I've been in so much pain for many yrs, tried so many things-treatments, meds, inserts, etc-and I have decreased and limited activity, that's gotten progressively worse. It's very depressing and debilitating. After my first visit, and fitting with my orthotics, I'm already seeing less pain. Eileen was so helpful, understanding, comforting, and very thorough. She made sure I understood everything. She's just the best! And the staff were each kind and welcoming. I know I still have a ways to go, but, so far, I have hope again. Something I lost yrs ago. Thank you so very much, I can't stress that enough.

Wonderful receptionist. Pleasant atmosphere. However, appointments are just that. An appointed date and time. Patient waiting :27 past appointment time is not acceptable. Accurate scheduling and enforced no show fees is the key to an efficient providers practice. Over booking is ok, if compensation is provided as in the airlines industry.

I have learned that alignment is everything! After being in a bad accident, I didn’t start properly healing until I was fitted for custom insoles that allowed my body’s alignment, and after 6 months and some adjustments, my feet, ankles, knees, hips and back are starting to feel better again!

I was so delighted to hear that the individual who was doing my intake for physical information on my orthotics was the same person who made the orthotics. I do believe this is the reason the orthotics were so very suited to the needs of my deformed feet! I have worn them now for two days, and they are just wonderful. The pain in my feet is 75% less! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Also, the receptionist who also files the insurance claims was so very competent and thorough! Lovely! As I walk about 100 miles a month, I will return for my second or possibly third pair of insoles in 2024.

Great place. Super friendly staff, no waiting around for the appointment, professional and skilled assistance for my foot pain. The office is colorful and fun. Very welcoming. However: I can't stop thinking about why a Harry Styles album was included with all the OG stuff. I'm not saying they're wrong. I'm saying I need another pair of orthotics so I can get an answer. This will make sense when you go for your first appointment. :)

Pleased with the attitude, friendliness, apparent knowledge and attentiveness of the staff. However, had a hard time understanding the procedures regarding the costs for the devices and services rendered--and especially what my insurances would cover and my co-payment obligations. Still uncertain and concerned as to what the final charges will be. Further, still concerned that the pains have been adequately addressed by the orthotics received.

Friendly staff and provider. Provider is very knowledgeable. My feet are happy now! The only thing I would highly recommend for the front desk, please update your over copied patient forms. Online forms is the way to go! And please have a credit/debit card option for customers. Writing checks is very out dated and most people don't carry cash anymore. Thank you!

Excellent Service. Same day fitting and fabrication of my insoles. I walked out with a new pair only an hour after I got there. The fit wasn't quite perfect, so I came back a few weeks later and they filed it down and made it right. I am very satisfied.

Great new space to go with the great service Where else will they make you a new leg the same day you go in I was in total misery with my old limb and was able to walk out in comfort It is great not having to keep running back to a provider to get the help you need They take care of any situation that arises when it happens not weeks or months later I found Alchemy about six years ago and have been very grateful for their knowledge and support I had been going to Next step in New Hampshire until the people I had retired plus the cost of travel was prohibitive I always slowed three days there That was when I found out that a limb could be made in day if they wanted to I used that company from the early eighties until late nineties and started looking for someone in Alaska I tried them all Some shouldn’t be in business, most don’t listen to you as they are the experts and know what you need Alchemy does listen and works with you to accomplish what you want and need Can’t wait for them to open in the Valley so I don’t have to drive to Anchorage

Dr Will Sundberg is hands down the most caring doctor my daughter has ever been to. He sees half the patients so he can spend more time with each patient and make sure everything fits and they are on board with treatment. We have had three sets of braces for toe walking and I couldnt ask for him to do more. All doctors should follow his model because a doctor is a teacher and a teacher must know how to listen to truly teach. I know because I am a teacher myself. Office staff is really warm too.

Will takes the time to make us feel confortable. He doesnt rush us out of appointments. He builds a professional connection with my daughter and her toe walking braces so it is easy. It is also easier to have the conversation about what we can do to motivate our daughter to wear her braces more. She is doing so kuch better with braces now. It is rare to find practitioners that care more about treating the patient than making more money by seeing tons of patients.

the people here are great to work with. Our only issue probably is not their fault, but I still have to voice our aggravation with the situation. I for the life of me never understand why it is required to have a prescription for a prosthetic part that you need, you have already been wearing for years and you obviously need it to be able to walk like the rest of the non amputees in the world. I completely understand for the first time being fitted for a prosthetic but after that, it baffles me. To me it compares to the non amputees needing a prescription to buy shoes or socks, what is the difference? You have to have them, its not like they are a substance you can abuse, its a need for life! Is it a scam to cost more for amputees to have to go the doctor every time you need something for the prosthetic? This is something I feel needs to be addressed for all amputees of the world, since we are all on lets be fair campaign, I think this should be added to it

Well I hate to say it but I really don’t have anything good to say about your place you only things I really have to say or things that were great about your place it was probably the oddest doctors office I’ve ever been in which is right up my alley I appreciate about everything about the place there’s really nothing normal it doesn’t feel like a generic office I don’t know him you made me feel super comfortable the ambience like I said all you guys need now is a gun range even if it is airsoft I don’t know any of the other staff other than the people that I met but when I do walk might be nice to sit down with a nice bottle of whistle pig or blantons bourbon to celebrate my stolling and to say thanks. Only bitch is you closed 430… well my driver decided to go home so it took an hour and some for me to get a ride… but cool toy atore down the way

1st appointment was measuring for a back brace for scoliosis. Provider was very precise and took lots of measurements. We live far away and they were able to fit us in last minute, which made us very happy.. For a our 2nd appointment for the actual brace itself, she did a very good job adjusting, sawing and flaring it in spots that needed it. We are very happy with the brace. And was told if any adjustments are needed bring it in and they will fix it. Very helpful and kind staff. Thank you for helping my son.

