Rahkiya did a wonderful job of establishing tone and rapport with my wife and I. I know it takes a group effort to make this happen so from Mary assisting with the initial setup to Courtney being so welcoming to Rahkiya establishing a safe space, I am grateful for everyone’s roll in making this a great experience!

Every interaction is so kind and professional. The ability to communicate through text with the admins to handle appointment cancellations, payments and reminders makes keeping up with my calendar super easy. When I call, the voice on the other side seems genuinely happy to assist me. Cory has been an excellent provider from day 1 and has truly been able to help me become the best version of myself with grace during the times I was hurting, and with kindness when challenging the areas of growth. Thank you!

Safety, security and privacy were above and beyond. Reception area and offices are clean and comforting coupled, with a very kind receptionist. Counselor is kind , reassuring and productive, as to where I could accommodate and realize changes are coming in my life as a positive.

I’ve only had one session but so far I like it. My only reservation so far is that the wait time to get seen was a bit long, but that may not be atypical for this service. If I had to pick one thing that I’d say you excelled at, I would say that it’s communication. Also, what’s up with having the lobby closed and having to stand in the hallway? Is that a lingering COVID thing? If so, the lobby is more spacious than the hallway with fewer people passing through, just saying.

I have been through various therapists and counselors over the years without feeling like I was making progress. I've made more progress in 4 months with Firm Foundations than I have collectively in 10 years at other places. The therapists and staff care and are dedicated to helping you reach your goals.

The staff here is incredibly kind. In counseling, it’s important to work with individuals who practice patience and courtesy, and everyone here is exceptional. I’m still going through my healing process, but I’m grateful for everyone here helping me along the way. I’m much better with how I treat myself and others than I was before starting my counseling sessions.

Finding a provider that will listen and take the time to understand before pinning a diagnosis down is rare, but that's what I've found at Firm Foundations. I feel informed and cared for. The environment is soothing and the staff is very kind. I highly recommend this place!

My life is so much better since I started therapy with Corey and more recently Alexandria for couples counseling. I am grateful for both of them. I've had a lot of counseling throughout my life, they are helping me to continue moving forward in a very positive way. I think I'm a better person because of them.

Although I have only been to one session, I was greeted on time and then made to feel at ease. Frances listened to my concerns and participated in the conversation. She took notes while listening and made helpful comments- she made me feel like I mattered! She made a few suggestions about what we could work on for out next session but when I mentioned what I really wanted to work on, she said that would be great as well. I am confident I have found the right place to help me with my struggles.

The counselors here are fantastic! In addition, the office staff are incredibly well organized- appointments are scheduled a month out, reminders are sent by text and email and billing is prompt and accurate. I've recommended many friends.

Trudy and Corey have both had an immense, positive impact on my mental/emotional health. Truly helped me process through PTSD with EMDR, and made huge strides in that arena in what I consider such a short period of time. As well as multiple relationship issues. Brought clarity to current issues, (ADHD/anxiety) that have roots in my childhood, that are continuing to open my eyes to my self and strengthening my acceptance and love for myself as well as my ability to put up boundaries. This is improving all relationships in my life including with myself. None of these issues are “solved” obviously, but the growth has been substantial and to the point where concrete examples of progress are everywhere, and I’m grateful to everyone there for all of their help and I plan on growing with their help for a long time. PS: I conscientiously have listed specifics in this review in case anyone reading these has had experience with any of them, and so they can rest assured, that from my experience anyway, they would be in competent and compassionate hands.

I have been going to Firm Foundation Counseling for almost 7 months now and I am so very pleased. All the staff are kind! When I had a really bad break down and my appointment wasn’t for another week I just called the office and the lady in the office help me so much even being over the phone. I love this place !!

Since I started working with Corey, I've made tremendous progress. He challenges me to consider different ways to look at situations and suggests practical and effective ways to approach them. I feel better about myself and my family life is better as a result.

Firm Foundations has been a huge part of our “village” for the last several years. My children and I have all been blessed by the great counselors. In addition, they are always willing to work with you when it comes to scheduling and payments. I cannot say enough great things about this group. If I could give 10 stars I would. The staff are beyond amazing. After calling late friday, they called me back immediately and spoke with me with kindness and sincerity that I have not experienced before. Absolutely amazing group, would highly recommend them.

Yesterday was my first appointment with Cory and it was my assessment appointment. I liked Cory very much, but this was my first appointment so it is impossible to form an educated opinion regarding the effectiveness of his or the firm's approach without further discussion and treatment. For that reason, it would be unwise for me to refer anyone for treatment based on my interaction, thus far.
