The staff at the clinic did an awesome job making me feel comfortable that they are doing everything they can to keep me safe during the reopening after the stay at home order was lifted. They made sure they did not have to many patients waiting so you could social distance. They took patient temperatures before entering the building. They wore masks and asked that patients do as well. They also made sure they disinfected any equipment or glasses before and after they were touched.

Everything was very good up to picking new frames. Dr. Bush was excellent and explained things and took the time needed for me. The optical department left something to be desired for me. I need titanium or plastic frames because of allergies. There was a very very limited amount of titanium frames. While the lady helping me did her best she did not appear to be informed on frames and money of the other 3 ladies in that area seemed to want to leave their computers to offer any assistance, although one did offer a few words if help. That part of my appointment was very disappointing.

I owe Elk River Eye Clinic a big thanks and would recommend them to anyone. I was not a patient of theirs. I had a piece of metal stuck in my eye, which my doctor couldn't remove. They sent me to this clinic. The staff got me in almost immediately. The doctor was very professional and understanding. Thanks guys.

They have a large selection of beautiful frames to choose from and I enjoyed working with Trina while picking out my new glasses. She is fun, very friendly and helpful. I went in with an issue that was potentially a little frightening with having flashes and floaters in my eye. After having some tests, I was assured that all was well. Dr Hess explained what was going on, and he gave me a hand out to explain further. I appreciate the team at Elk River Eye Clinic. The staff is always helpful and kind.

Well from the first person to greet me when I walked in to the moment I left I was greeted by really friendly, relatable people. I had the best experience with an eye doctor and clinic as I have never received before. Dr. Brooke was great, took the time to make sure my exam was completed and worked with me to understand my issues and make sure my prescription was correct. I would recommend her and the clinic to anyone. The optical staff was very friendly and helpful. I purchased new frames and Anna Lin was wonderful to work with.

I looked at some frames, but selection is limited, and I didn't really have the time to spend looking. I live in Andover, so the likeliness of me going back to Elk River for frames, when I would drive by several other locations between, probably won't happen. I will always go to Elk River for the Dr visit. I love the office environment, cleanliness and new Dr is fantastic.

Sherry and Julie very helpful and informative to me on purchasing my first set of glasses. They gave great advice as did Cindy with helping on the insurance end of things. Dr Bush was great and very helpful and more thurough then Allina was in past. thanks to the staff for making a positive experiance!

From the receptionist to the technicians, and of course Dr. Hess best service ever. The techs are so understanding and very patient. Dr. Hess answers my questions and explains things in terms that I can understand. I have always been treated with kindness and respect.

It was all really quite comfortable for me. The technicians and optometrist were quite well behaved and competent. I purchased some "retro" (mid '50's-60's) looking frames at a decent price. My own preferences, and definition of "retro," run a bit older than theirs (art deco/Bauhaus: 1920's-'30's), but that's probably just me.

I was happy with everything about my visit. I thought Dr Hess did a good job of explaining the cyst on my eyelid and gave me good information about a possible follow up with an opthamology surgeon. The exam was good and I also thought the retinal exam with the woman was good. I looked at some glasses afterward and received good help there too.

My visit was great. The only issue was no one was at the front desk when I came in and I waited about 5 minutes before someone came out. Maybe have a door chime sound when the door opens to know to check the front. Otherwise, excellent as usual.

After picking my frame and showing to the sales person so she could record the model, she told me there is a place to pick a discount (10-30%) from a bin. She also told me my frames come with clip on sun shades. During the fitting I was refused both because "these deals do not pertain to my frames." I was told they would, so lesson learned.

I purchased the same basic glasses for less than half that I was quoted from Elk River Eye Clinic. You are either really over charging your customer or you need to do a much better job of negotiating with your vendors. Either way I can't justify the extra cost because everyone is nice.

I was happy with the appointment, but the phone conversation with the receptionist, Kelly, before the appointment was very poor costumer service. Tone of voice, lack of understanding my needs, and unfriendly response was not best practice for a receptionist in a customer service field of work. Everyone at Elk River Eye Clinic has been a pleasure to work with, but this one phone call has provided a different impact on my experience.

My experience is always pretty good at your clinic. One thing you need to inform people of is that if you wear contact lenses, there is an additional $79 charge. That's a pretty expensive surprise after the exam. Let people know when they check in, or before, what the cost to them is going to be.

The people and the service are great. However, Their medical history forms are not good: They have too small of a font, especially for an eye patient! They dont leave enough room to enter the requested data, and they ask you to use erasable ink on a plastic form. Left-handed people are almost guaranteed to smear the whole thing. Some of the questions seem poorly thought out as well. What is the use of asking me if I have ever had a headache? I would expect every person on the planet to answer yes.

I really liked the doctor who gave my exam. I think the resulting prescription will be very accurate. I had a lot of good advice in my selection of glasses as well. All in all, a very good experience.

The doctor put drops in my eyes and left the room. Mi heard him next door giving another exam, and waited and waited for his return. I don't know exactly how long I waited, but I know it was too long. I spoke with someone at the desk, got my prescription, and left. After all that, the doctor was still with someone else.

Dr. Hess is very good. The only reason that I didn't get my glasses through you is because the last pair I bought from you were very expensive and did not work for me. I needed progressive lenses and the assistant there should have known that the lenses I picked were too small for that type of lense. I brought the glasses back several times telling staff that I could not see and they said that they were the right prescription and there wasn't anything they could do. So after this last visit I was going to get another pair of glasses and I told them about my last situation. Do you think they offered me a discount - no! I went and ordered my glasses somewhere else and saved 40% over your cost with digital progressive lenses. That is huge and you need to look into giving discounts and extending your service to include other discount vision plans.

My issue was I paid $39 to get so e type of scan so I didn't need drops to dilate eyes. Doctor had wrong patient on computer so he put drops in. Then realized he didn't need to do this, so the rest of the afternoon I had eyes dilated and didn't need to. Was changed for this, thought that was bad customer service

I think it would be VERY helpful, and professional, to let people know that there is a charge, and how much, for a contact lens fitting. People need to have the option to decline a fitting if they don't feel it necessary.

It took quite a while to have my old prescription sunglasses changed to a new sunglasses without a prescription in them. It seemed like the woman helping me didn't understand the computer system for ordering. Very pleased with the rest of my experience there.

I was the only person in the your asablishment when I arrived for my appointment , after I finished my paper work, I still had to wait a good fifteen minutes before I was seen by the doctor. I thought that sucked. Everything else was excellent .
