Have gone to Dr. Oyler for years and found her to be pleasant, forthright, spot on with diagnoses, and practical in treatments and recommendations. She works to stay on schedule but has always made sure my questions were answered. Has products to sell, but has never pushed them on me, which I appreciate.

Dr Bowman had an emergency and had to reschedule my appointment which was scheduled for Nov. 8, 2023 @ 1:40 pm. He couldn’t see me until April 2024 so I was scheduled to see Dr Gupta on March 15,2024!!! No one bothered to contact me so I wasted my afternoon and delayed my appointment as well. This was the second time this has happened and to say the least I’m not very happy!

I have been a patient of Dr. Oyler for more than 20 years! She is wonderful, she always takes time with me to answer all my questions, never rushes me. She's also very knowledgeable and experienced. She found a basal cell on my face I would have never thought to question. She also takes the lest invasive approach first, unless I say go more aggressive. She doesn't start with the big knife! She has a terrific staff that are warm and welcoming, and make me feel valued. I actually enjoy my doctor visits!

Perfectionism is a great quality for my dermatologist to have when they are dealing with a million freckles! (small exaggeration) My husband liked and recommended Dr. Oyler to me and I found her friendly, knowledgeable and patient. I believe I was one of Dr. Oyler's first patients when she came to Raleigh. She is a wonderful doctor. Not only extremely knowledgeable but a thoughtful, kind person who cares for her patients. She has treated me for numerous and varied issues, but my most problematic ones have been countless skin cancers. Dr. Oyler knows I'm a swimmer and hang around the pool all summer, yet she's never scolded me or made any reference to the fact that I'm probably responsible for most of the skin cancers she has removed. With my track record it's a safe bet to assume rarely a year will go by without another. It would make sense if she did give me a lecture when I appear with new ones, but knowing she won't is incredibly reassuring. Of course, she'll answer any questions I have, but otherwise, we chat about different things. The fact that I continually show up with new suspicious places doesn't seem to phase her. Perhaps she knows I'm my own worst enemy and that's punishment enough. She always has a warm smile and makes me feel as though she's glad to see me. I feel fortunate beyond words to have her as my dermatologist.

Everyone at Capital Derm are wonderful. I've had a severe situation getting worse for months and seen other dermatologist to help with the situation; however, they brushed me off. I called Capital Derm to get a 1st time appointment; however, when I explained my situation, they got me in the next day, started me on meds, and scheduled next appointment to assist me in finding out what is happening.

My visit was great. From the time I checked in and out everyone in the office was very friendly and professional. They were very customer oriented. Dr. Oyler removed a mole on my right eye and I didn’t realize she had finished. It was pain free and she explained everything to me in terms I could understand. I would not suggest making an appointment on Fridays. I've never had a Friday appt until recently and I felt rushed. It was a Friday afternoon and the appt was rushed in my opinion. It felt like maybe the doctor had somewhere to go and she was in a hurry. I was displeased.

Dr.Rebekah did not really take out the time to listen to everything I had to say. I felt rushed I was trying to show her my medical records so she would have a better understanding of what UNC Dermatology said about my condition as well as test results. She briefly looked at some, not all she said she didn't have time to read them all. I feel like it was a waste my time also my gas going there. I discussed my medical situation prior to coming there with the receptionist and she assured me that she specializes in fingernails toe nail disorders so I was hopeful but extremely disappointed.

For a first time visit, I thought the exam would have been more extensive - other than addressing the skin concerns I identified. In a way it's good, because the doctor focuses the time on the patient's directly identified skin issues. In a way it's bad - because the patient may have something that is actually a skin issue without knowing - that the patient may not have seen or recognized as needing attention. Thus my perception of first exam to screen the entire torso - doctor shares immediate feedback - patient shares observation on their skin concerns - appropriate next steps

I felt so welcomed by the friendly and helpful staff. When my insurance was problematic, I never felt blamed or put down. They made me feel better and helped me through it. I loved my doctor and felt more than just a name on a list. I went into the appointment resigned about my hair loss and left feeling hopeful and with knowledge of actions I had not heard of before. I am glad my new insurance doesn't take my old dermatologist and that I've found this one. Thank you :)

I had a good first experience at Capitol Dermatology. I was referred by my PCP and they fit me into their schedule after being referred for my eczema. Check in was very smooth and the receptionists were very pleasant and welcoming. They got me checked in and collected all my information right away. I was seen in a timely manner. The nurses and providers were all very pleasant and polite. I felt comfortable during my visit and all my needs were addressed promptly.

Prior to coming here, I’d been led to believe the only way to go with an early basal cell carcinoma on the face was Mohs surgery— which is a far from an easy experience. When I made my initial appointment, I stated plainly, in writing, that I need laser treatment for my spider veins. I even spoke with the receptionist over the phone to confirm my appointment and the reason for it. It wasn't until after I paid $110 and spent over an hour of my time that they told me "oh we don't have lasers in this office". So I basically wasted $110 of my hard-earned money for them to tell me, "but you're the perfect candidate for laser treatment." NO FUCKING SHIT! I already knew this!! It was incredibly embarrassing to go through all this process only to be told I need to go somewhere else to get it done. There is no way for me to know if your office has lasers unless you tell me. Your website sure doesn't say you don't have lasers. This office had multiple opportunities to inform me that they won't be able to help me. I felt like a complete dufus leaving the office $110 poorer and not having any my issues dealt with, except that all my moles look healthy (which I already knew and was not why I was there). I will never respect a doctor or doctor's office that doesn't respect their patients or their patients time. Not only that, but I arrived for my appointment 5-10 minutes early. Then sat in the waiting room for 45 minutes before finally being called in. I even saw them call in 3 people who had arrived after me. And after my appointment I now know they took their time calling me in because they knew they wouldn't be able to help me, so might as well prioritize other patients first. Oh, and they had the balls to ask if I wanted to make a follow-up appointment in a year. If I ever review this place publicly, I will write that not only is this not a technologically up-to-date clinic, but they only care about getting their money. They don't respect their patients enough to inform them of their office limitations ahead of time. Thanks for the colossal waste of my time and money.

I found Capital Dermatology by accident. Their online booking system was the only reason I picked them. I AM SO GLAD I DID. From the first interaction with staff to the last, it was a great experience. The receptionists were warm and welcoming, super pleasant. The assistant who brought me to the room was also fantastic, she complimented me and made my concerns feel super valid. Even though she was wearing a mask I felt her smiling and presence and made me immediately at ease. The provide I saw was Megan. She was so excited to listen to my concerns, and took them all incredibly seriously. I have seen multiple dermatologists before and only remember one other great one, many years ago. Megan set a new bar. She was knowledgeable, immediately had recommendations for all my concerns, was very price-conscious and didn't make me feel bad for having to consider costs of things, she provided alternative options that were cheaper. I ended up going with her first recommendation because I really trusted her by the end of the visit. I have already recommended her to my MIL and will continue to recommend her and Capital Dermatology.

Nor did I wait too long for the Dr. She reminded me of a medical professor, observing and chatting aloud about what she observes as she examined my upper torso.
