Visit was very nice. Very thorough. The young later that worked with me first was wonderful.. So kind and professional. The doctor was very nice and I think he is very knowledgeable. He explained everything well. The only complaint.. well not really a complaint was the lady that helped with my paperwork.. Wasn't as friendly as the rest. Was a bit helpful, but I just felt like she would rather be doing something else. it was at the end of the day, so I can understand. Sure it will be better next time. Overall experience was very positive.

I love using Dr Matt Habel for my eye health. He is always very concerned with how my diabetis affects my eye health. He has a new machine that can take pictures of your ryrs without dialating them now which was great for me. My Devoted health plan which said it was an in network provider doesn't not pay the medical diabetic part of my exam. I still opted to use Dr Matt Habel as they do an awesome job and I would never use anyone else.

Just moved in Henagar and was searching for a good Eye Doctor. Well, I found a GREAT Eye Doctor!! Dr. Habel is a fantastic Eye Doctor!! He listens to all your concerns and needs when it comes to your Eyes. I feel so Lucky being able to have him as my Eye Doctor due to his outstanding communications he relays to his patients. Thank you so very much for all your concern Dr. Habel, and finding that I have a mild case of Macular Degeneration. Seeing that my case is mild, he instructed me to take over the counter PreserVision. If I hadn't made a appointment with him, I very well could have the Macular Degeneration progress from mild to severe! If you want a very caring Doctor, I highly recommend Dr. Habel!! Thank you!

The waiting time is very minimal. The receptionist is always very nice and friendly. Actually, all the staff is super. I’ve been going here several years, and I have much confidence in them all. Dr Martin and Dr Matt are very thorough in their exam and are easy to discuss all questions and concerns with. Selena is precious, very conscientious and friendly. She’s a great asset to the clinic.

We love this place! They're super friendly and welcoming. We were going to another local place last year. They ended up giving me glasses that were half the strength of my old ones. The staff at Vision Plus is always above par! I was in to pick up my new glasses and unfortunately the prescription was not quite right. They worked diligently to get a better fit in an attempt to get it to work, but unfortunately it did not. They then went above and beyond to find a time for me to come back in to recheck my vision to get the correct prescription. Sometimes things don't go as planned, but Vision Plus staff were great at helping correct the issue. Thank you! See you again soon!

First time patient. Very pleased with the visit. They were much more thorough than the last eye clinic I went to. The result is I see much better with the recommended contacts. Ones I’ve never tried. The doctor also explained the correct way to condition your eyes to contacts. Which I have never before been told or heard of. I also wear glasses and they had a very good selection of frames, more than I needed. The doctor and the tech were a pleasure to spend time with and very competent and again thorough.

Every person I encountered introduced themselves, were friendly, patient, and very helpful. Glad to see that each piece of equipment used was cleaned. All my questions were answered in detail. It is always a good experience to visit Vision Plus. Professionalism, attention to the customer, quality eye care, and the relationship built up over 30+ years all contribute to the experience. It is a place where everyone knows their business and does it well. In an era when the visit to the Optometrist is becoming less needed with the online eye glass providers and the eye exam in the mall environment it is refreshing and still needed to visit the Optometrist.

I was very at ease with Dr. Martin..... He explained everything about my eye problems and what needed to be done to make my sight better. He and his office personnel took care of setting up an appointment to have my cataract removed from my left eye. I am having it done in Scottsboro as the doctor who does this in Fort Payne will not accept my insurance. I appreciate everything he and his personnel have done for me and I will have my follow up care done by his office....

He is very through during the exam. Dr. Habel explains every step and gives you plenty of options for your needs. I wasn’t sure about contacts and he put me at ease and answered every concern I had. He’ll also have you laughing the whole time:)

My first visit was amazing. They were very welcoming and took the time to explain each step of the way (considering I haven't been to the eye Dr in 10+ years.) The lady was very patient teaching me how to use my first pair of contacts and picking out glasses from the large selection. Th Dr helped pick the best type of contacts to handle my work environment instead of starting me off in a basic pair to start.
