New to Denver and found True Eye Care on google. I loved my eye doctor in Chicago so wanted to find a similar experience. Was happy to have a positive experience with staff and have the same newer equipment in this office.

True Eye Care exceeded my expectations. The staff was very friendly and nice, and Dr. Lohmeyer was just great. He took time to explain my eye health in detail and answered all my questions. I'd highly recommend them!

I really enjoy my visits at True Eye Care. The entire staff, including Dr. Lohmeyer, are so laid back and easy to talk to, but professional and help me with all my questions and concerns. I’ve always felt welcome, never rushed, and after visiting this office for almost 2 years now, it’s the one appointment I don’t dread haha! If you’re looking for an incredible eye doctor and office that will take good care of you and help you keep your eyes healthy, I highly recommend this place and Dr. Lohmeyer.

It's always a pleasure to visit True Eye Care. They are welcoming, professional, and extremely helpful. Dr. Nathan Lohmeyer is a profession, but approachable and friendly. He addressed all of my concerns and made sure I was 100% happy with my contacts and glasses. Norma helped me pick out some glasses and did a fantastic job outlining my benefits and helping me take full advantage of those benefits! Believe it or not, a visit to True Eye Care is something to look forward to!

The most extensive eye exam I’ve ever had!! However, there frame selection is very limited compared to other places. The good thing is that they provide you with your prescription should you choose to have it filled elsewhere. Dr. and entire staff are very friendly and are taking comprehensive safety measures surrounding COVID-19!

I have been going to the same eye doctor since I was in kindergarten. This was the first time seeing someone else, and I was very pleased! Appointment started on time, the staff is super friendly and clear about pricing. Will be coming back for sure.

I would highly recommend! I was in need of seeing a doctor asap, I called and they made time for me to come in the very next day. The visit was very fast and efficient. The staff was very kind and knowledgable. I will definitely book my next eye exam with this practice.

I found Dr. Lohmeyer (optometrist) to be very professional and thorough in doing the initial exam. The staff were friendly and helpful. Kudos to Dr. Lohmeyer for personally delivering the new eyeglasses to our home [their office was closing the next day due to the pandemic, and I couldn't pick them up then as I was scheduled to babysit the grand kids that day). Now that's customer service! Note: FYI, hadn't had an eye exam for a few years & was surprised how expensive the lenses cost; probably just behind the times.

Dr. Lohmeyer took the time to sit down and chat with me through the entire appointment. I never felt rushed or felt like he had to run off to see someone else. Everything was explained throughly and it was the perfect place for my first eye exam.

Dr. Lohmeyer and the front desk staff are extremely friendly, personable, and helpful. He is knowledgeable and answers all of my questions as well as gives good, realistic advice for any eye issues I have. They are seriously the best and I plan to go to them for as long as I live in Denver!

Finally in the search for a competent eye physician I found it. Yeah! Dr. Lohmeyer took the time to fit a more complicated contact prescription. The office is modern, the equipment up to date and clean. Staff was efficient and friendly. I can’t recommend this office enough.

I am new to Denver and finding doctors you like and trust can be intimidating. I was able to get a new patient appointment without a crazy long wait and the staff was incredibly accommodating, patient and kind. Since then, I have been back for a recheck to ensure my new prescription was working for me and a third visit for an eye emergency (which they graciously squeezed me in for). Would highly recommend Dr. Lohmeyer and team when it comes to treating one of your most important senses!

Everyone was very kind and helpful. Dr. Lohmeyer was awesome. Sorry, I didn't catch his name, but the man that helps set you up with the actual glasses was amazing. Super friendly, super helpful. He listened to my needs and likely use-case and helped prescribe the perfect glasses. Also, we had a very nice conversation about dogs and he made some hiking recommendations (it's nice not to feel rushed out the door)! I'm super excited to get my glasses!

Have not had an eye exam in a while but felt comfortable meeting with true eye care and having them explain medical terminology. overall was an excellent visit and they will be my primary eye doctor going forward as well as my first recommendation to others.

