My husband and I have been going to Valley Vision for 5 years now. We are so extremely happy there. Dr. Hastie is a consummate physician and is so extremely kind. The front office staff are truly professional and make us feel very welcome. Highly recommended for your eye needs.

I went to several different optometrists after we moved to New Hampshire, but none I wanted to return to after the first visit. I was going 2-3 years between appointments because it was so frustrating to not get good care. Then I found Dr. Hastie at Valley Vision 3 years ago & have been back every year since. She and the entire staff are friendly, professional, welcoming, knowledgeable and kind.

I have always been happy with your office and Dr. Hastie, However the reason I only am giving 3 stars is because this last visit, I ordered new frames and a new prescription and the person that waited on me, when I picked them up and fitted me to them, had a little attitude I did not like when I kept telling her that they were blurry. Then I finally said it is like I have my old prescription on, she said oh no and looked it up, yup when she ordered them she ordered the same prescription of the glasses I have. Her attitude changed immediately and she apologized for making that mistake. I let it go and laughed it off, but maybe next time when a client tells her their glasses are blurry she doesn't cop and attitude.

The best place in the upper valley to have your eyes examined. Dr. Jones is the most thorough Optometrist I have ever experienced. He prides himself on the technology he utilizes to provide a complete analysis of the state of your eyes and eyesight and advises on procedures you may need now and in the future. He also has an excellent professional relationship with the Ophthalmologists at DHMC for surgical eye procedures. The Optician associated with Dr. Jones' practice is excellent and very knowledgeable about the various types of frames and lenses available to complete the process...large selection, reasonably priced, one stop shopping!

She is a professional who takes her job very seriously and will go the extra mile to solve an issue that does not have an easy answer. She has helped my troublesome eyes for a couple of decades and, after seeing 9 specialists over a couple of years, she was to one who found a way to help relieve my allergic, itchy eyes. Michelle was an incredible help. I developed conjunctivitis the day before Thanksgiving, but didn't think it was urgent enough to require a visit during the holiday. When I called on Monday, Michelle took all my information, relayed it to Dr. Hastie, and promptly called me back to schedule an appointment within the next couple hours. Dr. Hastie was fabulous, and I am happy to report that all is resolved after just two days on the prescribed eyedrops. Great service at this practice!

My wife and I recently transferred to this eye care provider. DHMC provided zero support, and wait times were horrible. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Valley Vision Eyecare. Everyone in the office is so friendly; their equipment state of the art (compared to DHMC), and ease of getting from the car to the office so much better that dealing with the rat's maze at DHMC. If you are feeling the same disappointment with the "big house" try Valley Vision-I am sure you will love them too!!

I don't like going to the doctor. Any doctor. This was such a different experience! Dr. Hastie is pleasant, interested in the whole person and is very thorough. Staff was extremely friendly and efficient. Dr. Andrew Jones got me in and out quickly and took time to explain several things to me. I switched here when my prior doctor was always sending me the wrong contacts and billing was always wrong. I've been very happy so far with this switch. My only painpoint is their system texts me a reminder and I say Yes I am going. It then does this again the next day and then it emails me as well to ask if I'm going. I'd like it to do once and be done.

As always, superb eye care. Dr.Jones has been my optometrist for years. My eyes are somewhat problematic. He always takes the time to explain what the various tests and exams will reveal. He gives clear explanations of treatment options and the pros and cons involved. Questions are answered throughly iand in terms that are easy to understand, rather than medical jargon. 5 stars are far too few.

I have been to many optometrists in the past all over the northeast and Valley Vision is by far the best. After moving to the upper valley, I wanted a local business I could support with quality care. Everyone there is so kind and considerate, fitting me into appointments and understanding of my crazy unpredictable work schedule. Dr. Jones is thorough and takes time explaining everything. They have my best interest and I have never felt as if they’re trying upsell products or tests. I never write reviews but their service is truly impeccable and want to express my appreciation! I had a pair of expensive glasses that were fit improperly. I got a year of use from them. I mentioned they were fit improperly and I was given 10% off my next pair and told I should have come in sooner. The optometrist never apologized for fitting them improperly and wasting several hundred dollars of glasses. The doctor and the optometrist are excellent, but I got a bad fitting and a worse resolution.

