Dr. Albrecht is always so pleasant to see. My son and I actually look forward to seeing him...and you can't say that about too many doctors. He treats you like a person and not just a patient. The staff is kind and patient and very helpful. When someone asks me what eye doctor they should see, I always refer them his way.

My first visiting with Dr. Albrecht was amazing. He spent a lot of time answering my questions. He did not seem hurried or impatient. I believe this was the most thorough visit I've ever had with an eye doctor. I am completely impressed.

The office called me the day before my appointment to explain that I wasn't quite due for my annua eye exam and that my insurance likely would not pay for this visit. Due to a medical condition and medicine I'm taking, I chose to be seen early and to pay for my visit out of pocket. I knew this would be the case, but I appreciated the effort they took to make sure I was aware of those facts before my visit. Dr. Pace was very thorough and understanding. It was the first time I had seen him for my care, and I was impressed. I felt great about my visit and his explanation and direction for my care moving forward. Thank you!

They wait was minimal. Dr Higbee was very professional and helped me when another optometrist in town said there was nothing that can help my problems. He listened and took them time to really help and made sure I knew what was happening.

We have been visiting Dr. Albrecht since he started practicing in Cedar. He's seriously the best eye doctor around! Everyone in our little family of four is blind so every year we get to pay the good doctor a visit. He makes a visit to the doctor enjoyable and relatively painless. (except that bright light that cuts into your soul).

When I arrived, the receptionist had all my information for the visit and welcomed any new info I had for her. Next, Heather efficiently screened my eyes for glaucoma. I waited just a few minutes when Dr. Pace came in. He was thoughtful, patient, thorough, and asked what else he could do for me. I felt like he really listened, and he did answer all my questions. Next was Jade, who was delightful in helping me pick out my next pair of glasses. I really enjoyed her a lot .The whole experience was very positive. I'm glad they see me because they take good care of me.

Overall it was a good experience. Seemed like the doctor couldn’t exactly get to the bottom of what was going on. And I was disappointed when he told me that I would have to wait like 2 more weeks to see if my eyes continue to tear up constantly throughout the day hoping it would improve. It is very annoying having to deal with me patting my eye every few minutes to clear my tears away. I just want to ultimately take care of this bothersome issue asap. Thanks!!

My office experience left me feeling like a number versus a person. I provided my insurance information prior to the appointment and the technicians could not provide my coverage details and focused on selling me features. I had to come back to the office because the technician forgot to measure my face. It was a strange experience because there were more techs than customers but I still had to ask for assistance because they were busy huddling and talking in a corner of the office. Only concern I have is in my observation, no employees wore masks when dealing with any patients. The state may have a mask mandate being lifted but the hospital is reminding all others that masks still need to be wore even though you're fully vaccinated. There is still no guarantees that this virus is fully over. Those working with any patients in any profession that comes in close contact needs to have social distancing enforced in their facilities especially when getting close in dealing with eye exams. There are still those who are high risk that needs to have their health taken care of and yes their eyes as well that needs to have confidence in knowing any health care worker has consideration for their health especially during a pandemic.

My wife and I have been seeing Dr Scott Albrecht for a good number of years and have a high opinion of him both as a person and a Doctor. We know that he has done thorough exams and was always honest about the need or not to purchase new glasses.We also enjoy the the entire staff who are friendly and helpful. I would not change a thing with this office.

I love your office!! the Doctors, Staff, etc., are all awesome!! That said, I have autoimmune. In the lobby, two ladies were trying on many frames. The customers weren't wearing masks and the frames were not being disinfected after they had tried them on. In short, the exam room seemed "safe", but the lobby clearly isn't. I understand people have "rights", and I hate this whole CoVid situation. But you might want to consider that not having customers wear masks & not disinfecting the frames costs you money . . . for our family 4 people's frames/glasses. On-line services are excellent (Zenni/1-800-Contacts/etc.), I don't know exactly how you can compete, but I just thought I'd give you a "heads-up", that not having a "safe" lobby can hit your pocket book. To put this into perspective, my Salt Lake City Opthomologist, Dr.Majid Moshirfar, is an internationally recognized eye surgeon. He holds a prestigious position today with Hoope's Vision and was the past medical director at the nationally renown John Moran Eye Center, both of the SLC area. When I needed a local (Cedar City) optometrist to follow up on a procedure Dr. Moshirfar performed, I asked Dr. Moshirfar's office for a recommendation. He told me I should see Scott Albrecht, one of the best. My past few experiences with Dr. Albrecht have been way above expectation, I can understand how he came so highly recommended. He's not only a great doctor, but a great personality that treats his patients with understanding and concern. He really knows his business! Need I say more?

