Dr Yeghizarian is friendly, personable and extremely knowledgeable! I’ve never in all my years ever had an exam more comprehensive than my exam with this Doctor. He and Angela were helpful and honest and not trying to hard sell me into unneeded things as some optometrists do. I really appreciated their great customer service and highly recommend them both!

I came in understanding that the provider was in network for VSP. After a preliminary exam and a potential upsell that would not be covered I was examined by the optometrist. I was then looking a corrective lense options. Trying to stay within the parameters of my plan I was told the bare basement price was 255.00. So I left with my RX after paying 10.00. Buyer be ware. They are not part of VSP NETWORK. HOPEFULLY THEY WILL POST THAT OR INFORM THE CUSTOMER UPON PRESENTATION OF INSURANCE CARD. BIG WASTE OF MY TIME. Optometrist was excellent, office girls were nice. Possibly an honest mistake. My bad, but they could have informed me immediately.

Vision care is treated seriously and explicitly with the patient in mind. Medically required Ortho-K contact lenses and glasses have been critical to my care for decades. Now, after having cataract surgery with IOCs the attention is now focused on refining optimum vision. I am grateful to Dr. Peterson for monitoring changes and immediately referring me to my ophthalmologist for further care and surgery. Terri Ball has also been critical to making my day-to-day vision accurate with proper measurements, as well as assisting me to select the right frames.

The office staff are exceptional! They made me feel right at home and comfortable. When I wasn’t able to pay a small deductible until the next day, they still allowed me to get the care I needed and went above and beyond to let me know it was okay to pay the next day which I did. I’m not one that really knows what kind of glasses fit perfectly for my face shape and the lovely assistant was more than happy to give me some options of what she thought would look great and her and I ultimately decided on the same pair of glasses. She was amazing for that! I would highly recommend for anyone to go see them!

They are much more personable and they understand how insurance companies work. We didn’t feel rushed to pick out frames. We didn’t feel pushed into buying excessive items. The El Cajon location used to be like that but we followed Dr Mark to this location after too many bad experiences. I’m so glad this is our new office. Thank you.

The office is great with great personal. However, the laboratory needs to be changed or the lab personal needs to be revamped to expedite eyeglassware that customers are waiting for. It's been 5 weeks now and I am still waiting for them.

Everyone in the office from the receptionist to the doctor were very friendly and very professional, I found everyone to be knowledgeable and were able to answer my questions and explain things in a very understandable manner. My only disappointment was in the cost of the glasses, even with my insurance coverage the price was too high for me.

Dr. Yeghiazarian saved my vision by spotting a serious problem inside my eye in my retina that others had missed! He immediately informed my regular doctor who referred me for corrective surgery. If i had continued with my prior provider I was headed towards vision loss in that eye, as they just prescribed thicker and thicker lenses.

Then i didn't get the info i need to order contacts. So i called when i got home to get the info and they said they would call back with the info and no one ever called me.

In previous years when I’ve gone to vision centers I’ve had an average or below average experience and never knew it. From the moment I picked up the phone and spoke with Angela I could tell 20/20 La Mesa was going to be amazing! She radiated joy and had such a bubbly personality from the first phone call all the way to the end of my visit. When I arrived in the office for my appt, she kindly assisted me with all the pre doctor procedures and we instantly bounced off each other’s energy. She engaged conversation and made sure to make me feel super comfortable through it all! Talking with her I found out she’s been working there for 10 years alongside most of the team that has been there that long as well- so amazing (you can clearly see why). Angela is so beautiful inside and out and all around left an amazing first impression. The visit continued on its amazing track from there. Doctor Yagazariahn works efficiently without sacrificing customer service. UCLA alum with clear knowledge of optometry and a background in Psychology. I’ve never had an eye doctor explain vision in so much detail. He walked me through my prescription, explained the scan of my eye in detail, and even offered to dilate my eyes to make sure there was nothing unusual in the scan. He clearly cares about his clients and is so obviously meticulous and thorough. Onto Annie. ANNIE YOU’RE A FASHIONISTA QUEEN. Seriously this girl from the moment I walked into the office I could tell she had style. Helping me choose glasses frames I quickly came to realize she also had the sweetest & (respectfully) sassiest personality. When it comes to choosing frames, I am the most indecisive person to walk the planet and her response to that was “challenge accepted”. Her customer service was DELIVERED and she is SO good at what she does. She instantly helped pick out frames she thought would suit me and gave me GENUINE advice on each look. He was very thorough with the exams and questions to make sure we got my prescription just right. He was very easy to talk to and overall very nice, funny, and professional. His focus was on my eye health and getting the prescription just right rather than to upsell to unnecessary or pricey options. There was a good variety of options for frames. I received a lot of assistance and honest opinions on frame selection. Every part of the office looked clean and organized and they took great care to sanitize any surfaces on machines, equipment, and tables prior to patient use. I saw the staff helping each other out several times and they all seemed to be very happy. I left feeling very valued as a person and customer.

Everyone at 20/20 Vision is very friendly and professional. This clinic also has a great eyeglasses selection and has very modern equipment to test eye health. I was welcomed as soon as I stepped in the door and began my visit almost immediately. No waiting! Each of the tests was clearly explained before they were performed. Dr. Peterson is really friendly and provides comprehensive feedback in a way that is easy to understand. I felt my experience was very positive which is why I have been going to Vision 20/20 since I moved to the neighborhood 7+ years ago.

He addressed my concerns of needing prisms in my glasses and I received very thorough exam. He readily puts you at ease with his kindness. I certainly would recommend this office very highly.

I have been wearing glasses for long time and recently needed to find a new eye doctor due to change in insurance. I was also unhappy with my last eye doctor and was wanting to find a new doctor. 2020 Vision is excellent for service, competence, and friendly atmosphere. Even though I have private health insurance that covers vision, I have been an extremely satisfied long-time patient of 2020 which is outside my network. What they offer is outstanding customer service.