I recently had my annual eye check up at Valley Vision. Dr. Hastie has been the eye doctor for my family for many years. As always, the visit was informative and useful. I had a thorough exam and we went over any over any issues and concerns. Dr. Hastie is knowledgeable and helpful and answered any questions I had. The office workers up front are courteous and professional. A satisfactory visit all around.

It took me 10 years to find an Optometrist I'd return to and I'm so happy I finally visited Valley View! Dr. Sheila Hastie and the whole staff are just wonderful. Even as a new patient with an expired contact lens prescription they made me feel welcome. Dr. Hastie's exam was thorough and not only is she intelligent, skilled and experienced, she's got a good sense of humor, too. In network, out of network, it doesn't matter to me any more what the insurance companies say, Valley View's where I'll go from now on!

Dr. Hastie has cared for my eyes for many years. I followed her to her new business when she left her former employer, as I felt confident that she offered the best professional help I could find. I have signs, but as yet no symptoms, of both macular degeneration and glaucoma, due to my age, and see Valley Vision Eyecare every six months to monitor these conditions. I wear glasses, and occasionally contacts. Dr. Hastie is patient with my many questions and thorough in her explanations. I fell behind on maintaining my yearly eye exams and after months of working from home it became terribly obvious what a bad decision that was. I had brought my sister to Valley Vision last year for her eye exam and was impressed with the office and how well she was treated. I had seen my PCP for a possible scratch in my eye. They suggested calling Dr. Hastie’s office to ask if they would see me as Upper Valley Vision had more specific equipment to look at my cornea. I was in the office same day. Everything is kept very clean, wiped down after every visit and everyone was wearing masks. Dr. Jones was efficient and thorough. I was out of the office in less than 15 minutes. I was glad I’d made the call and gone in. My eye would’ve eventually healed, but seeing Dr. Jones healed my eye probably 3-4 days faster.

Very detailed exam with knowledgeable doctor. My only complaint was I was told I had a $25 credit from my last appointment. Goos news yes but if I never had returned to this business would they simply have kept these funds. I think who ever posts their payments needs to audit for other outstanding credits. I’m sure this was not done maliciously but it’s still troubling.

I recently had an urgent eye issue come up that was distorting my vision. They not only managed to get me an appointment within an hour or two, but they had me seated in a room almost the moment I walked in. The staff and Dr. Hastie were professional and friendly, and after determining what the issue was made sure that I was able to be seen by a specialist at DMHC as soon as possible. Valley Vision is my go to location for eye care, and I would trust them with anyone I know.

I have been wearing glasses for nearly 20 years and have been to many eye doctors, I never thought I would love my eye doctor, but I have been raving about my experience to everyone I know. Dr. Jones really took the time to listen to what I had going on with my eyes and helped to troubleshoot the issue. He made an assessment that my last two doctors had neglected, my lenses weren't fitting quite right. I was worried that a sudden visual change signified a major problem. When I called the practice where I had been a patient for many years, I was told they couldn't fit me in and they recommended that I go to the ER. I called Valley Vision Eyecare and was able to see Dr. Jones that same day, probably extending his day by a good hour. He was very reassuring and thorough, explaining things as he went. I saw him again recently and was just as happy as with my first visit.

Dr. Hastie was very thorough, on time and listened to my concerns. I had gone to another optometrist in the area when Dr. Hastie left the Upper Valley area for a short time. My first visit to Valley Vision was excellent. I used the online scheduling tool to make my appointment and was pleased to find that I could get one on a relatively short time-frame (I made the appointment on a Friday for the following Monday). The office is conveniently located, with ample parking, and is beautiful inside with a nice, clean waiting area, friendly staff, and decent frame selection to browse while you wait. The patient rooms are equipped with the latest technology and I was pleased to avoid the "air puff" experience with a newer pressure-testing tool that is MUCH lighter - I couldn't even feel it! Dr. Hastie was very friendly, answered all of my questions, and didn't rush me at all. I felt well taken care of and had a very pleasant visit. My husband will be switching to their practice soon and I have already recommended Valley Vision to several coworkers.

Excellent service and attention. Dr. Hastie had been my Optometrist at my last eyesore provider, so I followed her here when she and her partner opened the Lebanon office. The optician was also extremely knowledgeable and helpful; he even ordered two pair of glasses for me to look at. PS: Dr. Hastie helped me decide on the right frames - it was like the "which is better, 1 or 2" from the eye exam.