Dr. Albrecht is wonderful! I came to him a few years ago after several unpleasant experiences with three OTHER optometrists in Cedar City, and he is by far the most professional, friendly and efficient. He is thorough, listens to you and explains things well. He is also great with my two young children that need glasses! He always makes my kids laugh and is very patient with us all as the little ones run around during my eye exams! The office staff are great at reminding you of and confirming your appointments, and they create a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. I highly recommend Dr. Albrecht to everyone, especially families!

I get really bad anxiety going to the eye doctor because I went to Walmart for contacts once & the guy really creeped me out & made me feel uncomfortable. Since then I've kind of avoided going anywhere for an eye exam. Until I lost my glasses & had no choice but to make an appointment. Many of my coworkers recommended Dr. Albrecht after I explained how nervous I was about going to an optometrist again. I can easily say that Dr. Albrecht is hands down the best! Within just a few minutes of examining my eyes he could easily tell me what my prescription was & we only had to fine tune it. You can tell he loves what he does & it very passionate about his work. I felt comfortable & was informed of everything that was going on. He had even gone above & beyond to help me adjust to the stronger prescription by docking it down by 15%. Since I had been wearing the same old pair for about 10yrs & the stronger lenses would have given me more migraines than I already experience on the daily, he took that into consideration when making the lenses final. When he was doing the exam he was also aware that I'm an Epileptic & made sure I was okay during the process in which they have lights shinning in your eyes. I'm very pleased with my visit & will highly recommend him to everyone I know.

Everyone was very helpful and informative. I learned things from everyone that helped me. The young woman who did my preliminary exams explained all of the testing, teaching me things about my eyes I hadn't know before. Dr. Albrecht, as always, was straightforward in telling me the condition, progression, and prognosis for my eyesight. Even the young man who helped me choose and fit my frames/lenses was great at helping me understand why and what would work best for me.

Our family has used discount eye care facilities in the past and we were unsure of how this appointment would turn out. The entire staff is friendly and gracious and the doctor was fast and thourough. He really put my son at ease during his appointment. We were in and out in 40 minutes with two pair of glasses for the same price we usually pay for one at the other places. Our whole family will be now going to Southern Utah Vision Care for our eye care needs.

All staff were friendly, and helpful. I especially was pleased that the young man who showed my granddaughter the "Medicaid approved" frames, did not make a big deal about it. I do have to tell you I was Given a pair of contacts to try and they were very comfortable but I kept saying My right eye is so dang blurry that I need to let them know I needed to change The strength of my right eye! I worked in them all day and when I went to take them out That night for the life if me I couldn't get the one on the right eye out! I tried for a good 20 minutes and nothing!! The only thing I have to say is I hope when I am ready to order that they come in colors because I'm too blind to even see if they are in my eye or out! I had apparently not gotten the the contact in my right eye and therefore explains why it was so blurry!! I'm blonde and blind!

I was pleased with the efficiency of the office, but frustrated that I was given a $1,500 bill with no possibility of deferring or making payments. Also, your staff told me they couldn't bill Aflac, but Aflac told me all you had to do was fax them proof of the visit and Aflac would have paid you directly. I have never paid so much for vision care and my family is financially crippled from the experience. I honestly can't afford you. I wish I had known that before I made the appointments, or that someone from your office had told me how much a simple office visit was going to cost. It would have been really helpful. $1,500 in one week...? Really? For basic, regular, preventative care?

Which I am totally okay with because I know when I have an appointment, dr albrect gives me he undivided attention, give me more time to review everything than any other doctor has in the past, and doesn't feel rushed so that he can hurry on to his next appt. I am a hard person to please! I have a LOT of issues with my eyes. Dr. Albrecht took the time to do a very thorough exam and looked at all options and found out what was really at the root of the vision problems I have been having (that another eye doctor did not find 2 weeks ago). I am VERY pleased with the result and have already recommended him to some friends!
