My daughter's first dental visit was everything I hoped for. The decor of the facility was amazing. It made any child forget that they are going to the dentist, We were greeted with such kindness and enthusiasm. We met Dental Assistant Joanna who absolutely wonderful getting my daughter situated. All you could hear were giggles and lots of questions from a very curious little mind. Then we met Dr. Mark Adelberg. What can I say, he is amazing! He made every part of the check-up to the cleaning procedure fun. By the time the visit was over, my daughter was disappointed she had to leave. I would recommend the West Islip office to all parents who have not taken their kids to the dentist.

Amazing pediatric dentist! I took my 3 yo for her first apt. She loved it the second we walked in. The place is decorated so cute and there were all sorts of toys and games for her to play with. Dental hygienist and dentist were great. They made her so comfortable and thought the whole thing was like a game. This place is the best!

As always, Michael had a great time at his visit!! Despite the traumatic experience he had at another office years ago, he is excited for his dental visits now! The staff, care, ince tives, and waiting room are incredible, as is the technology and child-sized tools used! We have been so lucky to find this office.

We had a wonderful experience at Adelberg Montalvan! The waiting room is great for kids with activities to keep them occupied. The staff was very friendly and great with kids. They explained everything to my son in a way that he understood and wasn't scared about his first dental appointment. I wish I went here when I was a kid!

While everyone was wonderful, our dental hygienist Corina was a step above. My daughter had such a good time with her that after we got home she gathered up her own “tools” and began giving her toys an exam and cleaning.

What an amazing first dental experience! My daughter is 3 and was extremely wary of new places, especially anything/anyone who may involve seeing a dr. We had an amazing visit start to finish. We received a customized booo to read before going, the office itself was amazing and entertaining with all sorts of games and there were plenty of ways to be distracted once in the dental chair: sunglasses for the light, tv on the ceiling, picking out a treasure for having no cavities. And the staff was amazing. The front desk was friendly and helpful from my first phone call and the hygienist and Dr. Erica were wonderful with my daughter. Can’t say enough good things about our experience and everyone involved. Thank you!!

I was very disappointed that a 15 min 3 month child cleaning Cost me $100.00 Never again..... I'll hand scale her teeth myself and polish them with Prophy paste that I also have at home!!!! Literally 15 min long...... how do you charge that kind of $$ for this????? My insurance only covers every 6 months and that's what I'm doing from now on!!!! This is ridiculous!!!!!!

I recently left another pediatric dental office and tried this one at the recommendation from another family member. My son is on the spectrum and is not always cooperative during cleanings or taking xrays. I have told the staff at the other office multiple times of our situation and I felt like I had to always repeat myself when different hygienists dealt with him. Also, one of their dentist lectured me about the importance of getting my son to do "whatever he wasn't doing at the time" even after I mentioned he was on the spectrum. I had NONE of that at this office. Dr. Erika really listened to me and to my son. She was very patient with him and used alternative methods to clean his teeth when he didn't want her using the electric instrument. She used a regular toothbrush...what a concept! She knew when he had enough and recommended to come another day for his xrays. When biting the xray film in his mouth and holding them straight was too much for him, she stayed in the room with him and held them up for him while her assistant took the shots. She also didn't lecture me on certain eating habits he had because she understood that he's a picky eater. She suggested alternative solutions. She treated me and my son with respect. My only regret is that I didn't find this office sooner. My most recent visit, the hygienist was just as pleasant, attentive and respectful. My son did not fight this visit. It could also be a maturity thing too, but I think the Dr. Erika provided a level of trust my son had no reason to be anxious.

Thrilled with this office! Took my 1 1/2 year old daughter to the West Islip office for her first dentist visit. The office was immaculate and extremely inviting. My daughter was excited to play in the beautiful waiting room. The staff was so friendly and really made it a positive experience for her, and the dentist, Dr. Erika, was informative and went out of her way to make her comfortable.

Great place overall but front desk receptionist Stacey is not trustworthy. I called to find out if I will pay anything, to check my insurance and she told me twice I won’t have to pay anything. However 2 days later after the visit she told me I have to pay 40 dollars. I know it’s not a lot of money , but I asked her twice and she reassured me I won’t have to pay. If she told me otherwise I would have waited 2 more months for the next visit.

Dr. Adelberg Montalvan's office was wonderful! It was my one-year-old daughter's first trip to the dentist and they were very sweet to her. The ladies at the front desk were very welcoming. Maria took us back and Dr. Ericka did her check up. I was very pleased with the whole experience! The only thing I would suggest is having a way for the paperwork to be completed prior to arriving because it was tough to hold on to my daughter and fill out the multiple sheets.

