I saw my regular eye doctor yester and he was extremely please with the pictures he took and the emprovement to the swelling in both eyes. He had nothing but praise for the success that Dr. Pecen has had in treatment. My only area of concern is the availability of appointments. I can see that there are a number of patients in the Asheboro area who need this treatment. Yet Dr. Pecen is the only doctor in the practice who can offer it and she is only available for half days on Thursdays. This creates a emmense conflict to my sick days at work. I really wish there were some afternoon appointments available.

I always receive excellent service at Walker Eye Care. From the receptionist signing me in, to the technician who dilates my eyes and runs the eye scanning machines, to getting a set of glasses ordered, these folks do a wonderful and professional job. Dr. Walker is easy-going and provides superb care. He will answer questions when asked, and is willing to accommodate special requests if not too far out in left field.

Dr. Walker and his staff are amazing! The office is upscale and everything is absolutely spotless! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because they have a poor selection of eyewear. The lobby is huge and there's plenty of room for more products. I wish it would have been a one-stop shop for me. I would much rather spend my money at a locally owned and operated establishment.

Doctor Walker is very personable and gave excellent and thorough exam. Staff is efficient and friendly. The optician that did they eyeglass fitting ordered the wrong prescription and the lenses has to be remade. The prescription was for a bifocal and I only wanted the reading part made. She ordered the distance instead Other than that I would have gave five stars.

Dr. Walker was amazing. I ain’t give five stars due to my treatment by the very young and disrespectful receptionist. She acted like she was put out due to my insurance and didn’t want to let me attend my appointment without even offering me a cash option. I had to pressure her to do her job. Once I. They answer the phone with a friendly voice. Dr. Walker makes the exam very comfortable and always takes the time to talk with you. It’s nice to have a doctor that listens to me. I’ve been to others that disregarded me and I ended up with incorrect glasses because of it. Dr. Walker is funny, kind, and caring to his patience. We are new to the area and needed to have our eyes checked, so I did what any normal person would do and I Googled "eye docs near me". Walker Eye Care showed up in the search results and I began reading the reviews. All were positive and the location of the clinic was perfect, so I scheduled the family for check ups. The staff is amazing and so so friendly. The exam was efficient and enjoyable (believe it or not). All around the whole experience was fantastic. I have to reiterate that the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and that made all the difference. We had a wonderful experience and would hands down recommend Walker Eye Care for all of your vision needs!!

I was pleased with the staff and their promptness. I was very disappointed in being charged $105 to instruct me on how to put my contact in. I feel like this should have been included in visit. Do you charge people how to wear their glasses? I was first told this would be an hour tutorial. I said I had previous engagements. They said they could do it in 30 min. It actually took 15/20 mins. How a normal tutorial lasts longer I can not understand. For this reason I will not go back or will not recommend. I should have listened to the person I talkative before going in. Live and learn.

I specifically took a half day of vacation 6-8-17 to take my 83 year old Dad to get his new glasses (to pick up mine too) and the office was closed. We arrived at 2:10pm (others arriving too ....and leaving not too happy) and waited until about 2:30pm ...returning again after 3:00 to check again - AND NO SIGN OF LIFE AT THE BUSINESS!!! The answering service (I called twice!) made no mention of an early closing nor was there any notice posted on the door. In my opinion, this is no way to treat customers. I understand that emergencies can happen that will shut down an office, but to not communicate this in some fashion ...DURING POSTED NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS is poor business practice. There's no excuse for this ...it's a shame to treat paying customers in such a cavalier fashion. It's too bad that my (and my Father's) after-the-sale experience was not favorable. Some of the other customers were not any happier than we were. Yes I am extremely disappointed!

Felt as if I was an inconvenience to some of the staff and felt the exam was rushed. My prescription is not correct but to late to change already purchased new lenses and am trying to deal with it. may end up putting old lenses back in my frames. Overall not the best experience.

Poor staff and very Poor "DR" Will gladly take your money and insurance and give you pain and headache in return. The "DR" doesnt listen unless and doesnt respond to direct complaints. 0 out of 5 and I have been going here for 20 years. Something has changed But the "DR" here doesnt care about you only your money.

It is very unfortunate that you did not like any of the trial lenses that you were given and feel shortchanged. We never want our patients to feel like their concerns were not addressed.
