I had a great experience at your location. I felt very thoroughly taken care of and was educated about my eye health in a great way that helped me understand my symptoms and I can't wait for my new glasses. The neurolens technology seems like it'll change my life. Everyone was very personable and thorough. I had a huge issue at the last place I went and they had 3 tries getting my prescription right with no success. I'm so glad I chose your office to finally get taken care of!

Excellent visit. Though I wanted to see Dr. Hansen (only because he has been my eye Dr since I was a kid), I found my experience very good. He was thorough, had a good personality, and easily answered all questions. I can see why Dr. Hansen decided to join this practice. The other staff members I interacted with were all very warm and lovely. The visit still gave me that homey vibe I've been used to receiving all these years. They have all the latest bells and whistles to take care of your eyes.

Overall your personnel were polite and courteous, and they seemed quite knowledgeable. I find your prices a little high, time will tell if they are of better quality and will be worth the cost. I was surprised you did not have a cash discount for those who do not have insurance. While a 5% discount would make a pleasant benefit to the customer who does not have the advantage of having insurance it would make a very small difference in your profit margin. Customer satisfaction is very important for return business. Personally I would rather not receive regular emails from Eye Center

You would not give my money back. I tried the contacts, couldn’t read. Tried the prisms, couldn’t read had a headache and was sick. Explained all of that and your aggressive office manager (?) who verbally attacked me and said I was being unreasonable. I explained most of my health problems that already cause illness and her response was: do you want to hear about my problems? I said: no, I just want my money back. She said she’d put it in the books and I’d have to use it in store. I told her I lived in Idaho Falls and I was done with their office. I have ptsd and anxiety along with other physical stuff. I left the glasses there, and left feeling sick and attacked. My hands shook in my car all the way home. My normally very low blood pressure was stage one high. I did not sleep well and my BP was high again the next morning. Considering seeing my dr. I cannot step foot inside your place again due to my health and YOU STILL HAVE MY MONEY.

The eye exam process was clear and very thorough. Those assisting Dr. Hurley in that process were professional and pleasant. I’ve worn glasses for almost 60 years and have been through this process many times. Dr. Hurley was fantastic. My ONLY strike against this office comes after the exam. I have to admit that I was very uncomfortable and turned off by the aggressive manner of the “frame fitting” person. My wife felt that same way when she was in. And I understand…the money isn’t made with the exam process…the money is made in the optical shop (frames, lenses, contact’s, etc.). I opted out of that process due 100% to the aggressive nature to which I was exposed.

Doctor Hurley made my daughter feel very uncomfortable at her visit. She has mental health challenges. She has a very difficult time responding to “small talk.” He asked if she was going to school or working. When she replied no, he said “so you’re just breathing and taking up space.” Then he laughed and none of the rest of us found that funny at all. He also made her feel uncomfortable when she refused contacts. He said “you can get nose piercings but not use contacts?” It’s none of his business that she chooses to have nose piercings. She left feeling awful and will never return. He has lost my business as well.

I have literally been trying to get contacts to work for me for 20 years and never have been able to get any that work with my unique astigmatism and dry eyes. They took the time in one visit to get it right and I can now wear contacts for the first time in my life, all day, without going blurry or irritating! Thank you!

The appointment itself was well executed and I felt informed and well served, the only part I did not appreciate was the amount of time I had to wait, I showed up several minutes before my appointment time and had brought my paperwork pre-filled out as instructed, but then wasn’t seen until quite a bit after my scheduled appointment. The time the appointment itself took was as predicted but since I had to wait so long I still was late getting back to work even though I thought I had built in enough cushion in my schedule

Overall it was a good visit. At one point there was a test the MA was doing and I couldn’t complete it. I asked her not to try anymore because it was getting uncomfortable. She promptly put the equipment down and just walked out of the room. I thought that was really odd that she didn’t say anything on what to expect next since this was my fist time to a eye doctors.

They were extremely friendly & attentive to my needs. I am light sensitive and they dimmed the lights and made sure of my comfort. For being my first time there I was comfortable and relaxed. This for me is not normal in a first time seeing a doctor. He took an interest in me and really strived to help me with my needs in eye care. I have had some TBI and this affected my eyes & vision. He was the only one in Idaho that I would trust with my eye care.

