The Staff is unflinchingly helpful in all aspects of eye care. I have Kaiser Vision Care coverage but consistently come back to S4SE to fill prescriptions & even get a '2nd opinion' of the Rx prescription. Twice they've given me better results.

I needed a quick appointment for some vision changes I noticed. Dr. Gadreau was able to see me the same afternoon. She was exceptionally knowledgeable and discovered what I was noticing. She was efficient, kind and amazingly helpful. I would not hesitate to book an appointment here.

I went in with my 8 year old daughter to get eye examinations for both of us. The staff were all very friendly, and also very patient with my daughter as she had a lot of questions in her first ever full eye exam. The doctor was excellent and spent extra time with my daughter to make sure she was seeing clearly before setting her prescription. We both had to get a pair of glasses, and there were plenty of options in frames for us to choose from. All-in-all it was a very smooth and fun experience for my daughter and I.

The staff were very accommodating and Dr. Parya was very engaging and down to earth. I had not been to an eye doctor in 20+ years. She did not chastise me but rather focused on what elements I should consider, actions I should take going forward. When we finished in the exam portion she had listened, made great notes and passed off to her staff my needs for glasses; bifocal with visible line, aviator style, gradient shading optimized for distance as I use them for flying. I need to see air traffic easily.

I’ve been coming here for a few years for prescriptions and I usually only pay $130 for the contact astigmatism exam. I asked if there were other contacts that may be cheaper.. so I tried some out. I didn’t know that was an extra $130. I was shocked when my total was $250. The dr should have told me.

From the start of entry staff was not very knowledgeable. One girl who helped me get into the computer to give my contact and medical history information was the only one in top of her job. Doctor continuously called me and staff members honey. To me this is showing superiority. It was certainly commercialized and no personalized touch. I told doctor I liked the fit of contacts I had, although she continued to do her own fitting and have me try it. It felt uncomfortable, so we went back to the original fitting that I already said I liked. Not to mention I had to pay $120 out of pocket for this. I would never go back! Don’t go unless you can get service for free.

I had my first visit with Site for Sore Eyes. I was very happy with the thorough eye exam, the professionalism and expertise of the doctor, and friendliness and helpfulnesses of the rest of the crew. They worked with me on price tor the exam and lenses as I don't have insurance. I’ll definitely go back and recommend them.

Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable about their products. Scheduling was pretty easy and flexible to accommodate my schedule. The eye exam itself was pretty fun, all the new equipment they have made it a pretty fast appointment. They game me many options for Eyewear and helped me look at products covered by my insurance.

Site For Sore Eyes Los gatos is the number one place for all your optometry needs. The Optician on staff is singularly one of the best in the standard of care provided for eye exams and Rx. The dedicated staff is extremely interactive and friendly. The whole process of eye exam, buying glasses to working with insurance is a seamless experience.

The ophthalmologist here is really good. I love how specific she is to make sure my eyes are healthy. It's not rushed. And the frame selection is beyond good (YSL, Dita, Oliver People's just to name a few of the high-end choices). And they will make sure you look great in what you choose. They care. That said, it's nearly impossible to get an appointment as their online tools don't work (you book and then you get a note saying it's not available, over and over again). And so they certainly don't make it easy to be their customer. But once you're there, it's a great experience.

The staff were all very friendly, but it did feel like they were just trying to rush me out the door. The exam was the least comprehensive I’ve had before, it only included a visual exam with the light. The glaucoma test was an extra fee which I’ve never experienced before. The contact lens fitting was also the most expensive I’ve ever experienced, even though I’ve been using the same brand for a decade and the extent of the “fitting” was asking me if this brand was still comfortable. I had also complained about itchy eyes and the doctor told me they could see eyelashes growing into my eye, but provided no treatment. They also didn’t ask about any other symptoms to see if there may have been other causes for my eye discomfort in areas where I didn’t have lashes growing inward. This appointment left me with more questions and concerns than when I went in, and I ultimately would not recommend or return.

I drive from Foster City to this Los Gatos store! Dr. Parya Gaudreau is knowledgeable and she truly wants to help. She has been my eye doctor for at least 10 years, and even moving up to Foster City, I would still drive to Los Gatos to see her. Staff is friendly and helpful, no long waiting lines. Great store!!!! Will continue seeing them as long as I can.

Dr. Gaurdeau is a wonderful doctor and her staff is wonderful. I have been seeing her for 3 years and I appreciate her care of me and my eye health. She is very efficient and offers Saturday appointments so it is very convenient to see her. Her staff is very accommodating and if you have financial concerns, they will work with you to provide glasses that are affordable for you.
