My 3 children ask to go to the dentist, it's an enjoyable experience for them. So different from the atmosphere of fear when I was young. This will encourage them to continue caring for their teeth into adulthood. They have had about 10 checkups and two have had some crowns.

I don't recall the name of the dental assistant assigned to us, but she was very friendly to both my daughter and I, offered explanations for every step of the process, and was professional. She also ensured I had no questions at the end of my visit. As usual, I was very pleased with my visit at the Dental Ark. It is the only place I will take my daughter for her dental needs.

The woman whom I assume is the receptionist wasn't too friendly and was fixing her makeup when I walked in. I didn't understand what I had to do when I was signing in and she called me up she sarcastically giggled and told me I had to re-do it.Other than that our visit was great as always.

The wait is usually pretty good. The downside however is that there are several dentists so your child can see a different dentist in every visit and give you different opinions on treatent, which is what happened with my daughter. One dentist scheduled her for treatment/procedure with another dentist and the day of her appointment the other dentist didn't feel she needef the procedure done yet. Unfortunately I won't be going back.

This visit was probably my last one I take my kids to, we have been coming here for years and we have to wait over 30 minutes or more for our appointments. I had to complain not once but twice. Very unprofessional and will not be going back there again.

EVERY SINGLE TIME that I or my husband take my daughter to the Dental Ark we.are greeted and treated very well from when we walk in to seeing the dentist and when we leavel. The dental hygienist was too hard on the teeth cleaning, they were busy talking to each other instead of focusing on the cleaning. It was very painful and uncomfortable for Patricia. She will not be coming back.

I arrived at 2:10 for a 2:30 appointment and the kids were not taken back until 3:30. The appointment should have been set more appropriately not having us wait 1 1/2 hours that's unacceptable. Not sure if we will return for this reason. I dont have that much time to waste.

My Daughter was taken back and I was told to sit in this room and wait. Wait for them to call me back as they always have done in the past they brought my daughter and said she was done. Out of all the yrs I have gone I have always went to the back with my child . In this case I'm not sure what happened and nothing said they had changed the rules . Not sure if my daughter will continue to go here .

Dr. Lin was great ! She really took her time with my son and to explain my situation. I was skeptical of returning to the Dental ARK, but with Dr. Lin's visit. I was convinced it's OK. This visit was much more comfortable than the last few. It is too bad, that the Dr.'s change every visit and we can't see the same Dr. It's hard to appreciate one and the next visit you have to see a different one.

Even though Dental Ark is not opened Saturday's like all these pediatric dental offices. Dentist/Doctor Maldonado was highly recommend, so I put my trust in the Dental Ark.

I LOVE the speed of service! My daughter and I are always done with our appt in less than an hour, sometimes even within a half hour! The staff is very friendly too! The only addition I would make would be for the provision of activities for children while in the waiting room. Even something as simple as coloring pages and crayons. Anything to assist in keeping children occupied while waiting. Otherwise, very happy with the service here.

I've been with this dental practice for several years and I love the service. It was my first time in the parent room waiting area and it was great. It was quiet and comfortable. The coffee was also a great accommodation. Everyone is always so friendly and kind and treat the children with respect.

My son was forgotten, we were there 40 mins early and it wasnt until 2 hours later that i got up and asked and the receptionist said oh they were supposed to call him already. this was like the third time we forgotten. not going back, looking for new dentist.

The dental hygienist (forgot her name) was extremely gentle and friendly to my daughter who was very nervous about her visit. She was very patient and took the time to explain procedure/ tools to her and that was very important to me. Thanks to her, I am confident my daughter will not fear the dentist any more.

The ongoing process you have to update personal information is annoying. Also, I have in the past been invited to sit in your "parents only" waiting room. I have noticed that your staff no longer mentions that, but the sign is still on the door when I go in to pay.

I strongly believe that if major treatment will be conducted on children, parents should be allowed in the room. My daughter was alone in the room and was not able to get her treatment due to the fact that she was scared and to make it worst she did not see me there.

The hygienists got really rude when my daughter refused to corporate. Even after I explained her disability and that she takes medication they continued to treat her very badly.

I wasn't comfortable with the doctor taking care of another patient before my my daughter and I. We waited for a very long time for her to finish a family of five and then right after for her to skip us to assist a crying toddler upset me because we were there first. We all have appointments for a reason. I will not be returning.

