Dr. Patel was very nice and professional. I had my appointment and my son's appointment right after, but mine went longer and they had to take care of him while finishing up my exam. They did wonderful job! Also, the young lady that took me back to the room first was very nice and explained things very well. I can't remember her name...I tried to remember it from her name tag, but I'm old and forgot! Between her and Dr. Patel, they made it a very pleasant and enjoyable appointment.

Four and a half stars . Staff was friendly and professional . Was only slightly disappointed in that there was no guarantee of being able to count the dimples on a golf ball at 300 yards .

I saw Dr. McClure at the Garrett, Indiana, office. I had never been there before and was impressed at how it offered many frame options, was clean, and had all the equipment I was used to at the Auburn, Indiana, office. Dr. McClure was friendly and knowledgeable as she always is.

The Garrett office staff went above and beyond in making sure my new prescription after an eye surgery gave me the best vision possible. They re-did my initial exam with no charge after I could not see as well as I expected with my updated prescription. They also re-made my lenses with no charge. Everyone was very patient, friendly and helpful!

I get super nervous and always have with going to the eye doctor. I have contacts and glasses but have not been to an eye doctor in several years. I was referred to Vision Source by my significant other for a thorough eye exam that was definitely over due! The staff was very friendly and personable. I saw Dr. McClure and she was fantastic! I can honestly say I have never been that comfortable at the eye doctor. I will continue my routine eye exams and trust Vision Source with my eye care needs!

Megan saw me on short notice. She diagnosed an eye irritation (ulcer?) and gave me some drops. After taking the drops as prescribed the irritation went away. I am pleased that she accurately diagnosed my issue, provided the appropriate medication and that the issue went away in time for me to wear my contacts on spring break. Thanks Megan!

Well, considering the insurances that I have, when I come in and I ask you if this visit is covered by my insurance, I am not only asking you if the exam is covered, I am asking if exam, lenses and/or frames are covered. When I am being told that it’s all been run through the insurance and it’s all OK, and I go through the entire exam and I’m told at the end that my right eye lens needs to be changed, (not once but twice in the last 6 to 8 months this has happened) and when I get done with your exam, I go out to sit down with the lady at the table to discuss lenses and glasses... that’s when I find out that it is two or three years too soon with my insurance. •••Now you did explain to me afterwords (this time), that with my insurance and exam is covered once a year, but glasses and or lenses only every five years. Thank you for explaining that to me, but if they’re not going to cover anything other than the exam, then there is no point in you telling me of any changes that need to be made, when I am not capable financially of even considering making these changes. I feel like it is a waste of my time when you do that. ***Tell me straight up when I get there and ask you if my insurance is going to cover this. This is the point when you need to say yes they will cover the exam, but no, they will not cover anything else at this point. This is when you should say this, ***not at the end. I’m sure this is a review you are not going to want to put out there for people to see. You asked me for a review, this is what I’ve got to say about it. And by the way… As I continue with this survey, I will be rating it as far as the visit itself, and the people that I dealt with. I will not be rating it on how I feel and what I just wrote.

First visit fine, when I picked up glasses told gal "I couldn't put my finger on it exactly, but there is something funky with the glasses", she said if I have a problem, call, make appt., they can adjust, or replace to get them right. 5 wks later, told my glasses are not under a warranty, according to my insurance coverage, seriously! Vision Source doesn't guarantee that the glasses they provide are able to be worn! This after being adjusted over 15 times in the arm and nose piece, which had to weaken the joints, and still didn't solve the problem! A complete waste of time and insurance benefits! I have unwearable glasses! For what they charge the insurance company I can go down to the economy eyeglass shops and get 10 usabe pairs, or 5 with antiglare, etc., and they all offer a satisfaction guarantee.

Dr McClure was amazing. I was in a lot of pain from my eye problem and she was very sympathetic and did everything she could to ease the pain. She also stayed right on top of my ulceration to make sure it was getting better. Love the Garrett and Auburn offices. Everyone was very friendly!!

Dr was overs half hour late for appointment but I was given a discount certificate for the inconvenience. It was first time at the Garrett office and much prefer the auburn office. Did not have as big of selection of frames as auburn.

Not sure what the doctors name was but she was very nice.I was given a $40 gift card, which was a nice surprise and I was happy to hear that glasses were 50% off.That was one of the main reasons that I decided to get glasses as well as contacs. I have not received either so as far as commenting on the final products, I will have to wait. Overall it was a good appointment

When someone is picking out frames you should start with the lowest priced ones first,, then work up, I didn't look at the price of my glasses till I got home and looked at the bill and realized I spent 215.00 on mine,,, I would not downs that much on frames wish I would of realized that before I left I would have changed them. Other then that I love this place !

Receptionist was waiting on another patient so I waited a few moments behind him and then sat down just across from the window. Another patient came in and walked right up to the window, somewhat "butting in line". My wait wasn't that big of a deal. However, perhaps she should have been a bit more observant and asked the second gentleman to have a seat and then waited on me first. Just a suggestion.
