My journey for eye glasses this year was a successful one. The exam went well. The office staff were kind and very helpful. I was very pleased with the eye glass frame selection and Leah did an excellent job explaining my insurance coverage (or lack of as it had changed since my last exam),

On my way home, I had an eye emergency. I called and became a walk in, since I didn't know where else to go. I am a patient. They treated me wonderfully and calmly, although I was a wreck. Took 16 pictures of both eyes.. retina and back of eyes. I am sincerely grateful for how I was handled. Highly recommend.

Kevin in the glasses department is not always forthcoming in providing glasses. I've had multiple instances where I had to return to the office to have my or my wife's glasses corrected.

Satisfied with my visit. Dr. Mark Boas was very thorough and explained the findings in an easy to understand way. Only problem was that the half strength eye drops gave me blurred double vision which didn't completely wear off until the following morning. I had a tough time driving myself home. I did not have this problem with the eye drops given to me by my previous eye doctor.

I came to pick up glasses. Would like to have sat down rather than standing by the secretaries and being given the glasses in the walkway as though they were in a big hurry. I had a 1:00 appt. The woman was very nice, but I was really rushed. Surprised that this happened. Very disappointed with this hurry up, we have more people coming in attitude...there was an empty area.🙁

I have been a client of Boas for many years and they are excellent at providing top not helpful service and high quality lenses and frames. The optometrists are professional and competent as well as personable. Especially Kyrstin Britt., she has been a great help in selecting my frames and making sure I got just the right lenses. She really knows everything about eyes and makes the process a pleasure when buying new glasses. Thanks Kyrstin!

Very thorough exam and Kathryn is very Kona down sweet. I did not, however, appreciate sitting in the exam room for over an hour waiting for her. The tests that the tech did took 10-15 minutes. The rest of the time I just sat. In my profession if I made a client wait that long I would have very few clients. And having to call the arrival number 11 times before some would answer is just wrong.

Boas Vision is always extra helpful to work with you on abnormal eye issues and the opticians who assist with glasses choices and the various lens types, and maintenance are well-versed and patient. I have been fortunate and privileged over the years to have the Boas folks take care of my eyes and accessories. Sure, they’re experts in their field, but they are wonderful people as well. Highly recommend!!!!

This was a very thorough eye exam. I appreciate the explanations the doctor offered at each stage. Also the technician was very encouraging throughout the first tests. Overall seemed a very competent and friendly staff. The only negative is that it took an extremely long time to get the exam scheduled. Would highly recommend a way to clear the backlog of exams to be able to provide a more ready solution to patients.

She answered all of my questions, and explained everything to me. I am anxious about my eyesight as I age, and she was able to explain all of the "odd" things that are happening to me, and this calmed my fears. Our family just loves Dr. Katherine. She seems really invested in the care she provides and we feel she is working hard in our appointments to cover all bases and support our families vision needs so we can be successful in the world. My daughter would not be successful in school today without Dr. Katherine's support. I do wish she could better explain to my daughter what is going on with her eyes. I have worked hard to understand the information/visual issues and do the best I can, but as my daughter is getting older and has some unique vision issues, I wish Dr.Katherine would work (and it is a lot of work to figure out how to simplify complex topics!) to include my daughter in the conversations to promote her understanding and involvement in the care of her own eyes. I love how your whole office just seems like one big happy family. I do wish our appointments weren't so long.

I do not appreciate being forced to purchase eyewear from you. In addition, I consider it a poor business practice to charge for pupillary measurements. Also, your staff behind the counter is rude, quite annoyed that I had requested a copy of my prescription. Your greeters are insensitive and patronizing. The technician also rudely ignored my questions about the tests being performed. When a customer has an appointment at 2PM, do not keep them waiting for over half an hour - that is rude. One positive was my visit with the doctor who was friendly and knowledgeable.

