyes and how to restart. No one has taken the time to explain this to me before. Encouragement was given while the test was in progress. If these explanations are new to your patient care, I would highly recommend that you continue this. Only the dr’s visit was abrupt, where she and another staffer came in and looked at the computer and the results, said everything was fine and then told me I now needed two visits a year instead of only an annual and sent me to checkout.

Friendly, well-trained staff. Dr. Goldstein pleasant. Made workable recomendations. Given a prescription print out, but not told how much or if any difference from last glasses made. Follow up macular test in another room. Made appt. for one year, but given a different doctor.

This is the first time I have been to the Decatur office for an appointment and it went quite smoothly. There were only a couple of other people in the waiting area, so most of the time that I spent waiting was for the drops put in my eyes to take effect. I've been there once before, to pick up a copy of my prescription, and it was mobbed with people, which is the primary reason that I wouldn't give it five stars. All of the techs and doctors that I've seen in both this office and the one in Tucker have been friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. The one strange thing about this visit was having to change rooms between spending time with the tech and then with the doctor.

Dr. Goldstein had a very acerbic attitude when interacting with me. She was rude, condescending and seemed rushed. Only one person was wearing a mask, and that was the doctor's nurse. The Dr. did not have on a mask either. At the time, the Covid variant that was dominant, had a symptom of conjunctivitis. I find it incredibly unprofessional and willfully ignorant for health care "professionals" to be so cavalier with their patient's health risks. In whole, my experience with this practice, and especially Dr. Goldstein was horrible. I have told everyone I know to avoid this practice.

I love Dr. Goldstein but I was the next to the last appointment of the day and could tell a difference in her personality. She offered the standard great care but was not her chipper, warm self most likely from having a long day. The assistant she brought in the room with her needs to work on her body language which speaks before you open your mouth -- she smirked everytime I asked a question as if saying "I am ready to go." Watch that behavior with patients. Note to self- never make a late day appointment again.

I was 30 minutes late due do finding a place to park, Front desk associate was understanding my predicament and said if I had time they could work me into afternoon. Very accommodating!! Dr Johnston listen to my concerns and explained what was affecting right eye and rash parrell to my nose (left - right). He didn’t rush through appointment giving me time to ask questions. I recommend Dr Johnston for people looking for an excellent. ophthalmologist. Overall it was a great experience!!

I am a new patient. Dr Pyle and the tech were great. Having to wait in the lobby 45 min. and watching all the patients with later appts (they discussed w me as we waited for you to open) was a terrible experience. I sent my records over weeks ago but “no one had keyed them in”. Then you don’t carry the contacts I use, which are a leading brand. I filled out my paperwork while waiting and the desk person chatted w their coworker (for 45 min) but never input my stuff so then the technician had to do it all when I was finally seen. It made my appt that much longer. I need a more efficiently run practice than this one. I’m sad since you are so conveniently located to me in Decatur, and your actual providers are good.

The Receptionist Crystal" was very professional and made my first visit introduction to your company warm and welcoming. 👏🏾 Don" the lab technician was incredible on making sure each eye testing process was taken at it's highest level. not only did i enjoyed his knowledge but i was impressed with his skill level and experiences of giving and getting accuracy feedback from another staff member who all played an important part for me to learn each test I had been giving and why. and finally Dr. Goldstein told me great news about my total eye review and finished my visit with a final test and concluded that my eye sight didn't need glasses. Because of a schedule error by Georgia Eye Partners staff, I came for a scheduled appointment when the doctor I was to see was in a different office. I had verification that the error was that of the GEP staff. I sent an email pointing out this error and asking for recognition of the cost to me of their error. No one responded. So I mailed the letter. No response. So I hand delivered the letter, and though the staffer promised to get back to me... still no one had yet shown the the minimal courtesy of a reply. While I like Dr. Warren and feel she has provided expert care, the management of this office is so poor that I could not recommend this practice to anyone.

I had a great experience at GA Eye Partners. The admin up front was so helpful with my insurance. I was taken right on time and was impressed with my tech. Next came Dr. Sailor who was fantastic! Now that I am in my mid-40s my eyes have become so frustrating. Dr. Sailor gave me a few options for how best to see in different situations. I appreciated the time she took to listen and come up with solutions.

While on a visit to Atlanta I developed a painful sore in my eye from a ripped contact. My doctor in Syracuse set up an appointment with this group and while they were very prompt about fitting me in, I felt rushed when actually in front of the doctor who didn't seem that interested in hearing my concerns but did give me some eyedrops. This was a big deal for me because it impacted the whole rest of my trip and when leaving their office, still very much in pain and concerned for my eye, was given a business card from the receptionist who apparently doubles as a real estate agent... I was in no mood to deal with that when dealing with an infection in my eye.

I came in very anxious because of a bacterial infection around my eye that wasn't responding to treatment, and I walked out feeling reassured that her treatment regimen would work well and fix me right up. I highly recommend Georgia Eye Partners-Decatur. Their team is wonderful and their care is top notch. When my cataracts got to the point that glasses could no longer correct my vision, I started researching eye surgeons. I asked my primary care physician at Emory for a recommendation. She suggested Dr. Gayle Leff Goldstein. Dr. Goldstein is a wonderful doctor. She's friendly, knowledgable, has a wealth of experience and explains everything very thoroughly. I had astigmatisms in both eyes which required special lenses. I'm able to watch TV, drive and do most things without glasses. It's amazing how much brighter and vivid colors are now! I highly recommend Georgia Eye Partners to anyone needing eye surgery or a new eye doctor.

