It is a very rare thing these days to find a business practice with the high integrity, incredible customer/patient service and quality of treatment that you will experience with the Silverstrom Group. I always felt that your relationship with a dentist is one of tremendous trust because they are often providing a service that is invisible to the patient. I can say with assurance that Dr Gary and his staff always explain what they are doing, and why, and have always stood behind whatever work needs to be done. The office is spotless and pleasant, and the staff is kind and well trained. I have recommended them to many of my friends and clients without hesitation.

Dr. Silverstrom and his office are always exceptional and accommodating. I had to come in for tooth pain during COVID and he made it happen of course following guidelines. As you know tooth pain doesn't just go away. Awesome experience.

I have been using thé silverstrom now for over 3 years for all my dental works and its been delightful to know this Practise. This is one of the only medical offices where I havé noticed for over the years that appointements are also met on time and I have never in my numerous visits been delayed ever for any scheduled procedure. Thé Dentists in this Office are top of the notch in their different areas of specialty and the care provided in this dental Office is next to no other. My dental hygienist is Melissa. As always she inquired how I had been and did a thorough inspection of my teeth. I told her I continued to have trouble with a tooth that had been previously filled although I also told her I did not want to see the dentist on this visit. She cleaned my teeth and then applied a coating to the tooth in question. Since my appointment I haven't been bothered by that tooth. As you can imagine, I think she is great!

The doctors and staff are always so caring and concerned. It is easy to reach a human on the phone. Great hygienists, and can watch Netflix while they work on you. The office is clean with a pleasant atmosphere. It even smells good when you walk in. Most important of all, Dr. David and Dr. Gary are great dentists. My mother, my husband and my young adult daughters all use the practice - even the one who has lived in California for 3 years!

Natalia did an excellent job as a hygienist. I have been a patient for many years and am pleased with the quality of the dental work, but not with the way the desk is handling appointments. They are very pleasant BUT after my hygienist (who I went to for years) left the practice, they just booked me with someone, without so much as a courtesy call. The only reason I found out was I got a phone call saying my appointment was cancelled with my “professional hygienist”. I don’t think someone should have just been just a assigned to me. I felt handled. Then I scheduled the appointment with Natalia at 5:00 and found out after I arrived that neither Drs. David or Gary (my regular dentists) were there at that time to give me the exam. In the past, I was told that when I was making the appointment if they were unavailable! I come to this practice to see a particular dentist or hygienist and have that expectation . I am not interested in a clinic. What’s even more disheartening is that I expressed my disappointment twice and heard nothing back. I think the world of David and Gary, but when I make my next appointment I do expect to see one of them. Or at the very least a courtesy call if they are unavailable and I will reschedule.

I've had MANY positive experiences going to the Silverstrom Group over the years, but yesterday's visit was easily the best. Who would've thought a two and a half hour procedure for crowns would be completely pain-free? AND I was able to watch my favorite shows on Netflix the whole time? I honestly felt like I was getting away with something! Dr. Gary and everyone associated with the Silverstrom Group need to be recategorized; they're not dentists - they're magicians!

I know your practice is incredibly good on all fronts. My issue is that as a retired teacher, also a single parent of a neurologically impaired child your prices are daunting. I have a friend who just last week paid $2000 for two crowns. His dentist is a good one and he has been his patient for the last eight years. I was just quoted $1682 for a single crown and told I need additional work on various parts of my mouth. Do I think you would do excellent work? NO DOUBT. Do I think I can afford the thousands of dollars of work ahead of me? Serious doubt. Would I recommend your practice? To my wealthy friends, of course I would. To those of us who have to think twice about large expenses, not so much. I was actually going to ask you to recommend someone that would be good, and more appropriate for me to start on a long regime of dental care. Thank you, Libby Heller

Regarding appointment scheduling, my most recent, which I did discuss with Dr. David, was a an approximate 6 week wait just to have my new occlusal appliance final fit . When I inquired as to why the wait, was advised that Dr David had NOTHING until that date. I found that a ridiculous statement. I was not sleeping because my old appliance didn't fit my new veneers and had to be discarded.Additionally I didn't want to harm my mouth due to the lack of the appliance, which I have been advised, is extremely important to protect my implants. I have been a patient over 25 years, have a gorgeous restored mouth and expect better treatment than that.

I have always been very nervous at the thought of going to the dentist, for anything. I have never had such a wonderful experience as I have had at Silverstrom Group. Melissa is just the best. I never feel a thing while she works on me. As a matter of fact, it is a very relaxing experience! Both Dr. Silverstroms are very friendly and put me instantly at ease. I have complete confidence in both of them!

Since migrating to the US, I have been going to my husband's dentist for the past 3 years but each teeth cleaning I have had had always ended up with my gums being all bloody and it was always an overall unpleasant experience. Dentist doesn't talk as much and doesn't tell me what's going on in my teeth and gums with all the poking she does in my mouth. I googled and found The Silverstrom Group and have reached out last December to schedule an appointment as I needed a tooth filling done. Initially, my husband hesitated when he found out that we won't be able to book an appointment til February. So he went to a different dentist in West Orange... but I decided to stick to my schedule and went to see Dr. Gary Silverstrom, and it was worth the wait! But good thing I wasn't in pain because it was definitely a long wait, more than a month! The office and technology they use are awesome, the assistants were very nice and accommodating. Love that one of Dr. Gary's assistants is a Filipina too. Dr. Gary Silverstrom is on-point about everything. He is so intelligent, quick with his medical observations, upfront and never hesitated with explaining everything to me. He asked me about any questions I might have and answered them very well. I haven't done any procedures yet, but so far so good!
