I’ve never had a problem coming here to get my eyes checked. The process is always gentle and speedy. Even when the whole family goes, I never feel rushed, or inconvenienced in any way. Very painless and friendly.

Upon walking in, there is a good sized waiting room with plenty of chairs and a children's corner area that has some entertainment for them along with an tv that the chairs are facing just in case the wait time is long (it wasn’t for me) Everyone was so kind and welcoming. The doctor provided me with some insight on what I was dealing with and I am pleased to say that she was very open to answering any and all questions without judgment. Afterwards, then I needed to find glasses frames, I was explained what my insurance covered very clearly and although I took a little bit to find the frames I thought were best, the person that aided me in my search was very patient and understanding. This location will definitely be my go to for any and all eye doctor appointments in the future. I fully recommend.

I've been coming here for only the last couple of years but I really like how they break down and use my dual coverage. I feel like I'm getting what I'm supposed to compared to prior places I went in the past with dual coverage. I think the two ladies at the front office are great. They are always willing to help and are completely professional with perfect balance of reserved and quirkiness. I think they have a great selection of frames but could offer just a little more. Don't get me wrong it's not a small selection by any means but I'm a little picky when it comes to my frames.

5 stars I have already recommended Desert Family Eye Care to my family, some friends, and some coworkers. The appointment was kept on time. The staff were well informed and courteous. The doctor was professional and informative. And there was a wide selection of glasses to choose from but the process was made easy with the help of the assistant.

Dr Choi and his support staff are wonderful, friendly & compassionate. They have a candle in the waiting room that they light when you've had to say goodbye to your pet! They help me lift my old dog into the back of my SUV. Dr. Choi has the equipment to run the blood tests in office, no waiting. My groomer found a mass on my Milo's rectum. Dr. Choi's office takes walk ins! I didn't know I came in after the walk in hours. I was crying....they took Milo in. They removed the mass & my boy is doing great. I wish I would've known about Dr. Choi when my 12 year old rescue boy was just an adolescent. He could have done bone surgery on the hip/legbone that is hurting him now. Wish I would have found this Vet sooner!

The staff is absolutely incredibly efficient, friendly, and responsive. I'm always able to get an urgent appointment when I have issues with my eyes. Dr jolly is always friendly, kind and encouraging and gives me care options for resolution of my eye issue. I am so grateful to everyone here including the eyeglass lens technicians especially Yolanda she's my personal specialist!

I love this Eye Dr! I have been to several eye doctors in the high desert. I feel as though many eye doctors jack up the prices of their eyeglasses and services. A family member suggested I try this doctor and I’m so glad I did ! Her exams are thorough and I feel so comfortable with her expertise. She adjusted my contact prescription from my previous eye doctor and she was right on target, my vision is now crisp and clear. The exam prices are reasonable and I can get an entire year of contacts for the price I paid at my old Dr for a 6 month supply!

All personnel were professional and courteous. The doctor was thorough and explained the cause of my vision change. She gave me options correct my vision. The technicans were very helpful in finding my frames. They also explained the diffference and usage between the 3 types of lenses I could use. Also, showed me the comparision cost breakdown for my pair of glasses with the different lenses. Very helpful in my decision making.

A very clean, professional, impressive team, office and doctor. The process as a new patient was seamless and easy and informative. I even mentioned this to the doctor. Very well organized and efficient process. Starting in one room an initial examination. Then to another room equipped with standard eye test equipment similar to the DMV. Then to a third room that had the most advanced measuring and retinal scan equipment. It was over and diagnosed immediately with recommendations for moving forward.

Everyone at Desert Family Eye Care were very friendly, professional and courteous. We were taken back quickly for the preliminary tests and then after being taken to another exam room the doctor came right in and completed the final exams and explained in detail all of our exam outcomes and answered all of our questions. We were then escorted to the “shopping area” where we were given plenty of time to look among the hundreds of glasses available. After making our selections the insurance allowance was explained and our glasses were measured and fitted. Everyone was very efficient and professional, and the level of knowledge and experience was extraordinary.