We waited past our appointment time. The dentist said nothing about fillings or crowns. The the tech briefed us after. I called asked for the dentist to call me and brief me up. Stull have yet to receive a call.

My child was extremely nervous about having treatment done, which caused her to be uncooperative and the only approach the tech and dentist used on her was a firm voice approach, which only escalated the situation, causing my child to be even more scared during the whole ordeal. They could've tried a soft approach to calm her down, or maybe even called me before it was too late, but they didn't try any of the above. When the tech finally brought me in it turned into more of a taddle session on my child instead of a status report on my child's health/current condition. After about 5 mins of hearing the woman taddle on my child I asked if I could see her, and she finally let me back to observe her. She was hysterical and scared and I can't believe they let her get so desperate. I wish they would've called me sooner before the dentist decided she was too hard to work on. I believe I could've calmed my child down so the scheduled procedure could've been completed.

Toys and more TV options in front waiting room would have made the 1 hour wait less miserable. Three TVs with the same tween Disney show was a mismatch for most of the ages of kids in the waiting room. And overall I felt like my children and I were being processed through a well-decorated factory.

Just the dental hygienist stated that it was abuse not to brush or floss the teeth twice a day with 2 special needs children we are lucky to get them to brush. Daily. She did apologize but I think maybe she should be a little more careful with her choice of words with special need children and their families

The receptionist was very understanding when I had to return to have my sons teeth cleaned after receiving two crowns and saw that cement was still left on his other teeth. I would like for staff to review status of children's procedure before releasing them. So that this can be avoided in the future.

All your staff has always been understanding & compassionate.One suggestion-not to have to confirm same information every visit especially if it is within the samey year. Have a separate waiting area for those with appt for treatments. I know there is one for parents only but for those of us, like in my case I had my other daughter, with family. With an area maybe to read or watch TV. I was there from 9:30 until 2:15. Very long wait. Also to give parents an update if taking longer than usual such as in our case. My daughters pressure was taking longer to rise and I didn't find out until I asked what was taking so long. I would've like to have been informed without having to ask. Thank you :)

This past visit was very unpleasant.my kids appointment was at 11:00.I got there at 10:45.I didnt end up leaving until 1:45.a three hour visit for a 30min treatment was just ridiculous! I believe appointments are scheduled at a specific time for reason. Other patients got there after me and left way before me.I cant say I was pleased at all!

Waiting a hour and a half with an ansy 2 year old isn't ideal. I understand that it's still summer time in everyone's getting the kids in before back to school but I think scheduling I needed to work done this past visit. The hygienist was awesome my son loves her she was quick and helpful and very nice. The only other delay we had was the computer in the x-ray room not working wasn't anyone's fault but it added to the wait time

Amanda was very helpful and friendly when I asked how much longer the wait would be. My wait for my two boy's teeth cleaning was way too long. My appointment was at 12:30 and I didn't leave your office until 3:00. This was somewhat frustrating. I know that your policy is not to allow parents in the dental area and I can respect that but I would like to be taken back once and a while to consult with the dentist. My son's have been going to the Dental Ark for about 3-4 years and I have yet to meet any of your dentists. Overall, my boys are very comfortable with your facility and your employees are always friendly and courteous.

Our appointment was scheduled for 9am on a Monday, we were not seen until after 10:23 and only because i complained to the receptionist. After that the actual time with the dental providers was really fast, its just you need to work on realistic expected wait times when scheduling your appointments. And, honestly say that you are running late..

I got my daughter the Ortho at Dental Ark and I so much regret it. The appliance she received cost me $500 down and it was useless. It was lose to start with had to go back and it was still the same lose. Now I am out of $500 and now the freaking Dr ortho decides she has to wait. BS!!! never will I go back and or refer anyone!!!!!

We have always been quite pleased with our experiences at Dental Ark. However, it seems that the wait times have been slowly increasing and our visit this week ended up taking considerably longer than we expected. We had an appointment at 8AM and were not finished until around 9:45 for a simple checkup with x-rays and cleaning.

The experience was very different from the other times. The dental assistant was kinda rude by making it weird that my 3 yr old was scared and crying. Comforting my son she asked if he was my only one and I said yes. She then said oh no wonder. I think that was rude. I didn't like other comments she made. The dentist was great though and said it's ok he's scared. I almost got billed $13 but said I paid over the phone because when I mailed it, it was never received. I hope my experience is better next time. I felt a little upset that the dental assistant doesn't understand that my 3 yr old is just a young person who gets scared. I guess being an elementary teacher I have more patience with children and their needs.

