Service was good but took much time just for cleaning so I got charged twice, which is not very reasonable. Prices were never correct as per the quote given. I ended up paying more than expected. The staff could have informed me the additional charges before conducting it. I wasn’t aware of the charges beforehand. Won’t be coming here again

Everything was great. But my pain was less. Since the vist I have alot fo pain in one spesific tooth which was alternating with gums the below teeth. Now the pain is unbearable. I'm not sure is the doctor hit something. Im unable to even touch the tooth which was not the issue before

The office is really clean and the staff is incredibly friendly. I just found it to be a little pricey. It was also my first time and no one explained prices before I started or a breakdown after the procedure, so that felt blindsiding.

Consistent and Reliable Dental Experience! The receptionists, hygienists, assistants and Dr. Arin are always friendly and kind. I've been a patient for about 2 years now and no longer have the same level of dread or anxiety about visiting for regular cleanings or fillings. Dr. Arin is patient in explaining the process and the team is lovely re working with you to develop a realistic dental care plan. Plus - direct billing for insurance, phew!

Going to the dentist is easy at Dentistry on Queen West. The hygienist is friendly, on time, explain s things well, and provide the latest innovations in treatment. The dentists are very smooth at providing freezing and excellent at their work. Booking appointments is a breeze and the office collects the insurance coverage directly so you only pay what your insurance does not cover (instead of paying the total fee and waiting for the insurance reimbursement).

I came to Dentistry on Queen West a few years ago based on what appeared to be a very welcoming and friendly environment. I had been put off over the years at other dentists' offices by what I could best describe as "scolding" for not following proper dental care at home, and for feeling uncomfortable when I went to the dentist. The philosophy of care and compassion at Dentistry on Queen West is seen in every detail, from the front desk to the hygienists to the dentists. So welcoming and they encourage me and make me want to return!

I was pleased with the facility and staff - very clean and new, and all very friendly. It was my first visit, as I had a slight emergency with a cracked tooth needing repair. I was unaware that my appointment was not to fix my tooth, but to assess it and book me for a follow up. It was my understanding when I agreed to come in that it would have been fixed that day as that was what I requested on the phone, but instead I spent $150 on just a consultation. I made the decision to cancel my follow up and just use my normal trusted dentist because they got me in sooner than this place.

Great service and high-quality equipment and information. The only issue is that my insurance only covered a partial amount, which was not discussed with me prior to the appointment. Pre-approvals are necessary to ensure clients are not surprised at the end of their appointment. As an Indigenous client, I would suggest the clinic connect with NIHB to ensure direct billing for Indigenous clients.

I have had mixed experiences with Dentists, Dr. McMartin is definitely one of the good ones. He took the time to explain the issues and non-issues, making sure my concerns were met and addressed potential problems, and laid out all the options. I don’t enjoy going to the Dentist but he has made it less stressful. I hope that the future visits are as good as this one. His assistant and the administrative staff were also fantastic and friendly. I felt very comfortable in this office.

I needed to see a dentist ASAP as my dog accidentally knocked my front tooth loose one month before my wedding and the staff were amazing at getting me in as quickly as possible. All the staff are always friendly and personable. The dentist had me take an x ray and gave me the options I needed and told me to follow up if there was any additional questions or concerns and to see my progress! Love this office so much!

Everything is great . Been coming to this location for 6 years. Front desk and hygienists are all friendly and professional . I think the prices have increased as my benefits have no changed and now there seems to be a minimal difference of a charge . Wish they would work within my benefits as there are many many other dentists in this small radius that will. The dentist himself seems friendly havnt had much interaction with either of them as I havnt had to have anything outside of cleanings done on my teeth . Would be nice if the dentist popped in to check each time though.

I feel like the clouds opened up and this office floated down in front of me. I had braces for five years and retainers for ten... I've had some very bad experiences across several ortho practices, ranging from insults to gaslighting to forcing unnecessary surgeries, so I tend to go into places hoping for the best and expecting the worst. I ended up not only having all my needs met and validated, but also getting along really well with the staff. I get my hardware soon and can't review that just yet, but my exam was a super positive experience, and I'll be recommending Dentistry on Queen to absolutely everyone who will listen!!

We just moved here and Dr Arin and Dr McMartin will be our new dentists. The staff at Queen West Dentistry made an effort to move up my appointment. Dr Arin spent a long time advising me about some tooth pain I was having at the appointment I had with him for a small cavity. As the pain was in a different tooth he advised me to wait to fill the cavity until the other tooth’s situation was resolved, even though that meant loss of revenue for him. I was impressed with the great care he took to help me resolve the difficulty and explain what I should do.