I appreciate that the appointments are on time, minimal wait. Dr. Jolly is very kind, patient and empathetic, understanding and makes me feel valued. The eyeglass technician Yolanda always provides excellent service to me and she knows my taste and required fit in frames. This last time she went right to a pair and picked them out and they fit perfect, and I couldn't have done better, saved us both alot of time. Yolanda is fantastic! she takes excellent care of patients. Also the front office staff is very efficient, and they always work with you, I can get a same day appointment for emergency exam.

The staff is so nice! I happened to be in a hurry so thought I would only be able to do my eye exam and leave and have to come back at a later time to get my glasses. The receptionist saw me looking at glasses and came over to take my eye glass order so she could get me out and on my way. I have been coming here since I was 12 and I almost always have an excellent experience here. Even with the new ownership, the service is great.

First time needing glasses. So I’m not sure if they’re normally so expensive but. $400+ for frames without all the extras seemed a bit much. My experience was amazing! I did not have to wait long. The staff was very friendly and it was my first time working with Dr. Jolly and i just loved her. I do not yet have my new contacts but I am expecting them to be just what I need.

Excellent experience!!! From beginning to end, it was an amazing experience. The staff was incredibly patient and welcoming. As far as the eye examines, I was very impressed with the attention to detail and the in depth of all they do; put my mind at ease and gave me a piece of mind that I'm not going blind just need glasses. When I spoke with the optometrist, she was very knowledgeable and polite, I asked many questions and she answered every single one and would ask me if I had anything else I had concerns about; I did not feel rushed or pressured, I completely encourage everyone that is looking for a great new optometrist to come visit Desert Family Eye Care. The gal was cleaning up. It wasn’t our fault you were running late! You took up our extra time yet you were unwillingly to give any of your extra time. That’s okay! You lost the sales of several pair of glasses and I got a better deal elsewhere. Your loss. I/we were not impressed with your lack of care or consideration.

Jolly is very rushed at seeing patients. She walks in an hour after your appointment time and then asks questions then answers for you. THE STAFF is great, unfortunately I won’t return because of Jolly. If she leaves or another Eye Dr. comes in I’ll return.

She is exceptionally knowledgeable, very pleasant, very thorough, took the time to answer all our questions, and gave us an honest evaluation as to if/when we may need to update our prescriptions. Prior to my visit with Desert Family Eye Care my only experience with an optometrist has come from the large chain stores. Due to a change in my insurance I had to look for a new place to get my glasses. Desert Family Eye Care was recommended by a family member and I could not have been happier with my experience. They were able to get me a same day appointment for my eye exam, I was called back on time for my appointment, and the treatment from the staff from start to finish was some of the best service I have ever had anywhere. My wife and I both picked out new glasses and I was very impressed by the selection they had available. Desert Family Eye Care will now be my optometrist for as long as I live in the High Desert!

Dr. Jolly and Dr. Wallis were kind, professional and conducted a thorough examination of mine, my moms, and my two daughters eyes. I've had horrible eyes since I was a small child and Dr. Wallis iss the only Dr. I've ever gone to that does extensive testing on my eyes to get the correct prescription. I always appreciate his extra effort and am happy that Dr. Jolly will be following in his footsteps as a caring and proficient eye doctor.

Went in for my yearly checkup and was surprised to see a new Doctor! She was extremely nice and she asked me right away if I had been told that I had high cholesterol due to something she saw in my eyes ( it turns out that she was right) as always, the entire staff was very nice. Sad to see my old doctor is retiring, but good for him and I think we will be well served by the new doctor.

I had to wait a whole 3 minutes, lol. You certainly can't beat that. I have been a patient of this facility for about the last 30 years and have always received the most professional treatment you can imagine. Although my regular Doctor retired last December, I was treated in the same familiar manner by his partner. After a few minutes, I felt very comfortable with him. The same can be said about the front office staff. They have always been cordial and professional, answering virtually any question I may have had. I simply cannot imagine a group of individuals that would be more proficient then the people at the Desert Family Eye Care.
