I'm 72 years old and have worn glasses since I was 21 - during Boot Camp, one of the drill sergeants noticed I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn on the firing range so he sent me back to the optometrist to be examined for glasses. Up till then, I had no idea I had poor vision. I've had lots of eye exams in my life and this one was the most complete, thorough and informative. It was made better by the amount of high-tech equipment that was used as part of the process by both the assistant and the optometrist. My VA status entitles me to one exam a year, and I've already scheduled the one for 2022. Highly and strongly recommended.

I was able to schedule an appointment the next day first of all. In New Mexico this is unheard of, usually you must wait weeks or months to see a specialist. The staff was nice and knowledgeable, they were sensitive to my particular needs, and made sure I knew exactly what was going on at every step of the process. I've not had a healthcare experience like this in New Mexico, perhaps even before coming here. This place has earned my business in the future too.

I have always appreciated the services provided at the Vision Store for my annual as well as emergency needs during allergy seasons. If something develops, Amanda always gets me in the same day I called with an emergent need. This service is invaluable given how difficult it is to see anyone in the medical field the same day you have identified a need. Optometrists can address these needs efficiently and effectively, therefore, they are on the front lines of service delivery for my eye care.

If you want to wait for 45+ minutes after your appt time to be seen, this is the place for you. I heard others complain about the wait time, too. Last appt in 2018 I waited 30 min and didn't think it was that awful and maybe just a hickup. Nope. Business as usual, evidently. I'd rather visit a place that values my time. Quality medical facilities say 10 minutes waiting is too long, but you'll notice there's not even a place to give feedback on the appt wait times. Hmmmmmm....

Our whole family of ten that range from adults, young adults and kids now see Dr. D.M. Causus and her staff. Dr. Causus and her staff are so friendly (love how they are with our children) and easy to talk to it's like being amongst family and they are so knowledgeable and proficient in their trade!! We would definitely refer and recommend them to our friends and family without a doubt and don't forget Cocoa their mascot of the office we love her so much!!!😁♥️

Dr Casaus is so professional and competent. She keeps up with the latest eye technology and equipment and studies for her CMEs to bring the best of eye health to her patients. I fly from out of state to keep Dr Casaus as my preferred Optometrist. I have been her patient since 2009. A value added benefit is her compassionate and kind nature. She explains her results and teaches me what I might not understand. She is the best.

I liked their service. They were willing to perform an additional eye test for me last minute although it was closing time. I know it is all business, but they could have asked me to come on a different day than stretching their schedule. That showed they valued their customer service. My only issue with The Vsion Store is i. Regards to the amount of time that is spent waiting. I had an 8:15 appt and arrrived 10 minutes early to complete the paperwork. Didn’t get called back to begin th exam until 8:35. I then completed the initial exam and waited another 15 minutes for the optometrist to see me. After the exam, i then waited another 10 minutes for the optician to visit with me. Was taken back to the exam room again and waited another 10 minutes for the optometrist to see me one last time. The whole appt took almost 2 and a half hours. I do appreciate the friendly staff and they do provide great care but having to take off 3 hours from work for a routine eye exam was hard to swallow. The long waits between the different stations became frustrating.
