I can't believe that they got me in and out in less than 35 minutes and I had a contact lens exam as well as had my pupils dilated. I used to plan at least 90 minutes moving from room to room at my previous eye doctor's office. Also, everyone is so friendly and caring.

I felt listened to and cared about; I was given information and time to consider my options, no pushy sales junk. I believe the Dr. Watkins has my best interest at heart. I would tell anyone who asks to utilize this facility and Dr. Watkins directly. Besides the doctor, all office personnel with whom I interacted were professional and very kind. The affect they left me with was that they saw me as a person not a dollar sign. They treated myself and my son as if we were people they knew and liked.

I was slightly overcharged at checkout. I found that out when I called back after my appointment and comparing charges with my husband, who had an appointment the same day. I know there is a new employee so I understand a learning curve, but hopefully Billings are being reviewed during the training to ensure accuracy. Quick and professional setting. Friendly and helpful staff. They didn't give me my PD for my prescription when I was there, but I just went back in and they were happy to give it to me at no cost. If it is your first time and you need glasses, make sure you stop by the eye glass sales side to get your PD measured so you don't need to make a second trip.

Temps Eyecare Associates is the place to go for excellent eye care. The exams are thorough with great attention to detail. Everything that is done is explained in terms that are easy for the patient to understand. If no new prescription is needed, that is what a patient is told. This is not one of those 'let's make an extra buck by selling something unnecessary' places. I would recommend Dr. Chrisagis and his staff to anyone without reservations!

I always feel like I'm in good hands when I come to Tempe Eyecare. Dr. John is always friendly, professional, and must actually read my chart before he starts the exam. He's helped me identify issues and made the process easy. The front office staff is always courteous and greet you like they really are happy you're there instead of repeating rote greetings. This was my second time at your office. The first time I saw the older doctor and loved the interaction and kindness about this man. I liked this office and went back a second time to have a stuck contact taken out. The eye doctor was a younger doctor. I didn't like his attitude. He talked down to me and was a little rude. The other thing that I didn't like which had nothing to do with the doctor was I just charged the full price of $45.00 when he found there was no contact in my eye. I felt like the out of picket fee should have been reduced. I will find another office to go to if I need a eye doctor

Dr. Chrisagis has been my for eye care physician for 25+ years and I couldn't have a more favorable opinion of him and his practice. He is professional, friendly, efficient, stays current on research, and takes time to answer questions and educate his patients on every visit. Last year he noticed a large patch of blood on my retina during an exam and immediately sent me to a retina specialist. Unbeknownst to me, I had hemorrhaged; Dr. Chrisagis' quick action most likely saved the vision in my left eye. He also runs a very efficient, customer-oriented front office and employs a highly-trained medical staff.

I wanted to use the vision insurance, Davis Insurance, that BCBS provides. Boy, was that a mistake!! In one or two months I went back there four times. And with that, I still didn’t take care of my needs! I went ahead and bought VSP, individual insurance. When you're my age there's a strong tendency to simply believe and do anything your medical professionals prescribe. I wouldn't not have questioned Dr. Chrisagis ordering me new glasses. But when you have integrity, you say things like, "I could order you new glasses, but your problem is not vision change - here's what you should do instead..." What a great doctor and all around wonderful experience from the moment I came through the door. A level of professionalism not often seen these days beginning with the front desk. I have been seeing Dr Chrisagais for about 20 years. I started seeing him when I was working in Tempe. I Iive in the NW valley so it is a trip to go to Tempe to see the doctor. But it is well worth the trip I have tried other doctors on my side of town but always seemed to have issues with my glasses so it is well worth the drive once a year just to have peace of mind, not to mention being able to get glasses that are correct. Highly recommend Tempe Eye Care the doctors and staff are always prompt and professional.

I woke up with my eyes swollen shut so I called TEA and they were able to work me in within 2.5 hours. I saw Dr Watkins and he was very thorough and told me that it was an allergic reaction. He prescribed a medication and some eye drops and now, 24 hours later my eyes are so much better! I’ve always had terrific service from the staff at TEA. Can’t thank them enough for seeing me so quickly!

I have seen many optometrists in my lifetime, but Tempe Eyecare is a standout. Dr. Chrisagis is the best. He is very thorough, he answers all your questions and explains things so that you can understand it, and I often learn something I didn't know about my eyes or about vision in general. There is never any pressure to buy anything. On the contrary, if there is a choice, he might tell you you don't need it. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

I chose Tempe Eyecare for a second opinion. Boy, am I glad. So impressed with the experience from the receptionist through choosing new frames. Dr. Chrisagis was warm, professional, and explained everything in a way that it was easily understood and he took time to listen to all my questions. They have a choice of a high tech "picture of the eye" procedure (which I chose) or standard dilation. I ended up choosing to order new lenses and frames. The gentleman who helped me choose the frames was patient, helpful, and friendly...no pressure during the entire visit. Each person I had contact with was welcoming and it was a great experience! Even though I have no vision insurance...it was well worth the expense.

Everyone is very friendly and efficient. They do not overschedule patients, even before COVID, so they are always running on time and you never wait long for anything. The office and patients rooms are always spotlessly clean. It is convenient to have the eyeglass store in the office so you can get your glasses right away. You will end up paying more for the frames, at least, but the staff is knowledgeable and you have the new glasses in a week or so. I started going to this office when I lived nearby. Although I have moved a ways away, I still go there because I enjoy it.
