5 STARS!! I had prelex, now complete for both eyes. I have worn corrective lenses since before kindergarten and I am well into my 50's, I have NEVER seen this well in my life. I look across the street and can see the leaves on the trees!! I could not have had a better experience, the staff and Dr Woodhams were very kind with my fright and answered all my questions until I was satisfied. They made me feel comfortable, were very professional and had took great care throughout this process. THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH FOR MY NEW BIONIC EYES!

I am still so impressed with Dr. Chartash at Woodhams Eye Clinic. He was able to diagnose my issue with my explainations of what was happening, extensive testing and consultation. Within an hour, he had the reason and the solution. My mind is now at ease and I have a treatment plan in place. I am already seeing almost as well as I was after my cataract surgery in 2018......

The personnel at Woodham's Eye were very professional and knowledgeable. They always did their best to make me feel comfortable and assured me when my anxiety kicked up. Dr. Livenwaugh was exceptional by ensuring my procedures were producing everything I expected and when there was a small 'hic-up' he said "we can fix that" and he did. I have worn glasses since I was 7 years old and have never been able to see very well with my left eye. Now I have 20//25 vision in my left eye and 20/20 in my right. It is fantastic to be able to actually see the leaves on the trees and not just a big green blur. Also, being able to see the bed-side clock in the morning, without fumbling for my glasses is a blessing.

My life has changed! Since I had the ISL surgery at Woodhmas Eye Clinic in 2006 the quality of my life has changed significantly. Dr. Dickie McMullan did an excellent job with my eyes. Even today after more than 13 years, my vision is great. Not only that, but every time I go there for a check-up, I receive a warm welcome by the staff and the people who do the measurement. Thank you!

Very pleased with the professionalism and quality of the care provided by Trevor and his staff at Woodhams. I had both cataract surgery and some lasik surgery with no complications or side effects and am very happy with the results. The overall service provided by everyone is above reproach.

I visited the top 3 clinics in the area prior to choosing Woodhams, I selected them based on a sense of confidence they gave me on this procedure. Before surgery we did a 2 hour consultation which included testing to "make sure" I was a good candidate. Afterwards, I was told I "was a perfect candidate". Having heard over and over how this would "change your life" I was excited that I would fix my farsightedness. They said I was in good hands, I paid out of pocket as I did not have insurance, I put it on my credit card as it was important for me. Unfortunately, the outcome was not as promised. I received no appreciable benefit from the surgery. After surgery they estimated 2 weeks for healing, I went back as requested for a follow up. At which time I expressed that I saw no difference, I was told to wait for improvements. I did a couple of follow up visits, 4 months later, at which point I was told to expect no further change or improvement. It was kind of "that's it, we're done". That day was my absolute worst experience. They told me they were not willing to do anything else, and the most humiliating of it all, I was then told by the operating doctor himself that I should just go buy a $5 pair of generic glasses. This is not an exaggeration or a joke, that is exactly what I was told, right in front of his own assistant, this is how I was treated after trusting them and spending $4,000. He told me this harshly, got up and walked away, with a bad attitude, he did not care, I felt treated like I was worthless, this was a shock for me to hear, I felt lied to, taken advantage of, and humiliated by this place. To this day no attempts have been made to work something out with me in attempt to correct this issue, I was simply tossed aside with no importance.

The dr said very little about what was actually wrong with my eyes and basically dismissed my problems, 2 weeks later I wake up with a bad abrasion, maybe some more guidance could have prevented this issue. He mentioned it "might" be something worse but not to worry about it, said I had an rx back in 1 eye, another dr says I do not. What a waste of 260 dollars.

This doesn't have anything much to do with Woodhams online presence except that the application of online technology seems to be way ahead of other computer technology that would simplify in-person visits. Here is my complaint with office visits to almost ALL medical clinics: I am asked to fill out forms that ask the same questions that I have answered every time I visit that office. Then, to add more useless form-filling, subsequent pages ask the same questions as were on previous forms.(Yes, my name and birthday are still the same, my allergies have not changed since the previous page, although my blood pressure probably has, etc.) Finally, I suppose, someone checks the form against the patient records in the office computer system. In other businesses, the so-called 'customer relationship management' system exchanges information with other modules to eliminate redundant data entry--that helps the 'customer' and the office. Why not have a computer system in a medical office that prints out the last form I filled out and simply ask me to write in anything that has changed? Damn, they are already printing out or reproducing those annoying forms for us to fill out, so it won't be much more of a problem to print out my information after I identify myself and let me review it. Perhaps SolutionReach can recommend to medical office clients a good CRM system.

