Thank you Dr. Sam and staff for an excellent experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by your friendly and wonderful staff. I have been a client for over 10 years and at every visit my appointment time was respected, my eye exam is thorough and my questions are always answered. Additionally the staff that assisted me in selecting my glasses take time to let me try on many pairs. Blanca and Oscar are terrific!

Dr. Sam is very thorough in her exam , she is not in a rush and takes time to answer questions. Not to mention that she is very lively and jovial . The office staff are very friendly too !!

Dr. Sam is very caring and knowledgeable. She recently fit me in for a visit on very short notice the day before a long weekend. I was very grateful.. It turned out I had an infection and was able to get a prescription and begin treatment right away. The other employees in that office are also very supportive, friendly and helpful.

Doctors Rishko and Sam are the best. We became their patients years ago, and have always been much more than satisfied with their exams and treatment. When we moved to Santa Barbara in 2016, we didn't even look around for local providers--it's well worth the trip to stay with Rishko and Sam and feel totally confident about our vision care. Special shout-out for Blanca, the office manager--she's sharp, efficient and friendly; in other words--terrific!

Dr. Rishko has been my optometrist for many years. I couldn't imagine using anyone else. He caught my glaucoma at its very onset, allowing me to keep it in check, and will always take the time to explain any questions or concerns.

I've had Dr. Rishko as my optometrist since I was a child, and he is a truly wonderful one! Very patient, and truly interested in his patients and keeping their eyes healthy. A lot of people in my family have had their vision deteriorate badly as they aged because they didn't get help until they were older, but mine has been stable even through years of doing a lot of eye-straining activities due to his care and coaching in how to look after my sight. The rest of the office are also the kindest, friendliest people you will ever have the good fortune to meet. I would definitely recommend!

I feel truly blessed to have found these wonderful doctors and staff. I have kerotoconus and the doctors have worked extremely hard in getting just the right fit for my hard contact lenses which has greatly improved my vision. The staff is always polite and friendly. A joy to work with!

Dr. Sam is so impressive. She's efficient and friendly. Her last prescription for glasses was really good---my eyes have all kinds of issues. Other optometrists haven't been able to get my glasses just right. Dr. Sam did that. I recommend her to everyone!

I have been seeing Dr. Richard Rishko now for 2 yrs. I am 36 yrs. old and I have strabismus (cross-eyed) he has helped me with glasses, contacts, vision therapy, understanding my diagnosis, suggestions. Dr. Rishko has spent HOURS with me being patient because my eyes have been through 5 major surgeries and don't work together. He always smiles, he always answers my questions, very professional. One of the best things to about Dr. Rishko is he likes to go home and research more on your eye issues and he always finds new solutions if he wasn't able to find one when he saw you! The staff is amazing in Augora. Blanca and David are so friendly, I enjoy going by just to say hi! They take care of all the billing, glasses, contacts, paperwork and they're accurate, kind, funny, VERY helpful and supportive to your conditions. A+ 100% overall for this office staff and Doctors! And I am there a lot!

I have always received excellent care and service at with Dr. Rishko and his staff. He takes his time to find out what changes have occured and to examine my eyes. I would highly recommend Dr. Rishko for anyone needing their eyes checked. He is also amazing when it comes to fitting you with the best pair of contacts should you choose those.

Need to up grade your options that are available in the office. David was helpful showing me frames on line but it would be more convenient if they were on hand. Just a thought. Dr Sam performed a very thorough testing of my son. She seemed to know right away what was going on. My son seemed excited that his problem with reading was his "eyes" trouble and not because he is "dumb" Dr Sam was very involved and professional.