My daughter’s loose baby teeth were loose but not ready for me to pull and were causing her a lot of pain. I called up and she was seen the same day to have them pulled. I find AMPD very kind and responsive.

My son Gaven had his first "sugar bug" and the dentist and the dental hygienist were extremely patient and compassionate. I was extremely nervous and upset and they eased my tension as well. I highly recommend this office in West Islip.

We honestly can't say enough about Dr. Marc Adelberg and the whole team at Adelberg Montalvan Pediatric Dental. We have been using them for years. We have been to both the Massapequa Office and the West Islip Office. We regularly go to the Islip office now. Everyone from the front office staff to the hygienists to the dentists are friendly, kind and professional. My daughter is a nervous patient. (she is 9 and has been a patient of Dr. Adelberg since she is 4 I believe) Taking her to any medical professional can be a trial, but we never have a problem at the dentist. They set her (an me) right at ease. She doesn't even mind going. When she had to have a cavity filled a couple of years ago I thought it was going to be a major problem for the dentist, because she can be such a tough patient but they made her comfortable, gave her some sweet air and the whole thing was done quickly (with laser treatment) and painlessly with zero drama. You hear stories about pediatric dentists doing unnecessary and expensive work on kids. I never feel like I have to worry about that with this office. I highly recommend Adelberg Montalvan Pediatric Dental.

Both of my children, ages 9 and 2 (almost 3) go to the West Islip office. It is always a great experience! The entire staff is just remarkable with kids! From when we walk in the door until we walk out my kids are happy, comfortable and actually have a fun time at the dentist!! I wouldn't choose anywhere else to take my kids!!

From the minute we walked in the door we knew this was the dental office for my daughter. It calmed her and put her at ease. In the past she was really nervous and it was extremely difficult getting her to return to the dentist. Dr. Marc was really gentle with her and made her feel extremely comfortable. I really wish we would have discovered this practice earlier in her life but we know we are on the right track.

Dear Adelberg Montalvan Pediatric Dental, As always my appointment with both my kids Gabriella and Alexander have been spectacular! Alex was there about a week ago and Gabriella was there July 10th. I absolutely love the staff, the dentists, the hygenists and everyone that makes the practice run. You make the appointments so easy and just do an amazing job with kids. I have referred you to so many parents at both my kids' school. The appearance of the office makes it an adventure for my kids. They would go every week if they could. We brought our son for a second opinion. My husband felt the dentist was pushing for us to use anaesthesia on him, the prices of which were ridiculous!! They did a "cleaning" which was basically brushing his teeth.. they did NOT clean under the gum or use a scraper thingy (i cant remember the correct term for tool?) She used a toothbrush?? Very strange office visit.

The staff was all very pleasant and upbeat from receptionist to dentist. The dentist spent alot of time with my child and I answering all my questions and making my 2 1/2 year old feel comfortable. My child really enjoyed the experience, so much that I had to hang out in the waiting room for an extra 20 minutes AFTER his cleaning. Great office, wonderful experience.

When I was originally presented with my daughter dental needs I felt all the anxiety I would for my own. As we have now completed everything I wish it was me sitting in the chair as a patient as well. They provide children with a fearless environment setting a standard for thier dental care for the future. The care, kindness and stress free environment for these kids is unsurpassable. I was referred to this office from my dentist for my three year old. From making my appointment to walking through there door every second of my experience was beyond enjoyable. I had a little one who needed a root canal and thats something you dont want your child to go through. I so sick to my stomach and they made me calm and delt with my baby with such gentle love and care. Theres never a wait they don't over book patients it's amazing a practice exists like this anymore. Dr. Marc is awesome! He is gentle, caring, and funny, so children really feel at ease. Hw knows how to communicate everything he is doing so that the children don't feel anxious. He talks to them instead of around them. We are very happy with the care we receive from Dr. Marc and will tell all of our friends!

Absolutely love this place! The office is beautiful, clean and totally geared towards children. We never wait even 5 minutes to be called in, and everyone from the front desk to the hygienist to the dentist is super friendly. We don't have the best dental insurance so we pay for most of their visits but it feels good knowing that we are bringing them somewhere that takes great care of them. We had no problems with our 1 year old and 4 year olds checkups and cleanings, the staff knows what they're doing and keep them happy, entertained and laughing. Definitely recommend!