1. Every time I bring my daughter for a checkup the check-in process is different. Would be nice to have some stability. 2. We arrived 15 mins early, as instructed, to fill out paperwork. We were not called in until 45 mins past our appt time. As a result, we were waiting for over an hour. My 5-year-old was in a great mood to see the dentist when we arrived; after an hour wait...not so much. She is learning to tell time and wanted to know why her name hadnt been called at the proper time. We spent more time waiting than the whole of the appt. I don't see how that is acceptable.

Overall i was happy with our visit however, nothing against the dentist we saw, but informed the lady that made my appointment that we only want to see one dentist that was DR. Baker. I was informed that it even states that in my son's chart. Plus we rescheduled his appointment because Dr baker was out of town on his original appointment date. So we rescheduled to see another dr? No, I am very displeased about this, again nothing against the dr we saw only that she is not the dr i chose.

The employee sitting at the front desk (did not have a chance to get her name but she is the first person you see when you walk through the door) is always very nice and helpful. We had a pleasant experience with my daughter (she is a special needs child) and will continue to go back. I will highly recommend the services of the Dental Ark to other mothers of special needs children that I come in contact with either through meeting them at my daughter's school or at other gatherings such as at Gigi's Playhouse. The staff at the Dental Ark are very nice and thorough and patient.

While trying to checkout the two women at the computers; only one was actually working(the blonde one). The Brunette on the left was gossiping with some other lady with glasses and green scrubs while I sat and waited. Amazing the total disregard of our presence (my daughter and myself). Not even a "she will be right with you ma'am, this window is already closed"..... something. Other than that I would like to be asked with Dr. I am looking to see. I picked the dental ark for a specific doctor I didn't realize they had others.

Staff friendly and courteous. Kids overjoyed with toys given to them after exam and cleaning. My two boys chose a lion and tiger masks. My young daughter chose a ring and other daughter chose a flippng/popping gadget. I like the smooth process of signing-in with computers without worry of verbalizing sensitive and personal information to staff with people nearby to overhear. You can't be too careful with identity theft. My four kids were escorted back to play area for service by staff member, while I waited in front waiting area relaxing and watching t.v. Then, after my kids cleaning and exam, they were escorted back. The employee explained to me their dental exam outcomes and then was taken to staff member to reschedule 6 month appointment. She patiently helped me choose a date that was convenient for me. Overall, quick and easy. Happy mom and Happy kids!

The dentist assistant we got was rough on my daughter my daughter is 2 and she was not afraid of dentist until last visit we had. My daughter understand and will do what I ask her to politely but when it was time for her cleaning the aid forced her head down n fired gee mouth shut to see her teeth with mouth closed. I did not like that one bit. I understand it needs to be done but age wild of done it just by me asking her to. I did not like she forced her right away after she asked her to close her mouth. They only trust certain people and when a stranger ask something they won't do it. Unless their parents ask them and they know it's ok for them to do it. A dentist visit for a kid isn't pleasant as it is and for her to have done that well now she will be scared of the dentist thanks to her. All they have to do is ask parents to tel their children what they need to do. Not force them and if so ask their parents if it's ok and explain ejy it's necessary.

There was a male receptionist who was kind and told me about the parent waiting where I could get coffee and tea. Not once in the years I been going there have ever been told about this. It would be nice to let parents know. I know kids are not allowed back there but let them know in advance. There nothing for the kids to do in the waiting room you had video games now that out. My kids have been asking to go to another Dentist where have games thing they can enjoy while waiting for there appointment. On this day my appoint was on time but other times we are there more than an hour waiting. As for parents not being able to go back there is ridiculous. The reason am still there is because changing everything is such hassle and starting al over again. You should have a section for procedure to be done where parents are able to go with their child and the other section for only checkups. Its big enough to do this.

The dentist did not address my son's dental needs with me. She did a 5min check up with him the dentist spoke to the dental hygienist then left without discussing anything with myself (the parent). During the review the hygienist summarized my son's dental needs and did not leave any options for questions or discussion. I felt like the extreme follow up was recommended without choices being presented. Because of this I will be seeking a second opinion and my be switching dentist office. I was greatly disappointed with the communication.

