Always love the service here. Jaya is an amazing doctor. She's always multi-tasked all 3 of my children and myself for our eye appointments. She talks to each of them and treats them all with respect. She's very patient and capable of working with my special needs child. Even when he was primarily non-verbal, she was always able to provide the very best care. My only critique, isn't about the clinic specifically, as much as it is eye care in general. I love being able to try on new glasses, but I can't always afford much more than my insurance will cover. It would be great to see a clinic merge the affordability and technology of today with the experience of picking out new lenses. I imagine we're still a long way off from that however.

6 yr old had her first eye appointment Wednesday afternoon and her eyes were dialted. Dr said if they are still big to come back. 48 hours later her pupils were till dialted. I was charged $65 for the follow up. I paid $10 for the initial appointment. Doesn’t seem right to me.

I was very impressed that she called me back the next day to tell me she had consulted another professional about my test and felt a visit to the Reyna specialist was called for. Dr Britt was fantastic. I always hate going to get my eyes checked. It makes me anxious when they click forwards and backwards and ask me which is better. It is so stressful for me. Dr Britt went slow and I felt very comfortable with the pace of the eye exam. He explained what he was doing and why. I appreciated it so much..very soon into the exam .y stress level went way down. Also, I did purchase my new glasses there. The sales lady allowed me to independently search for the best frames for me. She did offer suggestions, which did not affect my ability to search for a pair that was right for me.

Had me come in prior to authorizing insurance, had both mine and my fiancés incorrect. Had me sitting in the office for 3 hours due to their own inability to verify. Told me I would have to pay out of pocket for my script. There was no respect to be had but rather was humiliated and made to feel as if I had done something wrong. Will not be back.

Front desk service was not as friendly. I think the lady was frustrated that we couldn't access the forms to update our medical information online and expressed that like she was frustrated with us and not the computer. So, we did not feel welcomed. However, the staff that took us back to the room and, of course, Dr. Britt, were all friendly, welcoming, and awesome!

I saw Dr. Jenzten for 20 years and was apprehensive of changing to a new doctor but Dr. Britt is great. He takes time to listen and educate which at my last visit was very important. He explained some side effects of medication I was taking that both the specialist and primary care physician did not explain. The explanation was extremely beneficial.

I owe a huge thank you to Eye Care Plus for not only seeing me in a major time of need, but exceeding my expectations and taking such wonderful care of me. I was driving across the country from Los Angeles to the east coast when my left eye went blurry, I could not correct it. No matter what I did, it remained blurry. I arrived in Amarillo to a very friendly and caring staff, and the doctor not only took care of me, and had my vision back to 100%, but he explained what was going on, helped me find a nearby pharmacy for my prescription, and explained the future steps to prevent this from happening again/or what to do in case it did happen again. I am forever thankful to Eye Care Plus.

Dr. Pathapati has seen my children and I for a long time now. Not only is she knowledgeable and adaptable, she's kind and personable. My son has autism and was primarily non-verbal when first started seeing her. She was able to adjust her technique to him. And regardless if he would answer her, she's always talked to him like first, so he knows the visit is about him. As the years have passed, he's now able to answer her directly. I have always appreciated her level of care and attentiveness. She always explains what we're doing, what the plan is going forward, her recommendations and asks questions about how we would like to proceed. It's so hard finding doctors that not only include you in your healthcare, but take the time to make sure you understand it.

I was real impressed with all the professionalism that the gentleman who got all the prep work and he explained everything we were doing. Dr Pathapati was very professional and explained everything very well to me she allowed me the time to ask questions if I needed. The only thing that frustrates me is I was told they were going to get an appointment with a referral and they would call me the next day with it. I waited for the call and it didn’t happen. I called them back the day after that and I was told there was nothing they could find and I explained that when I left the day of my appointment what they told me, I was put on hold and they said they found it and apologized and I said I understood. The gal said she would get it done and call me that afternoon with the appointment. That never happened so I am frustrated. I really enjoy Dr Pathapati so much.

Dr Britt is amazing! He made sure my prescription was correct and better than the last dr I saw a yr ago! He's very kind. He would repeat steps if I wasn't sure on picking a number. My husband saw him last yr and loved him so I wanted to give him a try this yr. I have no regrets! I noticed he wears a fanny pack. Same as the one he had last yr at my husband's appt. No clue what he carries in it lol. Not only is he amazing, the ladies at the front desk r also amazing! The girl that did all the tests prior to being put in a room was awesome. I don't remember her name tho. I'm in a wheelchair so it makes some of those tests hard to reach. If one didn't come out like it should, we redid it. She never got frustrated with me

A friend from work recommended Dr. Britt since we are fairly new to Amarillo and needed new eyeglasses. We could not have been more impressed! It was by far the most thorough, personable and pleasant eye appointment I've had. He took his time making sure everything was explained and any questions were answered. Most of the time it's just get 'em in and get 'em out. Rather than just answering the routine questions asked of me, I now actually understand why they are asked and what the process is all about. He also saw my spouse and I together in one room rather than individually which we liked .He was funny, genuinely kind and obviously really enjoys his job.

This was my first visit and I was very pleased with almost everyone I dealt with. The one person that I was very unimpressed by, was Dr Leon. He came across as insecure with his responses and his interaction with me. I was very specific about an issue I've been having with headaches and while he was diligent in creating my prescription for bi-focal glasses, I never felt like he gave me a concise answer to my questions about my frequent headaches. I was sure he hasn't been licensed very long and did a google search to find out he was licensed in 2021. I'm sure he will be a good optometrist one day, but I would not go back to him now.