Thank you! I had been to a supposed eye specialist for the fuzzyness in my right eye several years ago, and they had concluded that nothing was wrong with my eye, yet it was fuzzy in the center of my vision. I thought it was my lens getting cloudy but the folks at Woodhams did a real investigation to find the problem! It was determined that I have macular degeneration, unfortunately there is no solution for that, but at least now I know what is going on.

The staff and doctor were very thorough with every detail of the exams. The doctor then explained all of my options on vision corrections and gave his recommendation based on the condition of my right eye having been injured some time in my youth. Even though my procedure was not able to be completed on this trip, that just proves that they care about the patient. Dr Woodhams noticed an abnormality on one of my scans and postponed the procedure until we figure out what is going on. I am glad that he wants to do it correctly, not just do something!

We have been going to Dr. Woodhams' for over 20 years. My husband and I have had Lasik and cataract surgery. The staff is great and now we see Dr. Mora for our yearly check-up. She is wonderful. We don't get to see Dr. Woodhams as he is too busy performing surgeries, but I was able to see him for a consultation a few months back. He is still very nice and very friendly!

The staff was amazing from the moment I walked in the door. I made the surgical consultation with Nicolette. She was great and answered many questions before arriving. She greeted me upon arrival and Gary (techinician) took over. He was so personable. The exam was very thourough with many high tech scans, which took about 1.5hrs. The process didn't seem that long, as we were talking the entire time addressing questions and overall education about lasik. Dr. McCurry was very nice and spent time to look at all options and address all of my questions. He was very patient with me addressing all questions and concerns. There is a lot of information to absorb and to think about. I was amazed at the state of the art equipment in the facility. Excellent experience!

I had cataract surgery on my right eye back in June 2018 by Dr. Woodhams. Dr. Woodhams recommended that I have my left eye checked by Georgia Retina before proceeding surgery on my left eye. After 6 visits to Georgia Retina & 6 eye injections I came back to Dr. Woodhams for an evaluation on my left eye. I love Dr. Woodhams & his entire staff - they are extremely friendly & helpful. Dr. Woodhams always takes his time and you never feel like he is rushing you through an appointment. After his evaluation on my left eye I will be having cataract surgery on my left eye in a few weeks.

I would like to say that surgery with Dr Woodham for pre lex went well. However, since having it I noticed my pupils are not contracting as small as they should. Therefore it is difficult to focus clearly on things such as painting my nails ( I have to put reading glasses on to see)or seeing the clasp for a necklace, driving at night is difficult. (I still see a halo effect on headlights) I mentioned this concern and got no legitimate resolve to my issue from Anar Maurya. I was told I would see Dr Woodham for this post op visit and did not. All Mrs Maurya kept asking was if I was taking any new medication or supplements. I have not changed any medication that would cause this to happen. I didn't have it before the surgery, I noticed it right after the surgery and in the three months post op it is still not contracting properly. There should be a way of resolving this issue but wasn't offered even to see Dr Woodham. I'm not real pleased with this last visit. It seems like they want to wait and then charge me for something else later. I have spent over 5000 out of pocket for this surgery and I feel it should have given better results. Most of my vision is okay except I have to either pull my computer within ten inches of my face or wear reading glasses to see the writing, vision at night is less than desirable, I still have halo's around car lights pretty bad, & having to wear glasses to paint my nails is a bit ridiculous.

After waiting 45 minutes after my 10:00 appointment time and never counting fewer than 17 people in the waiting room, I told the receptionist that I could wait no longer. She apologized for huge crowd and I appreciate that, but I wasted my time and I don't appreciate that. Of the people I observed in the waiting room, no one was there obviously due to an emergency. Emergencies are an entirely different story. I don't believe annual check up appointments and follow-up appointments should be overbooked assuming that the patients will just wait for their turns on the assembly line. (I did make a new appointment for the first opening when the office doors open this week.)

I have always taken pride in the excellent vision I have had like reading billboards a half mile out or seeing a golf ball at 300 yards. Over the past several years I have seen a continual deterioration in the quality of my vision whereas I have been unable to track a golf ball once hit, read a billboard without blurriness even close by, read a book even with high magnification reading glasses or watch my eight year old son play sports without the blurriness. I was amazed with the 7 or 8 various tests Woodham's Eye Clinic's technicians put my eyes through. After the tests I was provided an easy understanding of the aging process on my eyes and the alternatives to restore my vision. I have schedule the first procedure with the clinic in about 2 weeks.

