My consult was better than anticipated. I half expected a used car salesman, "dog and pony show." The experience was quite the opposite. Dr. Vath was conservative. He did not overpromise or sell unreal results. In fact, he was extremely intuitive and kind. I later reflected that he did not allow me to BS myself. LOL

I came to consult with Dr. Vath to see if anything could be done to mitigate the negative facial I have experienced from weight loss due to cancer treatment. He was completely honest and told me that the areas I was most interested in trying to “fix” would not be addressed satisfactorily with a face lift. He was clear and concise with his explanation of what could and could not be addressed. His honesty is so very appreciated.

Everyone was very professional and I am happy with the results. I wish I had been given a more information about what I would feel and look like after the surgery. I had no idea my neck would swell and be so black and blue or that my ears would be sore even a year later. I take a long time to come out of anesthesia and told them that beforehand but the minute I opened my eyes they were rushing me to get dressed and tried to send me home without my underwear. Everyone needed to be more communicative. The ladies at the front desk are so friendly and helpful.

After meeting with several other plastic surgeons in the area, Dr. Wolfe and his team at the center for cosmetic surgery stood out the most. I felt comfortable from the moment I arrived, and every staff member I interacted with was wonderful. Dr. Wolfe did not rush me and took time to answer all of my questions and address concerns I had about surgery. I have a lot of preexisting health issues so finding a knowledge, confident, empathetic surgeon was my top priority and I can say Dr. Wolfe encompassed all of these characteristics. I also loved that a 3D model was provided of what my results could look like, no other plastic surgeon I met with in the area had this technology. I really want to like it here but I haven’t had positive experiences with the support staff. I went thru a hard period in my life which shows on my face and I was taking the step with your business to improve my self confidence ; coming out of a hard time like I was, you’re not concerned about your appearance, no mani pedi no perfect skin no jewelry or keeping up with Jones /clothes. The support staff, the patient liaison made me feel small by literally sizing me up and down and when I made polite conversation complimenting her on something she was wearing she said oh it’s “blah blah brand name” then looked me up and down and as she was going over my financial info/financing and told me”oh i got it on Amazon it’s not real” implying someone who looks like me couldn’t possibly afford it(which is the furtherest from the truth, I choose to finance my surgery for my own reasons but can easily afford to pay in full. In all what a petty thing I had to write out that takes a longer time to explain than the actually rude behavior by your staff that turned me off completely to your businesses. Which is too bad because you were convenient. I gave it 3 stars and not 1 because I actually really liked my surgeon.

I really can't say enough about the entire process of being evaluated and scheduling my surgery at the Center for Cosmetic Surgery. From my first call, subsequent contact with reception staff, and everyone else involved in my care I was treated with the utmost of dignity, respect and professionalism. The office is peaceful and the facility is gorgeous. Both Dr. Freeman and Dr. Steinwald went above and beyond in counseling me concerning my particular issues, being transgender, and what my expectations should be. Working with financing was quick and easy, and the nurses are warm and caring as you'd expect. I am having a breast reduction and lift. I was so impressed with EVERYONE in this practice. It's embarrassing to have your breasts scrutinized by anyone, but this experience was so natural and I never once felt uncomfortable with Dr. Vath or any of the other caregivers. I am excited to have this done and feel so confident in the entire process. Carrie is a gem, I feel like I've known her forever that is how she presents and it's all sincere. I came in to discuss a brow lift with Dr. Vath. I knew what look I hoped to achieve via this procedure but wanted to determine if my expectations were reasonable. Dr. Vath asked some very specific questions and then helped me understand why my desired outcome couldn’t be achieved via a surgical procedure. I appreciate his honesty and his ability to communicate effectively to me so I fully understood the very real limitations of a brow lift in my specific situation. It was obviously important to him that I understood all the reasons why the procedure shouldn’t be done so that I didn’t leave his office and just go to a different surgeon who might be willing to do the surgery; leading to a bad outcome. Dr. Vath has done a few cosmetic surgeries on me in the past with excellent results. I trust him completely and am so glad he cares enough to not do a surgery that won’t be in my best interests. I never dreamed my body could look so amazing at age 46 - better than I ever looked in my 20s and 30s. As a 46-year-old woman, I had realistic expectations about results of breast reconstruction surgery and new implants. I showed Dr. Wolfe photos of beautiful breast implants in younger women with gorgeous implants and he under-promised and OVER- DELIVERED beyond my wildest expectations. My newly constructed breasts are a beautiful work of art - large, full, round, firm and nearly perfectly symmetrical. I decided to allow Dr. Wolfe to help guide me with selecting the right implant size to best fits my wishes/goals, body size and bone structure. His recommendation was much larger than I would have selected, but I decided to put my faith and trust in his judgment. The final results are incredible and I am in awe of how amazing my body looks. I would def say I need a better word then exceptional! This was the most professional, compassionate, courteous, timely, and positive medical experience I have ever had. From the receptionists, to the medical assistants, to the nurses to the physicians I have never been more impressed with service in the medical field like this.

I have had the best experience with Dr Vath as my plastic surgeon. He listens, is honest about expectations and is an artist as far as his esthetic eye. I have had 3 botched breast surgeries by 2 other plastic surgeons in La Jolla, Ca. who were supposed to be "the best in their field". Dr Vath was the only surgeon that actually corrected my problem and I am extremely pleased with the outcome. Now I am scheduled for a face lift, brow lift and blepharoplasty and I know I am in great hands!!

I am scheduled for my surgery in two weeks. I currently live out of state so scheduling was a bit harder. I have to say every step of this experience has been awesome! From my first phone call, to emails, to scheduling and consult. Everyone is so nice and accommodating and took the time to answer all of my questions ( no matter how minor they were). I was welcomed in, given a high quality packet of what to expect, and then things went as expected! We consulted with Dr. Vath first, who answered all my questions. Then we did the exam and he reiterated the plan. I met the coordinator and was surprised to find a discount for being a nurse. What a nice thought! Overall pleased with the work flow, communication, and education of my surgeon. Looking forward to my surgery so much! I’m sure my post op experience will also be high quality.

I just booked with Dr. Vath for a tummy tuck. He was personable and professional during the consultation and answered all of my questions. What really stuck out to me though was how many times he told me no. There were some things that I wanted done that either aren't a good idea or wouldn't give me the results I am looking for. He was honest with me on that and explained everything. I appreciate and respect that. That is why I chose Dr. Vath for my surgery. Kari, the patient liaison, has also been amazing.

It was nice to have the Dr be the first person to greet me. Have the opportunity and time to discuss my questions. A thorough review and understanding between everyone was great! I was slightly disappointed the reception didn't keep me informed how long I was having to wait. The wait was over 30 minutes and I was the one who had to ask - would have preferred at least every 10-15 minutes to give patients an updated time frame.