Well I'll tell you from the beginning until the end I was well taken care of. From Brianna calling me at my home and pleasant conversation about coming in and doing a final adjustment on my amputated legs was very pleasant and they arranged with the airlines and taxi both ways to pick me up and drop me off when I got there just a lovely greeting and awaited William to take care of me from that point and he was training a intern at the same time who was quite pleasant to deal with this is for my legs and they made sure 100% I was ready to leave the office and I thank them all very much they are the greatest team and they all work together for the one common goal to make sure I was completely comfortable leaving the office they took their time and did everything right I thank them for that and I thank God for putting them my way thank you thank you thank you and once again thank you alchemy prosthetics and services I hope they all have the best in their lives cuz I know I got the best in mind now I am no longer in a wheelchair because of that God bless and take care

Alchemy has been wonderful Even when we complained about things they went out of their way to make sure that we were happy. Our son has done so well with the brace they made for him, and continues to even heal with the help help of alchemy specialties. A special thanks to Bill for his understanding during such a hard time for our family with our son becoming paralyzed on his right side. They are the best team I have ever encountered since my amputations have occurred in my life and I'm happy to have their support and knowledge of everything they know about that I would never have known about in my lifetime they are totally professional and personable with open arms and hearts and care about me and my treatment if there was 1000% button I would push it! They are very encouraging and I live in a village in the middle of nowhere and they arranged transportation for me to get to their office up in Anchorage Alaska and they have another location of in Fairbanks that I have used with the same professional treatment I would highly recommend them because this affects the entire life of everybody who's involved they keep me with a positive attitude and do not stop until I'm completely ready to leave their office they have make sure everything is 100% before I leave!! Will is the best ☺️ caretaker of my legs and spirit office staff was stupendous thank you thank you thank you for everything it feels good to walk again!

Have only participated in one initial patient meeting to date. Very professional and friendly so we were quite at ease, and Alchemy is reaching out to son's physical therapist to improve transition to new prosthetic! We were about 4 minutes late to our appointment as I did not account for road construction. Plus, our departure was delayed at home due to missing paperwork. Covid-19 protocols are very well in place. Hope to form a relationship for son so that he has competent service to transit to as an adult on his own.

I’m disappointed that the insole material cost me $24 for a pair. You have me over a barrel though. Without it, my orthotics would have to be repaired 4 four times a year (that’s about how often I wear through the insole layer). I really wish the material lasted longer or was more reasonably priced.

I had two other experiences with Crowe boots which did not work out for me. Brittany took the time to listen to me as I explained what didn’t work and designed a brace which is functional and comfortable. I wear this brace all day with no discomfort. Brittany is awesome.

I don't even know where to start. The communication between Alchemy and the patients is really poor. I came in over a month ago to get fitted for a brace and have heard nothing. Every time I call it's an answering service that takes my message, but no one ever gets back to me. Very disappointed

This is my first time using Alchemy and the staff is very friendly and professional. My appointment was in the midst of Covid-19 and they made sure to take precautions with having hand sanitizer available which was very nice. The provider (I think his name was Shawn?) was able to discuss new options for AFOS since I haven't worn them in a long time. It was nice to have someone who listened to my needs and concerns rather than the same old standard AFO bracing. They have the cutest office dog too! Mave was a hot to be around and made me feel right at home and even sat with me during my appointment!

The Alchemy staff did not disappoint me. Had me up and walking in just a few short sessions. Very friendly groups. Also recommended by several of my physical therapists and ortho surgeons. I also saved the expense of trips down to Seattle where the VA originally had wanted to send me. Great service. Even the mascot dog was friendly (although he kept the chewy doll I tried to take away.)

They were so patient and kind, my son is almost two and the woman who measured his feet let him touch the tools and talked to him and even sat on the floor and let him take his time getting comfortable around her. Another thing I really liked is I got a text message the night before to confirm my apt and I thought it was programmed but it was an actual person from the place texting me, so handy!

Alchemy Orthotics and Prosthetics is a wonderful and much needed addition to the medical services community of Fairbanks, Alaska. The practice is easily accessible, the staff are knowledgeable and pleasant. My questions were answered in full and my concerns were addressed in a caring and professional manner. Braces and orthotics were assembled and available for my use in record time. As a medical provider myself, I will not hesitate to refer my patients with prosthetics or orthotics needs to this practice.

My daughter has been receiving service with Will who owns Alchemy for 6 years. My daughter feels comfortable with Will, and he is amazing at getting a teenager to engage with him during appointments when its obvious that she inst too enthusiastic about being there :) Will's bedside manner supersedes any other providers in the Fairbanks area. His humor and sarcasm is a welcomed change to the boring and mundane appointments that my daughter hates. My daughter would be unable to walk if it wasnt for Will, and his timely turn around for her AFO's, his skill at making them, and the same day repair of them when needed.