Every time I’ve gone in, I’ve had an AWESOME dental hygienist. However, the most recent time I was in (Tuesday February the 16th) I was extremely unhappy with the hygienist I had, and had never had her before so I wanted to bring it up personally. I would please ask to never ever ever have her again. She was rough, had a style that made me doubt her competence, used certain language and had trouble with the X-ray machines, and I didn’t feel as though I was in good hands. My teeth and dental appointments are very important to me, and normally I LOVE going to the Dentistry on Queen West because of the professional atmosphere and the trust I’ve gained with the previous hygienists. But to be honest I did not feel comfortable during this last appointment, my gums have been sore ever since and I didn’t feel as though I was in good hands for many reasons. I would love to discuss further if there are any questions, but I was genuinely uncomfortable and unhappy with my most recent hygienist. I’m so sorry to be this way, but I have a certain amount of anxiety when it comes to going to the Dentist, and I felt as though within the first five minutes of being there, the hygienist had lost all credibility with me. I feel so bad saying that, but I would prefer to tell you guys everything honestly, as opposed to looking for a new Dentistry. I’m sorry about this!!

My cleaning appointment was great as always! The hygienist did a fantastic job with the scaling portion of the cleaning. At other dentists, I have had problems with the scaling process being rough and sometimes painful, but at this location the hygienists are very gentle and precise.

I really love dentistry on Queen! All of the dental hygienists I have seen have been professional and easy to chat with, all of the staff are warm and friendly. Dr. Ratavosi is an excellent dentist and provided good support advice to me about having my wisdom teeth removed at a separate oral surgeon. Billing is handled easily through my insurance, including a night guard. The office environment is also very bright, modern and clean.

Wonderful clinic. The space is new and state-of-the-art (latest equipment, appt reminders via text, Netflix, etc), the dentists and hygienists are kind and knowledgeable, and office administration is always very friendly and helpful. They always find a way to accommodate me even if I need something at the last minute, I never feel rushed when I have questions or concerns, and they operate very efficiently, e.g. never really have to wait in the waiting room. I have great experiences in my past visits. My Saturday visit was an outlier. Did cleaning and it was painful. Had taste of blood in mouth for another day, which never happened. I had a back-to-back appointment for a check-up. My dental hygienist told me I didn't have it, but later on the receptionist said otherwise. I was very confused. The dental hygienist looked new. Perhaps she needs some help to provide same level service as her peers.

Since I only went in for a cleaning, I can only comment on that service. I must say though, the attention to client comfort is really great. The hygeinist takes photos of the inside of your mouth before they clean the plaque, and after the cleaning. I must say this really paints a great picture of just how much of a difference going to the dentist makes. I just really liked the whole experience. Kylie was great, 10/10!

Dentistry on Queen West is the best dental office I’ve been to. The staff is amazing; extremely friendly, competent and always on time. They’re always looking out for their patients and I can trust that they aren’t trying to rip me off. There are many dental offices much closer to my home but my husband and I continue going to Dentistry on Queen West because we’re so happy with their services and know it’s very unlikely that it’ll be replicated elsewhere. If you’re looking for a new dentist, this is the place to go!

The people are very friendly and courteous. I felt very comfortable from the moment I walked in. The lady at the front desk is super awesome. I got my teeth cleaned and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had when getting my teeth cleaned from anyone. She made sure I was as comfortable as possible and frequently asked me if I was doing ok. I wish I had come to this place sooner!

I love coming into Dentistry on Queen West - the staff are so pleasant and they make me feel so welcome and at home. Jen at the front always does her best to accommodate me and the hygienists (Laura, Clara, and Janine) are friendly and happy. You can tell the staff truly enjoy working there. Dr. Arin Ratavosi is friendly and always down for a good conversation about travel and food. I've been going to DoQW for 3+ years now and I don't see myself stopping. Impeccable service, good costs and a nice, clean space. I've recommended the team at DoQW in the past and continue to do so today.

Great smiles, and that's from the staff just for starters. While never pressuring me to do anything or have anything treated, Arin and his hygenists help me understand my complete dental health and conservatively give me advice. Great cleanings, Laura has a magic touch! I couldn't keep my teeth clean or understand my oral health without them. :)

Very friendly and excellent service. They know their stuff. Great technology with the camera showing you before/after. One piece of feedback is the room I was put in was very small. At 6'3" it got a little claustrophobic and awkward but I'm sure the other rooms are nicer (I hear). I guess it's luck of the draw but definitely something to request if you can for a more comfortable experience. I'll be asking for that next appointment! Otherwise, keep up the good work.

Great staff and great service! Usually, you'd probably never hear anyone say "I love going to the dentist" but I look forward to going into Dentistry on Queen West. The office is clean -- immaculate, really, the staff is warm and they take time to get to know you. I could spend hours talking to every member on the team. The service is exceptional; every time they are about to do something new, they take the time to explain it, show me on the screen and give me an understanding of what is happening and why.

My only concern is the pricing for very quick tasks such as repairing the cement on a broken permanent retainer. If I am in and out within 10 minutes and am charged over $200... not ideal.