Just visited for first exam- Loved the professional yet personal environment. Briannica was extremely thorough during testing and very personable- she made sure I was comfortable at each testing and that I understood each measurement. Dr Woodhams and Dr McCurry were super professional and answered all of my questions about Prelex - Dr McCurry even gave me a mini-science lesson on eye anatomy- which I needed! I had previously gone to another eye group but my husband told me how happy he was with Woodham's Eye Clinic. I took him up on it because, to his credit, my husband is very particular. I have to say, hands down, Woodham's is now where I will go for eye care. Dr. Woodham's clearly, kindly and intelligently went through my current eye situation. He is the kind of doctor you thought didn't exist--excellent bedside manor as well as sharp and intelligent. I was referred to Woodhams from a client and friend of ours. I have been told by several other eye clinics that there was nothing they could do. They could not repair both nearsightedness and farsightedness. With the Prelix procedure from Dr Woodham I will be able to not wear glasses at all :-). I never wore glasses until I was 40 and with my active lifestyle it will be so great to not have to wear glasses forever :-) Thank you for your professionalism and expertise.

MY FIRST TIME VISIT WAS AMAZING, the staff was very friendly and curtesy. There technologist explain the procedure as well as process so that I would feel at ease with the services that they offered. I was very satisfied with your staff they were very professional. The only issue troubled me is an extra 30 minutes wait , My appointment was at 8:45 AM , My exam started at 9:20 AM . As a physician myself I consider the values of my patients time is equal to the value of my time , and after long deliberation , I found if I do not pack my schedule , see couple of patients less per day , I am able move my patients without making them wait more than 10-15 minutes max . This has provide me with excellent feed back from my patients

I could not be more please with the service at Woodham's Eye Clinic. They were very friendly and personal, which you would want to "see" anywhere. But the best part of Woodhams is how thorough they are when examining your eyes. I went to another clinic before and they did not have the sophisticated equipment that Woodhams uses. Dr. Woodhams is the nicest and very professional. His staff members are the same every time I have been there. I had lens replacements and afterwards my vision had been a littler cloudy but I can see better. I was a 2.75 and now I’m a 1.0 I see close up, read shave, etc. I went back yesterday and had a lazer treatment that he said would help with the cloudiness. So far my eye site is the same I can not tell any difference since the lazer treatment.

My husband and I have always received the best care for our eyes by going to Woodhams Eye Clinic. This time in peticular was no exception, During my routine eye check a tear in my retina was detected by Dr Maurya and I was sent straight to the Georgia Retina Eye Center for laser surgery to repair the tear. Due to her exstensive check she probably saved me from having to have eye surgery or even damage to my eye. As with all the staff always the most thorough and pofessional treatment. Excellent experience. Thank you for a very pleasant and educational time. The Doctor was and technician both took time to explain what the tests would be doing and what the results meant. They were both very pleasant . The only negative: I went to ladies room and there were no paper towels. I mentioned this to the ladies at the front desk. About 15 minutes later I returned to the ladies room and still no paper towels. Then about 10 minutes later the third time I went into the ladies room there were no paper towers. It would have only taken a minute or less to restock. The office staff was courteous but did not appear to be exceptionally busy --- or concerned. Certainly there must have been someone who could have taken a minute and put some hand towels out on the counter.

Brittania Hale was particularly efficient and nice. The doc tried too hard to suggest eye surgery to correct my vision. I was irritated by that and a little disgusted. I also was at the office for a very long time and would have liked to have been shown much more respect of my time. I already knew I was forming cloudy lens in eyes. The doc made a big deal out of that. I will continue to treat my eyes with respect. I sensed that selling corrective eye surgery is your main business plan. It felt like a car dealership in your waiting room.

I came back from vacation with itchy, swollen eyes and sticky gunk coming out, too. Never had this happen before, so naturally, I was a little freaked out! My experience with Woodham Eye Clinic was not pleasant. This was my first visit. I went there because my Dr. Was now working there. My appointment was for 9:30 and I wasn't called back until 10:45, and didn't leave the office until 11:50. This was an appointment that should have taken about 1 hour. The front office was disorganized and there were many upset people waiting. Although they said they had some sort of a power failure, there eas no attempt to communicate and they were unwilling to reschedule. I don't know that I will be returning.

i have cloudiness in one eye and floaters in the other. I'm constantly trying to blink them away. I was treated very well until I pointed out these issues and said I wasn't happy with my vision. Dr. Woodhams seems to think I should be happy that I don't need contacts or glasses anymore. Before this procedure I didn't have cloudiness (unless my contact was smudged) and had barely noticeable floaters occasionally. I remember the goal was to have crystal clear vision. How long does that take?

