Previously Dr. Amaya, put in 2 dental implants in ; She did such excellent work my implants have never been infected or caused any problems. This accomplishment in my mouth speaks volumes since I have very receding gums and a lot of teeth decay. Ashe also has a clear soft voice that is calming. She always sits nearby and asks me generally about my teeth and the specific reason I have come or been referred by another dentist.

The level of competence is very high. The hygienist staff are well-trained at least one with over 30 years experience. Dr. Amaya is highly skilled and you can have confidence going in that she is extremely knowledgeable and a well trained periodontist.

This is a wonderful place to get my teeth cleaned. Kathy, who cleans my teeth is very gentle and thorough. I have always had a fear of dentists, but not at this office. I am very comfortable. Kathy provides me with nitrous to help me get through the experience. Noemi, the office manager, is also excellent at working with me and the financial end of everything.

Dr Amaya and staff are professional, very easy to schedule with, make changes to scheduling, assist with filing claims and follow up with insurance. This is very helpful because it can be tedious working with ins. Dr Amaya goes out of her way to explain procedures and answer all your questions without feeling rushed.

I appreciate the periodontist taking the time and initiative to check in on my teeth before my cleaning appointment. The hygentist is extremely observant of my oral condition. There is no periodontist on earth that is more skilled or more gentle or more thorough or more compassionate than Ana Anaya! I base this on 15 years of exams and surgeries. She is a gem and I drive from Santa Cruz for her care. Kathy the Hygienist is amazing as well!! The Covid protections they have in place are the most thorough I've seen anywhere. A real five star operation!

All of us are nervous about COVID - but Dr. Amaya's team is on the case. When you arrive - phone in from your car, and a staff member will take your temp, ask you questions, and then open the door(s) with no wait. Hand and mouth sanitizing, and fully PPE'd staff await you as you receive careful and attentive care. Thanks!

Unfortunately I'm seeing a lot more of Dr. Amaya professionally than I want to - such is the aging process. However, I feel lucky to have been referred to her and have her treat the various issues I've had with my teeth and gums. The office is extremely well organized and efficient, and so kind. The experience of going to the dentist is difficult for me, the staff at Amaya periodontists are professional and make me feel more than comfortable. There was no clear resolution at the end of the appointment. When my appointment was finished, there were still a lot of questions I had that were not really answered .Felt like I was being rushed out the door. Then asked when I was going to going book my procedure. A little time to think about things is nice.

Dr Amaya has been tending to my needs for years and years. I am a difficult and complex case. Nothing phases her. She is very kind and an expert in her field. She’s even good with big babies, like me. Dr Amaya will take all the time necessary, to explain any procedure. She’s also a fine and caring human being. This is my 4th implant and I am happy with the work however there is always at least one thing that goes amiss everyrtime. I have gotten instructions on care after the procedure when it is to late to prepare...This time I saved mine from last year. They forgot to tell me to bring my anti-inflammatory and my husband had to rush home to get it and then to find out it wasn't necessary so better communication prior to the procedure would be an improvement. Also a correct bill. Mine had to come by email once I got home. Also after the procedure, with being on drugs, I would prefer if all my paper work etc. could be in one envelope so I don't lose anything having to keep track of paper, mouthwash etc. Thank you
