I was so fortunate to find Dr. Rudd my vision issues were solved with her advanced technique in determining my uneven plane of sight. I was treated so wonderfully. I walked in and was greeted with a smile and it only took a few minutes before my exam. The exam was so professional. I highly recommend this fabulous office to anyone who may be in need of glasses. I get a tad anxious, but was put at ease through my entire appointment. Landed on some perfect RayBan glasses. The music that was being played was also quite nice. I'll never go to another place for my eye care needs.

Not happy wit the service because I left there with my right eye hurting from the drops that was put in my eye and I can still feel the effects of it and I believe this why I was having trouble seeing out of that eye. I never have that many drops put in and it is finally easily up.

The service was good, and all employees were very friendly. I felt as though they were trying to "upsell" everything they had to sell. Instead of just showing me the frames and lenses that are covered by my insurance, the glasses adjuster went straight to the most expensive lenses - I told her I wanted to get the frames that are within my insurance allowance, and I still had to pay an extra $30-$50 dollars for my frames. I may just get my glasses somewhere else after I have my exam.

While Dr. Rudd is extremely pleasant, she rushed through the appt. I didn't feel I had the opportunity to ask many questions. However, the Optician I worked with to pick out my new glasses, Susan, was sweet, kind and very thorough. We had fun deciding on my frames. She was absolutely the best!

My appointment was at 2:30pm on Jan 03, 2022. Everything went on schedule such as tests and dilating my eyes. Then I was waiting and waiting for the eye doctor. Instead, a technician showed up to tell me that the eye doctor was running late and had to leave for her appointment at 4:00pm. I was rescheduled for Jan 06, 2022, at 1:30pm. My questions are: 1. What is more important to the eye doctor: the care for her patient or her personal matter? 2. Why was my Jan 03, 2022, appointment not rescheduled before I showed up? If I were a schoolgirl, I would not mind so much being sent home and rescheduled, but at age 84 I consider it unacceptable. In the future I will make sure that the eye doctor is available before my eyes are dilated.

The reason I visited was because not only did I needed new glasses, but was also having some weird light flashes in one of my eyes. First, let me say that I did not dislike Dr. Rudd. However, I left the office feeling like she did not actually CARE about my vision, only that I did not spend money on glasses or contacts. After my exam, when I asked if I could get my pupillary distance, I was dismissed with the wave of a hand (literally) as she walked out the door, leaving her assistant (?) to tell me that getting the PD would cost an extra $50 unless I ordered glasses through them (which they priced starting at $650 for my prescription). And that's after paying extra to have additional testing done on my eyes. Dr. Rudd had already told me that if I wanted to wear contacts, they "MUST be special ordered" by her office. And yet, at the end of my exam, she had offered to let me wear a pair of contacts to pick out some frames (until I asked about my PD). The whole experience left me feeling like her office was mostly about making money more than about patient care.

Dr. Rudd and her staff were amazing w/ my daughter during her eye exam. Dr. Rudd is quick to educate. She gave me information about vision and my daughters struggle with reading comprehension, confusion of letters, recognizing same words, avoiding reading/math, and much more that I had no idea about. These were things we were struggling with at home and I thought it was just my daughters lack of understanding. She encouraged us to come back in 6 weeks if we don’t see progress at school. We will be evaluating that time, but I do have to say I already saw improvement in the fluency of her reading once she got her new prescription.

As a new patient, I feel like I was hurried thru there Very VERY quickly!!!!!! The Dr was very nice and took his time but other than that, NOTHING else was explained to me and I left there WITH VERY BLURRED VISION!!!!!!! VERY DANGEROUS!!!! My eyes were dilated, which I have NEVER had done before and they did not even tell me that until I kept complaining that I was having a hard time seeing. Liked having 4 different eye tests before seeing the doctor and him checking my overall vision. The doctor was nice. The two ladies at front desk were less than friendly. The one with long hair was rude when I asked one of them about my wait time she interjected with a dismissing tone "they'll be right with you"" while looking away from us. She didn't turn around to acknowledge us before nor after her response. I believe most would find that type of behavior offensive. I will be going back to my previous eye doctor for next year's appointment. Date/time of this occurrence 9/15/20 2:45pm.

My experience with Today's Vision was good up until I was looking for glasses. I was never given the option to use my old frames, which are perfectly fine. This seems to be the way it goes at any eyeglass shop though. So when I did pick out a frame and it was time to check out the break down of the bill was poor in my option, especially the part that had to do with the contacts I was getting. I left there feeling as though I had been at a used car dealership.

This appointment was life changing!! Really! After months of being told that I am healthy and no one knew what was wrong with me I finally had a Dr who listened. Not only that she took her time and explained everything in detail. She even sent me home with informational packets further explaining everything we talked about. She has a true heart for help others find not only relief but answers. I cried on the way home. It was so wonderful to feel validated. It wasn’t all in my head or anxiety. It was my eyes. To leave with a diagnosis of vertical heterophoria lifted a weight off of me. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Rudd and her staff who where just as nice and caring as Dr. Rudd.

Service was exceptional and no wait time! The staff were kind and efficient and Dr. Rudd was extremely patient, but informative regarding my vision. I experienced a few slight changes with my vision and she explained them very well. The staff were also fun and engaging helping me to choose glasses, frames and lenses!

I have been wearing my Oakley and Varilux X Fit Digital Progressive Lenses with Transition Brown Style Mirrors Red for about a week and they are great. I also have the magnetically attached Chemistrie lenses that I use working at the computer and they are perfect since I spend a lot of time in front of computer screens and this attached lens has removed the stress on my eyes immensely. At this point, having gone through an extensive examination and agreeing to the digital eye exam rather than the dialation test, at a substantial additional cost, because of the fact that l had to go to work imminently after my examination, I feel I may have, at some point, been taken advantage of. I am extremely disappointed in the time it has taken to receive my prescribed contact lenses. Especially after what it has cost out of pocket. I don't understand what difference it makes what my last measurements and prescription was when I pay so much money for new eye measurements and evaluation from a new Clinic. That's to say, it should not matter what my previous prescription was, especially when I received my new lenses and could barely see anything out of my right eye. I'm hoping this review is not too offensive to the clinic, BUT, I am extremely disappointed that so much information is dependent on previous exams instead of the so called technology I feel I am paying for! Am I paying for your technology or someone else's???

I originally scheduled an appointment with Dr. Rudd's office to check out Ortho-K contacts to correct my vision only to discover after thorough testing they won't correct my problems :( However, Dr. RUDD made a couple of other (less expensive) options available!! She can also test for the reason for my dry eyes and, with the new technology available now, may be able to cure the problem rather than just treat the symptoms!! And that alone may resolve some of my vision problems!

Dr. Rudd is the greatest! I am a unique patient who had congenital cataracs with surgery at age 3 long before contact lenses or implants were heard of. In addition, Dr. Rudd has determined that I have Keratoconus Either of these eye conditions would make my case challenging, but with the two combined, my case is very complex. The care, patience and treatment Dr. Rudd has demonstrated is excellent. And - my vision has greatly improved as a result!
