The appointment was great but i have to comment that the receptionist/ scheduler was lacking. On the phone she was not extremely helpful which I would have ignored but then after the appointment when we asked about follow up appointment reminders she was rude and not helpful at all.

This experience was great for me! All my questions and concerns were addressed. Its been a while since going to the Eye Dr and this was simple, easy and painless! They have an awesome machine that I didn't have to get my eyes dilate and the Dr was able to still take a picture and check the health of the back of my eyes! Amazing!

It was a better visit than I anticipated. I can't stand having my eyes dilated or anything near my face, and they have the technology to give me a full eye exam without dilation and making feel uncomfortable.

The girl at the front desk with the leg brace on is always excellent. The person doing the precheck (woman) didn't give a lot of instruction. After being seated to wait purchase my (expensive) glasses there was a woman in the area but she would not acknowledge me. A "someone will be right with you" would be nice.

The staff is great! Dr. Owens spends as much time with you as you need to ensure your questions are answered. I was referred to Mile High Eye Institute for my LASIK consultation, which they do monthly at Vail Valley Vision, a nice option for those who are considering the procedure. I went for my consultation at their office on a Friday and was able to schedule the LASIK procedure with Mile High Institute at their Denver office on a Monday. Appreciated the referral from Vail Valley Vision!

I had been to Vail Vision quite a while back amd they were wonderful then and then due to changing jobs/insurance it kept me from going back to them. The places I been since then just don't rate to Vail Vision, glad I'm back. Remi was a great help with my frames and Doc got me set up with my computer glasses and distance glasses. Great place!!

My daughter (3 years old) went in for an eye exam. She has had an eye infection and swelling for about about a week. When we first went in my daughter started crying and the kind girls at the front offered her a lollipop and that made her feel better (and me less frustrated). Then we were checked in by one of the doctors assistants and she was very kind and listened to everything we explained. The Dr. was amazing! He didn’t scare my daughter and made us feel very comfortable. We left very happy and pleased with the service we were provided.

Donna, we do have some men in our office, but they move to our other office sometimes and are not always there. Also - yes! There are multifocal lenses. Success rates very from patient to patient, but you are more than welcome to come in and try them!

Quite chaotic---I stood, unnoticed, for several minutes. Then I was placed in a room, technicians swapped a couple times, eyes glued to iPad mini, shifted back and forth a couple times between rooms, etc. Just created a lot of anxiety. Staff seemed stressed.

Jennifer - December is our busiest month. Everyone is trying to get their benefits used before the new year. With that said, there is NEVER an excuse for your experience. Office staff, MD, and the person helping fit my glasses when they arrived were all attentive and helpful. Was hoping the person that helped pick out a style/pair was helpful. She did not offer style choices or recommendations, just wanted to know which glasses I wanted. I didn't even know where to start. She seemed to need to leave, putting on her jacket as she took my credit card. Thankfully I like the glasses, they fit well, and the guy helped fit them to my face very well. Do wonder what my choices could have been.

The contact fee is outrageous! I've been wearing contacts for 15+ years and have never encountered an additional fee for it. The doctor doesn't even need to do anything because he is just refilling the same lens brand/prescription year after year! Haven't changed anything, just an added fee because he can. The front desk should tell you when you schedule an appointment that you have the option of having your eyes dilated or charged $39 for a special scan. It is annoying to find out on the spot when you arrive.

Laura, Your feedback is important to us. Most office schedule the contact lens fitting fees, some just use your contact allowance so you are unaware of the fees. This should have been explained to you. This fee covers any follow up appointments, some patients have several, and all the trial contacts you would need to find the perfect fit. Some patients do not utilize all of the services covered within this cost. In addition, we are working on a better procedure to have staff notify patients of the retinal scan.

The MD I saw did not have good “bedside manner”. Did not introduce himself, ask any personal questions or make any attempt to get to know me beyond lookimb at my eyes! I felt I was just a patient on the list to get through. The tech, however was friendly and warm. I also did not think the shop had a very good selection of glasses, particularly sunglasses, compared to other similar retailers.

I have tried the contacts and bought the readers and my be doing something very wrong...the readers make me sick to my stomach and I cannot find others that work any better....am going to come in....possibly a near far would work for me but though these are very comfortable and great at a distance...if driving a car even looking down at the console....only with contacts, my vision needs to be backed off to read the console...lets recheck...when should I come in....working on and off this week...next week could be better for me....thanks so much 471-1653 doni

In the past, I have never been impressed with Vail Vision as I felt rushed through each visit, they have gotten my glasses prescription wrong, and delayed my shipment of contacts two years in a row. In contrast, in my October 2017 visit, the receptionist I worked with was very helpful and helped me find a good pair of glasses. Dr. James helped me understand my vision and worked with me to find a pair of classes that would work better for me. For the first time, I was glad to go back and not just sticking with Vail Vision because I only go once a year.

I just had cataract surgery and Vail Vision set up the procedure with an excellent doctor in Denver. Communication between offices is excellent and the procedure was successful. The technology used is top of the line and I felt confident about the whole procedure. The surgery center used was also top notch. The staff was caring at all locations. I was in good hands and my recovery is coming along nicely.

In general everything was great. At the time of checkout the receptionist was unable to print itemized receipt. That was fine because she said she would email it to me. I have yet to see it. My flex account administrator often asks for backup documentation. I will also need the receipt to submit my rebate form for the contacts I purchased. Aside from that, awesome service and visit!