Overall, the staff was courteous and professional. The environment was calm and clean. During and after my son's procedure your staff took great care to make sure he was comfortable and calm. The only downside, in which I did understand, due to the fact he needed to be sedated, was my son's appointment was scheduled for 1:30, and we were not called until 5. Overall I would highly recommend Dental Ark.

Wait time was too long. The lady that took us to the back ignored our daughter. She did not greet us. And my daughter tried telling her hello but was not very welcoming or assuring to a 5 year old. I did not owe anything and got charged anyway. You people really need to call my insurance and ask questions. Don't be so lazy. I had questions about my daughters baby teeth and felt rushed out. Staff was really nice and explained everything really well. Treatment was excellent. The only bad thing is I had my appointment at 11 and my son went in an hour later. I think it is reasonable to wait about 15 minutes after your appointment was set, but an hour? That was the only bad experience I had there.

First off i had to wait almost an hour in the waiting room over my appointment time. The hygienist I had was extremely rude and condescending. Just because I am a man doesnt mean I dont take care of my daughter properly. I felt she was very sexist and was not pleased with her at all. However my daughters dentist was fantastic!!!!!!!! The young lady at the entrance was very friendly and welcomed us for the first time. Everyone was pleasant but the process needs to be better explained for first timers. Then they take your children and drop them off in a play room and take you else where and that did not make me very comfortable. I also was not impressed with all the cavities and work Dr. Chavez recommended when 6 months ago Dr. Stevenson personally saw my girls and did not recommend anything other than to watch a 2 possible cavities on Alexsandra Pimentel, my oldest. The price is outrageous and now I understand why your business is so huge and booming. The visit took 2.5 hours which is too long and in the end I felt like it was just a business wanting to charge me way too much money and left me very disappointed.

I did not appreciate that on our way out, after mentioning that we do not use a pacifer at all with our son, was told we MUST start using a pacifier. My son does not use one nor suck on his thumb so we did not like at all that she insisted that we use it. I would mention her name but to be honest we were not told what her name was nor saw a name tag. Other than that we truly love this dentist.

As soon as we walked into the door we were greated and assisted. The electronic paperwork process makes it much easier. The staff is very friendly, cheerful and caring for their patients. They took the time to develop a trusting relationship with my daughter that led to her having a great experience. It's very important for children at a young age to have a great experience with the dentist so that they will continue in the future with regular visits as adults, proper cleaning and hygiene. We look forward to our next visit and hope each visit goes as well as this last one.

This is he 2nd time visiting the dental ark. I'm left just as disappointed as I did the first time. I had to wait almost 40 minutes past my sons appointment time both times. I expect to wait 10-15 minutes but not 40. Only after I told the receptionist that I was canceling my sons appointment and we were leaving did they seem to move with a purpose. After the dental assistant brought us back, we waited another 15 minutes after he was done with his portion. We will not be coming back. The staff were very friendly and helpful despite the wait time. I believe they book too many clients at the same time.

The lady who helped us upfront gave us the best treatment, we had problems with insurance questions and she called the insurance and got it all cleared up. The dentist too was very knowledgeable, my son has been suffering from a few things and with his help, we know exactly what to ask his pediatrician.

It was my first time visit. I waited for 6 hrs for my daughter to have 2 crowns put in. I was not told that I had to wait hrs for my daughter to be seen. I understand that there are many patients and some take longer than expected but 6 hrs is ridiculous.

The wait time was extremely long my appointment was at 11:30 and we got out until 1:45. My financial options were never explained even after I asked the day I confirmed my appointment. The day of service they told me that they had called me to let me know about my financial options, but I never received a call. Aside from this the staff is courteous and attentive.

My appointment was at 1:00. I showed up at 12:50 and my kids didn't get called back until 1:30 so we waited 40 mins in the waiting room. Then I sat and waited 1 hr. Finally I was getting a little upset so I went to check on my kids. At that time I was able to go to the back when the Dentist examined them. I know there were a lot of people but I don't think it should take almost 2 hours. Also to fill out the forms on the computers, I liked it better the way it used to be because it was a more one on one with the receptionist. And if I had any questions they are there. Thank you

The only thing was the glass desk that you have an emplyee sitting in outside in the lobby is dangerous my 2 year old almost hurt herself on the corner of the glass desk, you should have a wooden desk it may be safer for smaller children.