I do not appreciate the hard sell for Progressive Lenses and In-House frames at every visit. I prefer to purchase my hardware outside of the clinic and would greatly appreciate being given a choice to opt-out of the in-house optical hard sell experience. THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME THAT I SAW DR CLAUDIA PRIEGO MD. SHE IS VERY PERSONABLE, ENTHUSIASTIC, HAS A GOOD DEMEANOR,AND DOES AN EXCELLENT JOB.. SHE DID A VERY GOOD JOB AND WAS VERY PLEASANT TO WORK WITH. SHE HAS TWO DAUGHTERS IN COLLEGE, ONE AT UGA AND ONE AT EMORY STUDYING TO BE A DOCTOR.I DR WOODHAM, I THINK YOU SHOULD GIVE HER A RAISE TO HELP PAY ALL THOSE COLLEGE COST. ALL THREE OF THE PEOPLE I SAW ON MY LAST VISIT WERE EXCELLENT. I WILL BE COMING IN TO GET THE YAG LASER IN A FEW DAYS.

I had lasik surgery in 2001. I come back for my yearly exams even though I have now moved 2 hours away. I liked that they used reversal drops after dilating my eyes but now they can not get the drug. They are an easy drive off 285, have parking, clean facility, often seen earlier than appointment time, send reminders yearly and file my insurance. JLG

I called the day of my appointment and told them I have a migraine but they still told me to come down. When I got there I was informed that the tests would not be accurate as my migraine had made my eyes very dilated and I was extra sensitive to light. Thus I spent an hour and 20 minutes in Atlanta traffic for nothing. Not happy.

I always receive first-class treatment at Woodhams Clinic. The entire staff is knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Over the years I have had very successful Lasik surgery there, as well as cataract surgeries in both eyes later on. All have been great. Since my vision is so good, I now go annually for a routine eye exam since I am diabetic. Results: all clear and no signs of diabetic eye damage. I highly recommend Woodhams Eye Clinic. Dr. Woodhams himself has done all of my eye procedures and they were painless and very successful. He is the best!

My experience at my recent appointment for the tests prior surgery was an excellent one. Everyone was very pleasant and professional. I was especially happy to meet Dr. Woodhams and am looking forward to his doing my surgery. Especially since he had recently performed cataract surgery on my brother Gerry Effen who has been very pleased with the results.

I honestly can not believe you sent me to drive myself home after having my eyes dilated. Even with your supplied sun glasses over my own sunglasses I could barely see and nearly had two separate accidents. I will not be returning ever again.

My recent visit was for my annual check up and the YAG laser procedure to remove the film following a 3-yr ago cataract implant. Everything was thoroughly performed by the efficient and friendly staff. Plan on seeing everyone again next year. I've been a patient of Dr. Woodhams for 25-years, that pretty well sums it up.

All and all everything went very well other than I made my appointment with Dr. Livernois and I was seen by a Dr. Mariah. She was very nice but I really wanted to be seen by a MD. As this was approximately 18 months after Dr. Livernois did both my cataract surgeries that caused me a lot of problems post op.

Yesterday I had an appointment with Dr. Trevor Woodham at Woodhams Eye Clinic. I have worn glasses since I was in 5th grade and I am 55 years old now. I have had more eye exams than I can recall. This is by far, the most thorough eye exam I have ever had in my entire life. Because the exam was so thorough, a problem with my retina was discovered. Please note that I had an eye exam with my Ophthalmologist just a few months ago and nothing was identified. I will most definitely continue to see Dr. Woodhams as I am completely sold on the service I received here.

I had cataract surgery at Woodhams and was very pleased with the professional care I received. I chose the multi-focal lens, which was not covered by Medicare. I have 20/20 vision, however, do have shadows. I was told at a follow-up appointment my eyes are dry, even using eye drops daily, the problem persists.

My provider had repeatedly told me that my myopia could not be corrected surgically and that I was a poor candidate for contacts. I wore prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses, but detested the fact that I was having to constantly switch out the pairs whenever I ventured outside. My husband grew tired of my complaining (surprise, surprise) and urged me to contact Woodhams Eye Clinic for a consultation. I just knew the staff would confirm what my provider had been telling me for over 13 years. My husband now has the last laugh because the staff presented me with several surgical options, one of which (Presby-Fix) I'm signed up to have performed.

I have always found all employees very helpful & very pleasant. When I was being scheduled for surgery I believe it was Amanda was very helpful about insurance ,prescriptions & reassuring me that I shouldn't be anxious about the surgery. Not being put to sleep was a little upsetting to begin with but am feeling better about it now. .I had to make several phone calls and everyone I talked to were very helpful.