My ophthalmologist (Mrs. Boas) was super nice and took time to explain to me “floaters” and found out my old ophthalmologist perscribed be a higher lens then I needed and didn’t catch the astigmatism in my left eye, which she did. I’m very impressed and felt “valued” and “important” not like I was being rushed through to get in more patients. Maybe it’s because it’s a smaller family practice and not a larger one, but they really try and I will definitely stick with them. Rereading this it sounds like a paid advertisement but it’s an honest opinion from a brand new patient and I would highly suggest switching. Also the front secretaries were really helpful in explaining my new insurance benifits. Also there was a man (not sure his name) who helped a women who had broken her glasses. He contacted the manufacturer of her glasses to see if he could get the part (which unfortunately they weren’t able to) but gave her a temporary fix to get her though the next month (for FREE) which I was impressed with.

Super Nice folks here. Always very accomodating. They fit me in same day when I had an issue. I wish they had more funky eye glasses to select from. To get a cool pair of glasses, I'd probably want to shop for different frames. But, I get contacts mostly and would highly recommend them. The doctor I've seen last several years recently left. That seems to happen in this industry. I think docs move around a lot or freelance. But, it has been more stable here than other places. Front desk staff always super friendly and that makes a huge difference. I appreciate that friendly customer service aspect.

I was having a problem with being unable to remove my contact lens, and called to get some guidance as to what to do. I was immediately told to come to the office and I would be taken care of. I did that, and the lens was removed. Apparently the lens needs to be replaced and the doctor took care of ordering a new one. The lens was adhering to my eye too much which did not allow me to remove it easily. Thank you, thank you, thank you for taking care of me and providing such wonderful, timely and effective care! I had a great experience as a new patient. I was greeted by the friendly receptionists who outlined the expectations of the appointment to me. The waiting room was comfortable and clean. I was then brought back EARLY!! The technician helped me understand the different diagnostic testing and was very professional and friendly. I then met with Dr. Marie, who was phenomenal! She listened to all of my needs and concerns. I hadn't been to the eye doctor in many years and at no point was I shamed for this. Martha helped to fit me for my glasses and was so pleasant and honest about how they looked. She was very thorough explaining my insurance benefits. I had a fantastic experience and I am excited to find my new eye home!

I've been going to Boas Vision for a long time. They are really good. I see Dr. Suzanne Boas, but I've seen her husband and others too. I've recommended them to my family and others because I know they'll have a good experience. Over the years I've had contacts and glasses of various sorts. But now I just wear one contact: I use that eye for seeing distance and my other eye for reading. I came to this after describing my habit of taking out one contact for extensive reading. Who would have thought that the perfect solution for me was just wearing one? Suzanne Boas! This is personal, and so is she. I have been to several Optometrists including Pearl Vision and another across the road from my home. I stated I have previous eye damage from accidental exposure to a type of acid years ago leaving me blind for two months-my eyes are sensitive. The test that touches the eye has scratched my eyes so bad I did not return. The test was done and the lens 'script was still wrong. NOT with BOAS. You guys are GREAT !!

We were referred to the office by our optometrist. That is a little scary with your child. Once we got there, I wasn't scared at all. The girls in the front are super friendly and welcoming. When in the exam room, the doctor was very informative and patient with my daughter (she is very shy). I was offered different options for her and did not feel pressured to go in any particular direction. **Bonus for the kids...they have a treasure chest with little toys to pick from after the appointment.

Great experience here last Saturday for my family. The staff are wonderful as well as the doc! The choices of frames are very high end names with reasonable pricing and endless options. Really glad we changed to this practice.

It's a great place. Everyone is friendly and helpful, from the doctors to the staff. I found this practice by looking for someone who could deal with crossed eyes that aren't obviously crossed. I now have glasses that help me see clearly by addressing my eyes' inability to work together.

Very happy with my treatment at Boas Vision with Dr. Lynott. I have had severe dry eye for about 3 years and was being treated by another physician who never offered more than a prescription for Restasis. Dr. Lynott gave me a regimen to follow and within a month my eyes have been so much better. Very disappointed that I suffered for almost 3 years with that sand in my eye feeling quite a bit.

I was having a severe problem with my eye. It was a Saturday and I was hoping I could find an eye doctor. They were closing shortly but told me come over. I was in a lot of eye discomfort. I cannot express all my gratitude for the opportunity to be seen. I got a prescription and seen great improvement and relief by the next day. The diagnosis was perfect. I believe in a busy world this was truly a caring physician to tell me to come right over. Thank you!! I was so grateful to get some relief.
