Everyone in the office is genuinely friendly, helpful and professional. Dr. Reber made the exam extremely comfortable. Even though they didn't accept my vision insurance, they gave the the claim forms and necessary information in order for me to file. So courteous and helpful.

I heard Family Vision was a good place to go, so I thought i would give them a try. I am glad I did. I was very impressed with everyone there and the care they gave. The doctor explained to me about what he found with my eye exam and gave me advice on a good lens to use. Gave me papers on my exam to take with me. I will be using them from now on.

Staff and service were great. However, selection of frames and price was not the best. After spending $1000 on a pair of glass that I am bot 100% satisfied with, I will not be returning for my glasses. My transition lenses are not to the quality I expected and was never asked how dark I wanted them. Frame prices are outrages and the selection choices are limited.

We drove from Midland because very little people take our insurance. The girls were extremely helpful and professional. My daughter was extremely nervous about having to wear glasses and they put her at ease with picking out the perfect ones! Dr. Clay and Dr. Reber were amazing! We will definitely be going back!

This was a very good visit for me as I was considering having a "tune-up" on Lasik surgery done 10+ years ago and wanted to know if the risks outweighed the benefits at my 60+ years of age. Dr. Reber identified a condition in my eye health that would affect the surgery. He further identified what is probably the beginnings of macular degeneration that I had already suspected and had been taking eye vitamins to address. He provided professional guidance on tweaking my vitamin regimen and a more effective practice to monitor the condition.

I have never worn glasses or contacts. I came over for a "fitting" for my sample contacts. They were handed to me across the desk with no instruction. My understanding was that I would be shown how to put them in, etc. I had to get a friend to show me and tell me what kind of solution to buy. I don't even know if they are in properly.

The doctor was fine. The girl at the front with the long curly hair was wonderful. She helped me with my glasses. The two girls that did my testing for plaquenil were not good. They were too busy talking to each other about having to go work at another office instead of helping me know what I was supposed to be doing during the test.

My son and I have been customers for over 8 yrs, I quit buying my glasses there many years ago because your opticians did not know how to do their jobs ( I am an former optician) and were rude. My son comes in by himself for the first time and your opticians treated him like he had never been there before. Giving him poor pricing information, they said HE didn't show his insurance card. Two problems here - 1 - HE is the customer, YOU should have looked at his chart and consider that HE is paying YOU! Remember anything about customer service, whomever is running your front offices is more interested in having the customer cater to the seller, a formula that will never work, obviously some retraining might be in order here, but I doubt it! 2 - Blaming the customer is never a good move and I don't think management will ever get it! I mentioned the poor service in the optical shop 3 yrs ago to the doctor, no change! I've decided to go elsewhere for my eye exams in the future.

I bought Oakley glasses and I understand my prescription is strong and your lab couldn't put new lenses in my new frames. So, I took them to The Eye Site and a week later I had new lenses in my Oakley frames. So whatever lab your using I would think about firing them. Also, your office needs a new blood pressure machine. It took mine and it read 132/103. When you tell your patients "it's been doing that all day", and your patients don't have hypertension it might be time for a more accurate bp machine. I went to my doctors appointment after my eye exam and my bp @ his office was 118/64. A big difference from 132/103.

Even though I appreciate that you take medicaid patients it was ridiculous that we waited around 4 hours to see the doctor. My 4 yo grandson has disabilities which made it very difficult to maintain him for that long. It took a very long time for them to come in which delayed evaluations by the schools. When I picked up his glasses no one really assisted us just handed them to us. I asked for the band that we needed for his glasses to stay on and she knew nothing about it and so the girl we ordered for did not order the band that would fit him. You didn't have any in stock so I'm having to search elsewhere.

I spend a lot of money with y'all, and an appointment that should take less than An hour takes up to 2 hours. I felt like some of my questions/concerns were not properly addressed. I told the doctor that I felt like the lines on the lights were worse with my glasses on and that my prescription should be checked and he did not check my prescription. This is partially my fault as I forgot about it until I had to drive at night last night. I believe that there is a definite issue with my glasses the line through the light seems to be much worse when I am wearing them. Also, I am still concerned about the continuting glare that I have and I am somewhat discouraged that no one there seems to have any ideas how to fix it or even seem to be very concerned about it.

Poor customer service when I first arrived. Never greeted and wasn't provided any information on insurance, except "we don't accept that card". Then had to wait well after the 8:30 scheduled appointment. I sat in the waiting room and other patients were called in before me, even when they arrived after me. My glasses were not fully explained and neither was an opportunity to purchase glasses, which is the reason I went in the office in the first place. I wanted to order and purchase glasses, but no one even offered any assistance and there wasn't that many people in the clinic.

When I last visited on 01/16 for a recheck, not only did I have to wait more than an hour past my appt time, but there was a man in the waiting area waiting for someone to get their exam completed who constantly was viewing and listening to videos on his cell phone with an audio level loud enough to be disturbing to those around him. The office staff said nothing about it and it continued until he was ready to leave. This was in addition to and conflicting with the background music playing over the office audio system.

Was not greeted upon arrival, stood and watched the girl read a packing slip from a box for several minutes after she looked up and said nothing to me. Then She put the slip down and as if I was bothering her by arriving 10 minutes before my appointment asked if she could help me. I checked in both my children and only had to wait a few minutes for their pre test. However, after that we waited a full hour while I watched a doctor wait on two people who walked in after us AND HAD appointments scheduled after ours. (I heard them say their appt time to the receptionist) Finally the doctor called us in and while I had no problems with the care my children received, the customer service continues to decline. I have been a patient of this facility since I was 15 years old with Dr.Harold. I am now 42 and completely floored by the fact that not only was the staff rude and uncaring, but by the fact that Dr. David offered no explaination or apology for wasting my time.

The Doctors & back of office help are fabulous. The two women helping pick out glasses are a very different story. I obviously put her out to dare ask what colors the frames come in. She clearly doesn't need to deal with the public. She stopped helping me in the middle of my question (how dare I ask) and went to help the other woman fitting glasses. She was one of the most incompetent & unprofessional people have ever heard speak. When my staff member came back to help me she was so disgruntled that I went with a frame I didn't even care for just to get it over with. I had to ask about lens options. I doubt I will reschedule or bring my kids back. Such a shame, Doctors are amazing!

I always feel welcome. I pay attention to staff behavior, gestures, interactions with other patients, body language, etc., in any professional setting. Because of that, I tend to be overly critical, sometimes to the point of being too "picky". Other than one staff member chewing gum, the staff was very professional, courteous, friendly, and respectful. They are attentive to the needs of everyone walking in the door. Dr. David Reber was friendly, professional, courteous, and answered all of my questions. I will definitely recommend Family Visions Center to others. Thank you.