Dr. Lohmeyer is very caring, knowledgeable, and proactive. When he moved office locations further from my home location, it was not a question to follow him. He is concerned about eye health (for the long term), not just today’s vision. I love the office staff as well!

Very friendly staff that immediately starts when you walk in! I just walked in and they were able to schedule an apt within that week. Dr. Lohmeyer was very thorough , professional and helpful. They send follow up emails for easier ordering of contacts as well. Great job True Eye Care!

I can see! For the first time in years I have a spot-on prescription that works for both my computer and distance. The whole staff was friendly and helpful and really took the time to make sure I was completely taken care of. I can’t recommend enough!

I had my first visit here, and the front desk employees and Dr. Lohmeyer were all so friendly and thorough. Each one answered all my questions and made the overall experience very pleasant. I had a contacts and comprehensive exam and even tried the optoscan (I think that’s what it was called) and it was really cool to see my whole eyeball and have the Dr. explain my overall eye health. I will definitely recommend this place!

I'm getting older, and it's time for a first pair of glasses in my life. Everyone at True Eye Care was very helpful as I got my new glasses Dr. Lohmeyer performed an efficient, thorough examination. He clearly relayed what he found, and explained the options available for corrective lenses. True Eye Care carries an impressive collection of frames, and Chris was very helpful in ordering, and getting used to progressive lenses.

After reading overwhelmingly positive reviews about this office I was disappointed with my experience. I waited over 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment time to be seen by Dr. Lohmeyer with not so much as an acknowledgment of the delay let alone an explanation or apology. Additionally, I found Dr. Lohmeyer to be condescending.

Dr. Lohmeyer and his staff are knowledgeable, experienced, professional, and friendly. They are always willing to take the extra steps to ensure my complete peace of mind. I always feel I am receiving the best care for my eyes. I recently needed to be seen urgently and Dr. Lohmeyer personally called me to follow-up and he came into the office early to see me. Knowing your doctor cares this much for you is irreplaceable.

Dr. Lohmeyer and staff went ABOVE AND BEYOND in ALL aspects of the care provided. I had an eye exam performed at a different business and was terribly disappointed by the exam, explanation of condition and recommendations. Lucky for me, I found True Eye Care! Upon arrival I was greeted by a warm, friendly face and quickly taken back for my examination. Dr. Lohmeyer completed an extensive exam, created a friendly environment, and took great care to answer every question under the sun that I had. I felt heard, understood, and most importantly - supported. Frame selection was plentiful and I was walked through a proper fitting with recommendations of which frames would work best for my eye condition and sassy personality. My frames were ready to pick up in a very timely manner. Upon picking up my frames I was taught how to use my progressive lenses. The technician I was working with also went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable with the fitting of glasses and even made a few adjustments to ensure proper fit. The technician explained how these lenses differed from my last pair and ensured I felt comfortable with using my glasses. I was encouraged to come in at any time if I need adjustments or had any questions/concerns! I no longer suffer from headaches secondary to my vision. The services provided were absolutely life-changing. I am so thankful I happened to walk by True Eye Care and give them a try. The staff is personable and amazing at what they do. It's great to visit a business where you can tell individuals love their job. 10/10 Recommend

I went to True Eye Care based upon online reviews and location and it was a great decision. Dr Lohmeyer is very personable, thorough and spent about 30 minutes with me. Being in the Heath Care field, I know how difficult it is to spend enough quality time with patients, but Dr Lohmeyer never seemed rushed. His staff was excellent and very friendly. Finally, the office was brand new with state of the art equipment. I would recommend him without reservation.

I have been a patient of Dr. Lohmeyer’s for the past two years, and I wouldn’t even think of going to anyone else. He listens to his patients, and provides sincere one on one care. It’s a nice change of pace from the get em in, get em out philosophy that some other offices have. The entire staff is warm and welcoming.