Dr Hurley is a great Dr. His,"Sales" staff really needs to back off when you say no, especially when knowing the financial hardship their patient is dealing with. No means NO! Also, when you tell a patient to specifically ask for you when you come in the next morning and you're not there and again the sales staff does the opposite of what you were told the day before and tries to get more $$$ out of you, you lose good clients. I will never go back there.

Greetings as you come into the door, they remembered me and had a smile. I didn't have to wait they came and got me. The young girl was so nice and explained each machine and what it checks for. The Dr. came in right after everything was checked about my eyes. He was very nice in explaining the pictures of my inner eye. All was great and when I left I knew all about my eyes.

The staff at Eyecare of Rigby are all so professional and genuinely nice. I’ve been struggling with double vision for years and have been to 3 other doctors seeking help. They told me that it was not possible to correct my problem Dr Hurley gave me a two hour exam and gave me hope. I tried on the lenses that he put together for me and I could see single vision from all directions and distances. It was like a miracle to me. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing help with this or other vision problems.

I have been struggling for months with my eyes. After trying so many different things and not getting anywhere I heard your commercial and felt inspired to go to your clinic. I found everyone to be kind and helpful but most of all after only a couple of days I feel like my eyes are getting back to normal. Four years ago my husband and I were in a very bad car accident that should have killed us. We've been told we are the miracle couple because we survived with minimal outward issues but honestly, we have spent the last 4 years really struggling to maintain and get our bodies back to at least a new normal. To have my eyes go crazy was more than I felt I could deal with. Even tho it was a simple fix- it was one more thing. We were amazed at the technology that made it so fast, painless and actually fun for my 5 year old daughter. This was her first time to see an eye doctor. She is far sighted and we were so impressed with how Dr. Hurley was able to diagnose and provide what we needed so quickly. He's easy to relate to, fun to talk with and my kids who are so shy opened up to him and enjoyed their visit. In addition, Nancy, who helped Clara pick out glasses was so helpful and went out of her way to accommodate us. Great place to be for all your eye care needs.I got my first prescription eyeglasses there. And when I was looking for special eye wear for gas brazing (welding) Dr. Hurley took the task to create lenses for my welding goggles. The out come was excellent and I still use them. He also helped me deal with a detached retina. He is always caring and explains what is going on with your vision and offers good solid information and support. I am glad to be a patient there. Oh my goodness! We had a wonderful exprience at EyeCare of Rigby. Both of my girls were so well taken care of, they loved the ladies that helped them pick out their glasses. Dr. Hurley was kind, thourough, and really took his time with each of us. I didn't feel that he or his staff were in a hurry to get us in and out of the office. We felt valued, cared for, and were all still happy when we left the office. It was my first appointment with Dr. Hurley and his staff as a new patient, and I was very impressed from the minute I walked in the door. The front office staff was very friendly in greeting me and very helpful through the registration process. I really liked the high tech equipment used during my examination, and I was really impressed with how knowledgeable and professional Dr. Hurley was in explaining my eye health in layman's terms. This office was wonderful. They were able to get us in as a walk in for an emergency when no other office could be bothered. Once we were there, the staff was incredibly professional, quick, and kind. They were patient with my four children that were with me. The doctor was knowledgeable and kind. He was willing to take the time to make sure I was comfortable with his assessment of the situation. I will be using their office from now on for all of our eye care needs.

I'm not sure, I have mixed emotions, I always appreciate the help I receive and I feel the examination was complete but at the same time I don't feel I was appreciated as a customer because I was there as a VA choice patient and you didn't make the same on me as you did my wife that we had to pay for. I have been there twice and we changed Drs. for my wife cause I thought I was treated fair but this time I had the darndest argument about me getting my glasses arranged thru you when I know I did. I did not go anyplace else. Maybe things have changed, heaven only knows the Govt. does all the time but even if you don't agree I EARNED what I received I know I did and I know my year in VIET NAM was hell on me and crippled my body because of it and I lost good friends over there,,then all I can say is thanks anyway I'll go else where next time. The thing that convinced me is I've been there twice and my wife once and she was invited to your open house but I guess I wasn't worth it so I wasen't invited.

This last visit I was very impressed with Cory. She did an excellent job helping me to find the frames that I wanted. The office has an nice atmosphere and the staff are kind and friendly. I was able to finish my paperwork easily and quickly on the i-pad. I appreciate how thorough the exam was. I'm also glad they explained all of my options and the details of my insurance coverage.
