When I broke a tooth on a holiday weekend, Dr. Gary Chesney promptly returned my call and advised me. When I called the office the following Monday morning I was able to be seen immediately. Dr. Bell did an excellent job repairing the tooth. Nautica, his assistant, was friendly and very competent.

There is a pleasant atmosphere in your waiting room and offices. Receptionist ask if they can help me, since we don't sign in anymore. Greeted by my hygienist , April. We have become friends. I have had April clean my teeth for several years now. We always seem to catch up on each others news. She does a great job cleaning my teeth always. I feel like I have a clean feeling in my mouth, after I leave. I just wish that they stayed that way. Ha. I met Dr. Cheney's son-in-law that checked over my teeth. He was very nice and I'm sure Dr. Cheney is grateful for his help on Mondays and being his son-in-law. Thank you.

Wait time was minimal! Staff was polite and competent! Dental assistant, Nautical, was pleasant, considerate, and helpful! Dr. Bell explained, thoroughly, the procedure being done; & was extremely considerate of my wellbeing throughout the process!!! “I felt no pain”, was able to bite well afterwards, and felt so relieved that my “dental fears” are hopefully a thing of the past!!! Dr. Bell was empathetic, caring, extremely competent, & personable!!! I would (& already have) recommend him as one of “The Best” dentists I’ve known!!! PS. The price seemed fair, also!!!

New to the area, we found Chesney through our insurance. Considering myself very picky about my dentist, I was happy with the staff, hygenist and dentist. What the office lacks in high tech instrumentation, they make up for in cleanliness, thorough attention, and hospitality. Dr. Chesney is especially effusive. I left feeling seen and heard. I really like Chesney Dentistry but would like to give just a little feedback from my recent experience getting a crown. I felt like the dentist could have introduced himself when he came in to check my teeth after the cleaning and where he found a tooth that needed the crown. I didn’t know him from before, or if I did I did not remember him. The way a patient is lying they can’t really see the dentist if he just comes in and immediately sits down. I also feel like they are overbooking, as both times I have been recently I had to wait at least 20-30 minutes past my appointment time. This has never happened in the past. I had to ask questions about what to expect and what they were doing as we went along. It just wasn’t as good an experience as in the past.

I have been a Chesney Dentistry customer for over 10 years. I was very disappointed at this last visit. Went in for routine cleaning for self and daughter. Both done at the same time. My 15 year old apparently had a slight bit of wire exposed on her fixed retainer. Whether it was like this when she walked in or if it became exposed during flossing, who knows. However, she was asked if she wanted it fixed and of course she said yes. I was not consulted at all, nor did I know of it until she came in and told me. I assumed it was a dollop of glue and thought nothing of it until I arrived at the counter and was told the charges were in excess of $200 for this service. My daughter has an orthodontist. They could have fixed this at no charge (as he is a friend). If she or I had been told this was going to cost this much, we would have said NO. Was extremely disappointed that I was not asked. No 15 year old should have been asked for consent.

Everyone at the office is friendly and so nice. I really like Dr. Nathan Chesney and Dr. Bell seemed very nice. They do a great job. Dr. Chesney did a fantastic implant and would have him do an implant again. I trust this office with my teeth.

Dr. Chesney is a great dentist, but over the past few years he has had several changes in office staff. I've now had 3 different dental hygienists and was not notified I would be with a new hygienist at my appointment. I loved the two I had previously, but the most recent hygienist made a couple of comments that highly offended me regarding my being a mother at 16 and had the nerve and insensitivity to ask if I raised my own daughter!!!! In addition, she seemed to have a bit of an attitude when I asked to have the water pick option instead of manual tools and asked that the water be warm due to cold sensitivity. The hygienists I had seen before always did this and she said she didn't know how it could be done. I can deal with some cold water, but not comments about my parenting, and will not be seeing her again.

Beth was very nice, friendly and professional. She did a great job. However, I was not impressed with Dr. Kevin Bell. I got his name from my receipt because he did not introduce himself, or even show his face. I paid $58 for about 10 seconds of checking my teeth then he was gone. A little “bedside manner“ would go a long way for him.

I was impressed by how kind the dental assistant was and how capable Dr. Gary Chesney is. I was a work-in appointment for a broken tooth, and so I waited for quite a while (no complaint - grateful for the work-in!), but I got to hear Dr. Chesney interacting with many other patients. He was always so kind, and seemed to be able to offer a solution, but always allowed the patient to be in control of their own dental care decisions. His voice was kind and confident, but never pressuring. I was so impressed to hear his engagement with the person and not just a client.

I used to love this dentist until the son took over. He does not know how to do anything. I had an issue with a retainer he did not know how to put back on when it popped off and he lazily did it and then when I asked him to shave the glue down because I had a glob of glue on the back of my tooth, he said he couldn’t help me and I have to come back another day. Then later that night the adhesive broke and my retainer popped off again. Also during him putting adhesive on my tooth, he made the comment “oh this is expired” 😑. I don’t recommend this dentist if you’re wanting your problems to be resolved. Same reason why everyone in my family stopped going as well. All they are good for is cleanings.

Dr. Gary Chesney was recommended by two of the residents where I live. They told me how much they liked him and I agree with them. I was very comfortable with his diagnosis and especially that we both thought that my tooth needs to be extracted. The dental tech was nice but did not clean my teeth very well. Not like I have been getting. Dr. Chesney came in and didn´t even check my teeth just glanced at the area where my cap came off. Then he rushed out the door before I could ask any questions. I am very disappointed in the service I received.
