Dr Weldon saw my son for a stye within an hour of calling for an appointment. She did a thorough exam and answered any/all questions we had about treatment. We followed up with her over the weekend with more questions and she genuinely seemed willing to help us and concern for him. She went above and beyond our expectations!

Dr. Dunn is fantastic with adults/kids/teens. He does a through job at checking vision and really gets to know his patients. He’s very knowledgeable when it comes to eye care and even the area (Franklin/Brentwood) in general. For me, he’s the first eye doctor that has got my vision right on the first try. I was pleasantly surprised! The staff is very knowledgeable in picking out glasses and making recommendations for lenses. The front desk staff is very nice as well. I wound highly recommend Dr. Dunn and this office to anyone looking for an eye doctor.

Dr. Dunn was the most thorough, kind, and detailed optometrist I’ve ever experienced. He was able to identify things that doctors have missed throughout the years, and educated me throughout my appointment. Dr. Dunn is incredibly patient and I never felt rushed. The best doctor I’ve ever worked with, hands down! For an extra bonus, I was able to get in the same day as I called!

Recently, I had an emergency that required an after hours visit. They were wonderful to work with, and took care of my issue with the utmost care. Cannot recommend this office enough!

Dr. Short was amazing in her care. She answered all my questions and took the time to be sure I was comfortable with the vision plan she had for me. The response time from from the front office staff when I made an inquiry today and was told hey would need to call me back leaves a little to be desired as I have still not received a phone call back. Luckily this is not an urgent matter, but it does make me wonder what the response time would be if it were urgent.

I have scored everything highly on this survey. My only complaint is the reminder system. I get reminders by both email and text and there are way too many reminders sent! I was in the office this week and I’m already getting reminders to schedule my next well visit appointment. I dont like getting the over abundance of texts and emails. But otherwise, i love this vision care center.

Dr. Weldon is the most thorough, knowledgeable and pleasant eye care doctor I've ever been to. Really! She is patient with my slowness to decide the best lens correction choices during the tests. I was given the opportunity to ask all questions (I had several) and her explanations were easily understood. Most important, during her exam, Dr. Weldon discovered a critical problem with my right eye beginning to grow tissue over the lens (lens is plastic- I had catarachs removed years ago) and that was causing my noticeable vision problem! She then put me in touch with a respected local laser surgeon to correct the problem. Thank you Dr. Weldon!!

I had something in my eye and my current optometrist could not get me in on the same day. I called Family Vision Care and they were able to see me within a hour of calling and making the appointment. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and concerned. Dr. Dunn was also welcoming, friendly and concerned. Dr. Dunn was able to retrieve what was on my eye without me feeling a thing. Dr. Dunn prescribed me antibiotics drops and by the next day my eye felt normal again. Dr. Dunn wanted to see me back in 2 days to check on my eye to make sure the drops helped heal the eye which they did. Dr. Dunn explained every step of the eye exam . I would recommend Family Vision Care and Dr. Dunn to anyone.

Dr. Dunn is always very courteous, as is his staff. He explains my condition in a manner I can understand and explains options that I have, allowing me to make my own decision on what I feel is best for me at any certain time. He guides me with his knowledgeable expertise so that I may make the best decision possible. Since I was six years old, I have had a lot of experience with eye doctors, and now at 70, I am thankful to have Dr. Dunn.

I was extremely satisfied with my visit and eye exam at Family Vision Care. Dr. Dunn was extremely thorough and explained everything that affected my eyes. He answered all the questions I had and was never rushed during my appointment. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. They did everything in a professional and relaxed manner. Chris is amazing! All the front desk ladies are awesome. They are all so kind and friendly! I was not with my son for the pre exam, but I am sure she was great too!