I can't say enough about this Practice! Professionalism at it's highest. The Tech was very knowledgeable and patient with me, she was thorough and took COVID-19 guidelines serious by cleaning everything prior to me using them and after. Dr. Goldstein has the best bedside manner and she explained everything to me and was very patient as well, I never felt rushed, she answered all questions and explained things in layman's term. I left with more knowledge than I anticipated. I have found my new Ophthalmologist.

Hi. I chose this method of feedback as it affords me the opportunity to express my real thoughts regarding my recent visit to your office in downtown Decatur. The convenience, courtesy, efficiency, and skillfulness of your staff are commendable. However, as a mobility challenged senior citizen, I would not refer others to this location due to the walking and parking drawbacks. Although my insurance does include free transportation for such visits, arrivals and returns are not always reliable. Thus, I was compelled to drive. Thanks to staff directions, I found the place easily. But once inside the building, my disabling condition made the walking distance to and from your office suite an unexpected hardship, even with a cane. In addition, I found it disappointing that the office did not offer free parking validation, nor a reduction to ease parking fees, especially considering Covid-19. Why I have paid less for valet parking, and those lots had an attendant! Most medical parking fees, if not gratis, are usually kept low as more benefit is derived from patient volume.

It was a great visit! Everyone was polite, professional and very competent. Dr. Goldstein had an emergency and therefore, I stayed at the office much longer than anticipated. That was fine. I understand emergencies. (Once I was the "emergency eye patient" and patients had to wait because the dr. was attending to me.) The office manager explained the wait to me and promised to keep me informed. I decided to stay, and I'm glad I did!

Everyone in the office was very nice and helpful. Our only complaint is the parking garage. It is hard, as you get older, to walk so far to get to the office. Then when you go back to the garage it is so dark and creepy and then to find your car and figure out how to get to the exit is even hard. Plus, you have to you pay! It's all wears you out, especially the first time you go. Then where do you exit and how do you pay. It's not a good experience!!

I'm a new patient and I loved the front desk staff, the technician that worked with me and the doctor. However, I was disturbed at the behavior of a team of other staff that intruded the testing room, hovering over me and discussing the equipment while I was being tested as if I wasn't there. Then, while on another machine being tested a woman came into the room and engaged in a loud conversation regarding another patient. Yet again, in another test room. a couple of staff came in and one bumped my chair twice amid my testing. I felt invisible to these people and believe that whatever they were doing could have taken place in the absence of a patient. It was a very annoying experience which I felt to be very unprofessional, intrusive and lacking privacy. This all happened in one visit--my first visit.

The Dr and front desk staff were great. (1)The technician’s communication went from “fair” initially to “very good” further into the appointment. I don’t remember her introducing herself or telling me what her job was. She did not know my history. This was the first time I was not seeing Dr Safra, so there were many new things for me - new provider, new forms to fill out, she didn’t understand my prescription. Once I explained to her my situation she was much more engaged, informative and helpful. (2) The general appearance of the office was fine, but I felt the equipment was not clean. There were smudges on the lenses of the exam equipment, confusing the initial exam results. There was dust or debris on the equipment that is placed up to the patient’s face. I was so impressed with the efficient and proficient staff. I was especially impressed with the amount of time Dr. Jennings spent with me and thoroughly explained the reasons and options for my medical concerns. My previous ophthalmologist made me feel as I were just a number on a checkout line and as much care as possible was assigned to the technician. I've been seeing Dr Leff for over 5 years and the service has always been excellent. He's a great doctor. His staff is friendly and they go beyond the call of duty.

Very disappointed in the contact purchasing side of the house. Was curtly told they didn't accept Blue Cross Blue Shield any longer and that I would have to find another place to buy my contacts.

I have been a patient of this practice since the late 1970s/80s with Dr. Leff as my doctor in the early years and most recently, Dr Goldstein. Both of these doctors are very competent and caring. however, I am really disappointed with the administrative staff. It seems that turn-over at the front desk is definitely impacting this practice. The people up front seem inexperienced and do not display enough or any professionalism. The wait time at both the Decatur and Snellville locations is ridiculously long and when questioning the people at the front desk as to when I could expect to see the Dr or Technician, it was like..."ok I'll check and see" and they don't move a muscle to check with anyone! I am extremely disappointed at have to wait on average an hour or longer to be seen. This situation has got to improve!

I am certainly not new to this practice! My recent visit, however, was somewhat stressful. I did not feel good and it took forever to complete my checkup due to the staff, from receptionist to the doctor, trying to learn a new software program. I understand the frustration on the staff but they included the patients in the meantime. My appt was 11:00 a.m. And I finished up at 3:00 pm. This is entirely to keep a patient for an annual exam. I certainly hope they have mastered the software before my next visit. 😊