Five stars isn't enough. I have never felt so comfortable at a dentist office as I do with yours. The doctors have my complete confidence when treating my children. We do not live too close, and yet I would travel how ever far to bring my children there. Dr. Erika has a way with children that makes them comfortable regardless of the work being done. My son was very difficult at our last appointment and she handled it like a superstar. My wife and I recently took Olivia to the West Islip location and we were a little concerned cause we usually see Dr. Erika and she wasn't in that particular day. The other Doctor was just as nice and made Olivia feel very comfortable. This practice has quite the operation from the greeting we received upon arrival to the hygienist to the Doctor and rest of staff along the way. I almost feel bad for other offices' in the area because they could never mirror the satisfaction you leave this office with. A+++ overall and we highly recommend a visit to this practice.

My 5 year old daughter had to get her two baby teeth extracted. Dr. Erica and her assistant were so wonderful. They were so good with my daughter she didn't even feel when they were numbing her. They talked to her the entire procedure and made her feel at ease. The procedure was quick and painless. When they sat my daughter up she said "you pulled my teeth?? It's done??". I would recommend this office and staff to everyone!

We have been patients for about a year, we made the switch because I have one child with a disability and we had not found success at any other dentist. Each visit is even better than the last! Our dental hygienist, Nicole, is beyond awesome. She has been able to clean my child's teeth (completely) and get xrays! She had my child's (and my) complete trust.

Dr Marc and his staff are wonderful. They have gone above and beyond to help my son who has a Great fear of dentists. They have helped my son when no one else has. I brought my two year old son in and was so impressed. The facility is beautiful, the staff is so helpful and friendly and the dentist was amazing. Dr. Adelberg explained everything in detail and I left without any questions. We had such a positive experience and I recommend this office to all our friends and family. Wouldn't use anyone else... We use both office's, Massapequa, and West Islip... the Dr's are great right down to the staff in both offices... I feel that my kids are being treated with excellent care... they care for the children as if they were working with their children...

The hygienist removed head cap and wiped down chair while my child still had to be seen by dentist???? I had to ask for a towel for my child's head so she wasn't laying on it. Did not feel dentist was very friendlu

Everyone is wonderful and understandin at this office. They always have a smile and something positive to say event when they need to reinforce the importance of brushing.. The young ladies at the front are wonderful too, always try to help and keep me informed. We love it here!

We couldn't be happier with our visit. My son was terrified of the dentist and couldn't even get through a cleaning at our previous dentist 6 months ago. After switching to dr. Montalvan and dr adelberg he came out with a huge smile and cannot wait to go back. No more anxiety or stress. We cannot recommend this office enough!

I like to say my experience was great Dr Erica in west islip office was excellent my daughter gets very upset when she went to the dentist. Here this did not happy she was very pleased and happy after her visit the office was great !! We took the chance with this practice because our other dentist was too far to travel. We work full time and have 3 children who we want to maintain healthy teeth. Traveling became a problem for treatment.This practice was the best move we've made!!

Dr. Bennett was wonderful with my daughter. She is normally not the best patient and I was worried about the procedure because she needed a shot. He talked her through the entire procedure, asked her questions, told her stories, and basically kept her mind off of what was happening. I am so grateful I found this practice.

I brought my 2 year old son there for his 2nd cleaning The staff was unbelievably nice and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The office was clean and entertaining for children. Dr Erica was super nice and patient w both me and my son. The dental assistant was a doll too. It was a great experience. They were quick, efficient, very friendly, warm, overall great. I would highly recommend them!!!

Dr. Bennett is wonderful, explains and talks to you. He does not rush you out and takes time with you. We just changed to the W. Islip office and the lady at front desk was extremely nice and pleasant, she even explained what insurance would cover and made us aware of what was going to be out of pocket.

My 3.5 year old was seen by Dr. Bennett. He was friendly, took his time and explained everything related to her dental care. I don't remember the names of the office staff, but I was very happy with how friendly everyone was from when I made the appointment through the visit. My daughter left saying that she likes the dentist!

The appointment was 20 minutes late. While he did use the gas on my son, I dont know if he allowed enough time for it to kick in. I remember as a child, that they would place the mask on me and leave it on for a few minutes. They would leave me sitting in the chair,relaxing & inhaling from the gas and wait for it to take effect. This didnt happen for my son. He had a terrible time with the cavity filling. Im wondering if the appointment running late caused a rush thru with the laughing gas and not giving him time to breath it in or let it take effect. stacey at the the front desk is amazing and friendly.

My kids love going to the dentist and Dr. Erika. I have bad memories going to the dentist as a kid and having to get the novacaine shot. My kids go gladly, If they have a cavity that needs to be filled there is no pain. Everyone is always welcoming and friendly.
