I was greeted immediately. Dr. Elizabeth was wonderful and thorough, as usual, and discussed options. I needed my glasses adjusted and Pam just happened to have stopped by that day and did that for me. Everyone I have ever had help me at Suburban Opticians over many years has been caring and personable, whether it's a simple glasses adjustment, choosing new frames from their wide selection, getting an exam, or making sure my tricky prism correction is right.

The staff assisted me with helping get new glasses for my elderly mother. Mom lives local and I am in Minneapolis. They were great in making notes in moms records about hearing loss and dementia issues which can make communication a challenge for my mom. I have had the pleasure of Dr. Chous taking care of my vision for almost 20 years. My endocrinologist sent me there because of my adult onset autoimmune diabetes. With his help, as I have gotten older, my vision has improved. I wore prescription glasses all the time from the time I was in 1st grade. After treating with Dr. Chous for about 5 years, my vision started improving. When I went to renew my driver's license on my 50th birthday, I passed that eye test (20/40) without my glasses! Twelve years later, my vision is 20/30 in both eyes and my astigmatism (which was severe) is almost gone! I credit these drastic improvements to following Dr. Chous' advise and recommendations. Dr. Chous is a world renowned expert on diabetes and eye care. He takes the time and trouble to run all of the necessary tests and give me invaluable advise and counsel. He and his wife are the BEST! I am a personal injury attorney, I send all of my clients with vision problems to the Doctors Chous!

Fabulous customer service. My work schedule is highly unpredictable, but I was able to book a same-day appointment due to another customer's cancellation. The optometrist was very helpful, answered all my questions, and taught me a bit about eye health and eyeglass technology. I had fantastic service in the frame shop as well, getting help finding and fitting the exact frames I wanted. Paid in full, picked my glasses up a few days later. Couldn't go any smoother! I love my appointments with Dr Paul Chous. I feel like I've attended a full lecture on eye health from someone with superb knowledge and a very balanced perspective. And I have an in-depth understanding of my own eye status and how to manage it for a "seeable" future.

I didn't enjoy waiting a half hour, but Dr. Chous is more thorough than any optometrist or opthamologist I have ever seen before, and I trust him completely.

I wouldn't go any where else for my eye care needs! Suburban is simply the very best! Everyone is like family. I've flown up from Arizona for over 5 years now as I just do not trust any other places with my eyes!! Thanks everyone, it's always wonderful seeing you!

I really recommend you guys if you need glasses come to Suburban Optical. They are really nice. They really help. I missed my appoinment, yet they still allow me to see the doctor without waiting. They even gave me temporary lens because I have to recheck the prescription because something wrong with my eyes. My eyes was sick because of contac lens. I git 50% discount of frame. They are really neat, tidy, nice, and help.
